Oh I'm so sorry @Missy95. I really hope everything is okay. Thinking of you and take it easy xx

Trinxsy · 29/10/2021 22:49

Hope all goes well @Missy95. I had bleeding with DS around 7 weeks, bright red blood. Not enough to go onto my underwear but enough to panic me. I had a haematoma. Scary at the time but was nothing to worry about.

I'm really struggling with my anxiety during this pregnancy after my MC. I'm convinced it's going to happen again and I'm constantly googling statistics and the likelihood of another MC. I'm really struggling, I'm only 4 weeks now. I'm going to book an early scan for 6 ish weeks I think. I just need to hear a heartbeat.

I feel exactly the same! Every day I check the statistics but it doesn't really give me any comfort. I think because the statistics would've been the same with my last pregnancy but it still ended in miscarriage. I'm analysing every symptom (or lack of them) and generally just feel an anxious mess. I've also booked a private scan for 6+5 then my health board give anyone with a pregnancy loss a reassurance scan at 8 weeks. I'm hoping if I get to them and everything looks ok the anxiety will ease.

Hi all, has anyone had any issues with clear blue tests? I think I am pregnant, AF 3 days late as of this morning, feeling sick and tired (keep falling asleep in the afternoon) I have just take 2 tests one digital early detection and one ultra early (left over from when I had my DS who is 2 but both still in date!) and both haven't worked. It's so frustrating, could I have done them both wrong? I have never had blank tests before 🙁

DawnWW · 30/10/2021 10:06

@Missy95 how are you? How are things going? Sending love xx

Missy95 · 30/10/2021 10:14

Hi ladies, thanks for the kind words and reassurance ❤️
@DawnWW unfortunately bleeding is still the same. Pretty heavy and bright red. Day 4 now which is longer than my usual period would be. I think its safe to assume the worse 🥺 The scan on Monday should confirm. Ive had some cramps but nothing more than period cramps and lower back pain.

I hope everyone else is feeling well ❤️

Yellowdiamond10 · 30/10/2021 10:19

I've just had 2 positives on an early detection clear blue tests, one last night and one this morning, I will be due in July. I knew as I was feeling very nauseous! I am very nervous as had an ruptured ovarian ectopic in August so a bit of a wait until I find out everything is ok :)

DawnWW · 30/10/2021 11:16

@Missy95 I'm so sorry to hear that. Take it slow over the weekend and let us know how things go on Monday. Everyone is still here for you regardless of what happens ❤️

CharlyA · 30/10/2021 19:27

Hey Ladies 👋🏽

Please can I join you.... I got my BFP last night at 12/13 dpo - I just couldn't wait until the morning! Was so expecting to be disappointed but also had a feeling.. anyway 'pregnant' almost instantly flashed up!!!!!!! 😃😃😃

I can't believe it!!! We have been ttc since Jan 2021 after having the implant out... unfortunately I had a MMC in May which was discovered at a 10 week scan. Devastated of course and now super anxious about this pregnancy but I'm going to take each day as it comes and try not to worry/stress about it (easier said than done right!!!) - tips welcome!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of you with BFPs.

Really looking forward to sharing experiences with you all. Flo predicts my due date as 11 July!

HoneyPea · 30/10/2021 19:42

I finally managed to take a test correctly and have indeed got my BFP so would love to join all of you if that's ok?
Congratulations to everyone.
@Missy95 so sorry to hear about bleeding fingers crossed for Monday 💜

chitter87 · 30/10/2021 21:35

Evening all! Jumping on board with my BFP tonight - what a treat for Halloween🥰 I'm around 14 DPO as due on today, but had sore boobs which I've only ever had before a positive test. Looking like a due date of around 10th July.

Very early days still, but this would be DC2. DD is just over 2.5 years and pregnancy and birth was rather traumatic, hoping for a slightly easier ride this time round, and will be closely watched by medical team. Had 2 miscarriages before DD and we had a chemical back in August so keeping fingers firmly crossed that we've got ourselves a sticky little bean ❤

Sending lots of happy pregnancy sprinkles out to you all!

feliznavidad2 · 30/10/2021 21:54

Tentatively joining after getting my first BFP since trying for no. 2 began in March of this year. I'm 13dpo.

Despite being v sure this is what I wanted, now it's a reality, I feel a bit shell shocked. Blush But excited all the same. Smile

Trinxsy · 30/10/2021 22:19

Congrats to all new joiners! We all have exciting times ahead.

