@bubbles1st do you have your latest list of due dates to add to here?

@Sceptre86 I’m 39 weeks now and been feeling achy, crampy and been getting really strong braxton hicks the last few days. I don’t necessarily think that’s a sign of anything happening but it’s making me super uncomfortable!!

@Sceptre86 I'll be 40 weeks on Wednesday too. I keep getting odd period type pains and get myself thinking something is happening then they suddenly stop. I've had loads of braxton Hicks too but that's about it. DC1 was born at 40+11 after being induced and at that point I was only 1cm and my cervix was still high so thinking DC2 could be a while unless the consultant decides I need inducing early when I see them tomorrow

@leftitlate37 I'm also apprehensive about whether I have 4 weeks left or one day (I'm 36+2 today) so I'm frantically gonna be sorting washing and packing now!

Well @RadDarwazeh think I've got my answer! Induction booked as waters started to go so gotta hope stuff starts in 24h of its own accord! That's a chilled start to mat leave out the window!

I'm due 24 September with a boy so still have a whole to go. My first was 10 days late so this king I'll probably go most of the way but hoping he comes earlier as Im not one of those that enjoys pregnancy.

I don't get much in the way of symptoms but my daughter has given me back to back colds and the lack of medicine available to pregnant women is frustrating.

I'm 36 weeks today and definitely feel like my body is starting to prep itself. I'm not expecting to go into labour anytime soon but he seems to be moving lower, my BHs are more intense and I had some mild period type pain last night in bed. Still got two weeks of work left though so he needs to wait haha!

Currently got no water in the house because we discovered a mains pipe has been leaking into our kitchen for god knows how long. Last weekend we had a gas leak and our shower was leaking a couple of weeks before that 🤦‍♀️. Keep telling myself at least its getting sorted now instead of after baby arrives. But I had lots of plans to wash baby clothes etc today dammit!

Congratulations on all the new arrivals! Hope you're all doing okay and those of you who have babies needing a bit more care will be reunited soon.
I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and have finally made a start on hospital bags and putting together the nursery.
Weirdly, I'm starting work again tomorrow as I'm a teacher and not starting maternity for a bit longer. I think it will be hard to get my head in the game. I'm lucky to have a fantastic headteacher though who wants me to work from home. (There is maternity cover starting in my class).
Baby is still breech though and I'm not sure I can see him/her moving any time soon... Anyone else in the same boat?

We have our 36 week scan (routine for where we live) tomorrow and I'm so excited. Can't believe it's been 16 weeks since we last saw her. I'll be 36w3d so starting to feel the countdown is on!

Totally feeling odd that in theory she could be here imminently but also I could be waiting another 6 weeks. Welcome to Limbo land!!

I got called into the hospital today. I was due a growth scan, but they couldn’t fit me in, so they asked me to go for monitoring. Everything was fab - movements, heartbeat etc. They picked up white cells and blood in my urine though, so are sending that off. They are hoping to call me back in for a scan tomorrow. Seems very surreal that I’m in single figures now… 39 weeks tomorrow 😱🤣

@SillyBry hope it turns out to be nothing! Not long at all.

I’ve started counting down in days now. I just can’t wait until I meet him and cuddle him. Had my midwife appointment today finally, she didn’t end up coming whilst we were isolating, measuring ok and pee/BP all good. No appointment now until 40+4 which feels like a lifetime away.

Got called back in @FTEngineerM as waters had gone and group b strep positive....was thinking might have 2 be induced, but apparently 2cm....so staying here, antibiotics at some point and guessing sometime this week be going home with a baby....this feels so weird!!!!!!

36 weeks and I have a terrible on of pain in my (?) cervix.
My lower back aches so much.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm so ready to have this baby!! But he needs to stay in for at least another week so I can have my home birth.

@leftitlate37 just seeing you are group b strep positive too.. I've been told to come straight down when my waters break/labour start so I'm assuming they keep you in then until baby arrives? I haven't been told much more

Hey @Hopefulmummie! So was weird timing this morn as had mw appt anyway, but thought waters had poss started to go. Mw confirmed they had, sent me home and said would induce at 24h if hadn't gone into labour already, and would then start drip etc. But then middle of arvo they called me back and were like no no come now, we will need to do IVs before that....and here I am just chilling out on a ward, no IVs yet, and no induction yet either....just waiting it out. No idea when they'll start IV...think I'm maybe waiting for a slot elsewhere like the birth centre or labour ward but tbh have no idea what's happening!?changes whoever u speak too. I'd defo just make sure u tell whoever new u speak too that you are gbs and call them up if waters go so they can start to get stuff prepped. How many weeks are u now?? X

@leftitlate37 exciting times for you! I hope they don’t take too long to start your induction! Try to relax in the meantime - I told myself my afternoon of monitoring was “time out with a book”… gotta sell it to myself as enforced rest time!! 😉

@leftitlate37 alot of confusion for you! Yeah I thought you definitely had to go in as soon as labour started so they could give you the antibiotics as precaution.. I was told you need to be on them at least 4 hours before baby comes. Suppose its hard for them to time it.

I'm 38 weeks.. Getting a sweep at 39 weeks

Haha @SillyBry! U can but try! That was plan for this pm til got told to go back in, was well up for a nice hot bath, a takeout and some Netflix.....!

To all of you counting down... Try and enjoy your last few days. My bump has literally disappeared now - amazingly I've got my abs back!!!) - and it makes me so sad that I aren't pregnant anymore. Feel a bit cheated that Alice had to come so early that I missed out on those last few weeks.. But it's so wonderful when they are here xx

How r u guys doing @Kirky658? And how's dog life with a newborn?! As if u got your abs back;) awesome! Sorry u feel a bit sad but to be expected when u had such an unexpected and challenging start to life with Alice.
So am wishing had either got more stuff sorted earlier or had started mat leave earlier....all my plans for stuff out the window and now here I am, trying to get a tens machine set up at 3am with a support worker and don't think it's working properly....was a job for this week!! Ooooops.

Abs 😲 @Kirky658 that’s great you’ve recovered so soon, I mean I didn’t have abs to start with so I’d be surprised if I had them postpartum though😂. Thank you for keeping it in perspective for me, moaning about being uncomfortable and then I forget what others have been through ☹️You’re right.