We sound similar @chitter84! Same due date, my period was due today also. My sons pregnancy and birth was also very traumatic for me. I'm under consultant care this time as the likelihood of it all happening again is higher for me now. We're going to be getting some wonderful care this time though! Grin

Ah yay, love a parallel story, although wish it wasn't traumatic! We'll be well monitored and looked after I'm sure! How are you feeling about it all?
PleaseSendNoodles · 31/10/2021 18:18

Hello! Just read this WHOLE thread.

@Missy95 I’ll be thinking of you. Let us know how tomorrow goes. Hoping it’s just a blip and not what you’re fearing. Must be really scary though.

I’ve been wondering where my Lucky October TTC crew were at! @Cruz86 @jadeypies @Effram @Elsols93 and several others! Hi 👋🏼 I thought I’d lost you!

I’m technically due end of June but I’m going to tag along here anyway if that’s okay.

jadeypies · 31/10/2021 18:33

Hey everyone, welcome to those who've just got their bfp!

@PleaseSendNoodles glad you found us! A few of us are due end of June too (myself included) but felt this group was a better fit, plus as you mentioned there are lots of us from the Lucky October thread here 🥰

@Missy95 been thinking of you this weekend!

I'm 6+2 today and feeling very lucky symptom wise, I've only got sore boobs. Taking it and running, I'm a secondary school teacher so was dreading morning sickness but fingers crossed I've avoided this 🤣 I've also booked a scan for 17th Nov where I'll be 8+5. Hoping it'll feel more real for both me and my OH. He's been fab with me but things don't feel at all real for him, anyone who's already got children- when did your partner start feeling like a dad?!

chitter87 · 31/10/2021 19:24

Is anyone else feeling a bit 'crampy'? I may well be overreading every sign because of previous chemical, but I just don't remember if I had this with my daughter or not 😬

Trinxsy · 31/10/2021 19:28

Im feeling excited, time seems to be going very slowly! I've just seen your recent post and I've just been googling about cramps, they're bloody killing me!
I'm really anxious though after MC in July, I'm constantly checking if I'm bleeding but I'm just trying to go with the flow.
How are you doing?

Trinxsy · 31/10/2021 19:29

Meant for @chitter87. Quote failed oops Confused

Holskey · 31/10/2021 19:33

@jadeypies honestly, I think it took until my ds was a few months old for my oh to feel properly like a daddy! He didn't have any experience of little ones (no nieces or nephews etc) and just didn't know what to expect. It didn't cause any issues for us and he did all the right things; it was just a big adjustment. This time I think he'll feel more bonded to the baby even in pregnancy because he knows how great they turn out! But everyone is different. Perhaps it will be more real for your oh when he sees the scan.

PleaseSendNoodles · 31/10/2021 19:34

@chitter87 and @Trinxsy I’ve had cramps too. They’ve been on and off for weeks now. Sometimes they’re really strong. Went to hospital as a precaution on Friday but they said everything looks fine - so hopefully it’s normal for all of us!

annie1994 · 31/10/2021 20:07

@jadeypies my DS is 14 months and me and my partner were saying only last week that we still don’t feel like parents! It’s weird! I do think when they can start feeling the baby kick, it makes it all more real for them. As they realise that an actual human is drowning in there!

annie1994 · 31/10/2021 20:07

Growing** not drowning 😂

JNGO21 · 31/10/2021 20:42

Hi guys, can I please join? I’m about 4 weeks. Due date around 9th July, fingers crossed.
What do I need to do?! I’ve filled out a form for the midwife and booked an early private scan.
I’ve also started on folic acid. Is there anything else?
So nice to have people on the same journey to talk to.
This will be our first (obviously!)

GlowUp · 31/10/2021 22:21

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to join? I got my bfp last night - a fairly faint but definitely there line, which I then confirmed with a digi test this morning (pregnant 1-2!).
This will hopefully be DC3 for me and I'm currently 3+5 and due on 12th July 😊
My youngest is 7 so I feel like there's a lot I've forgotten about the early days of pregnancy! I would swear that I feel exactly like my period is about to start if i hadn't had the bfps!
Have you all booked in with a midwife yet? I can't remember if I rang up straight away last time or left it for a little while.
Wishing you all lots of love and luck for the months ahead 😊x
