Hi all!

I just find out I'm 4 weeks pregnant! Last period was 28/07/2021

We were trying for nearly 2 years (stopped few months at the beginning the pandemic) and we were doing some test to hopefully join the waiting list for IVF. They said my partner's sperm was too slow.

I didn't see any post regarding due date May.
I called today my GP and they said to choose a hospital and send a referal.

Hey! I'm so pleased I've found this group! I'm 5 + 2 as far as I can work!
My partner and I haven't told anyone yet...can't decide when is the right time?!
We've booked an early scan for about 7 and a half weeks, but not sure I can keep it to myself til then, really want to tell my Mum!!

Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 21:31

@hoola23 Aye, I saw those too and I'm considering getting one. I looked into them back in April before I miscarried and reviews are really good for it.

@babyE123 The right time is whenever you feel like it really. I've told my sister and we're telling my in-laws but no one else until we're a bit further along. I had an early miscarriage last year (before we even had the chance to tell anyone) and a missed miscarriage at the end of April. I just couldn't face having to tell everyone again if thing were to go wrong again.

Things feel different this time around though, not sure how to explain it. It just have a better feeling about it. Symptoms also starting earlier, I've been queasy throughout the day the past 3 days, going to bathroom a lot more and I already had to have an after-work nap today.

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 21:37

@babyE123 congrats to you and your partner hard to decide when's right sometimes isn't it

@Piggers946 sorry to hear about your miscarriages hopefully this time is your rainbow baby x

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 21:49

@Piggers946 sorry about your miscarriage 😢

Yeah I think I might do it! Will take the results with a pinch of salt though!!

Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 21:49

I set up a Facebook group to make it easier to chat and stay in touch with each other. Also because these threads only allow a limited amount of comment before you have to start a new one.

The link is www.facebook.com/groups/887922675410246 and it's called Spring Babies

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 21:50

@Piggers946 thanks! I'm not good with Facebook, can anyone on your friends see you're in the group?!

Ah cool 😁 That sounds like a great way to keep on touch! Can non members see if you're in the group? Don't want to risk anyone stumbling across it and seeing my name 🙈 Bit of a giveaway 🤣🤣
Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 22:04

@hoola23 @WingingItEveryDay7 No, it's a private group. So, while the group itself is searchable, no one will be able to see you're a member of it or what you post in it unless they're a member themselves.

Excellent idea. I've just joined.

Although. Same question as the other ladies? I assume no one can see that we're in this group as it's private?

Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 22:09

@FrostedCupcakes Exactly, it's completely private (and privacy settings can't be changed either to public for example), so no one will be able to see that you're a member aside from other members.

WingingItEveryDay7 · 08/09/2021 22:12

Cool, I've just joined 😁

SherbertLemons · 08/09/2021 22:15

I got my BDP on Monday so (all being well) will be due around 14 May!

Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 22:18

@SherbertLemons I've set up a Facebook group (link above) for us all so it's easier to chat, you're welcome to join :)

Hi guys my tests aren't getting any darker it's been about 43 hours now since I first tested. Do you think I should be worried x

DLB22 · 09/09/2021 07:15

Hi everyone, I'm due 14th may. Planned and excited however..I have a 3 yo DD and I'm really apprehensive how she will react! We are at a really good stage with her, she goes to bed perfectly, is polite and funny and confident. She goes to nursery so I have me time again! the thought of starting from scratch again is SO daunting!! She was a nightmare sleeping and napping and I hated being pregnant! My emotions are a bit all over the place!

blessings2022 · 09/09/2021 08:01

@MissM94

Hi ladies, Can I join? 😁 found out yesterday, last period started on 8th of August so apps are saying I'm 4 weeks and 3 days.. given 14th of May as a due date! My first pregnancy, trying not to get excited as there's lots that can go wrong but I'm so amazed, I got pregnant our first time trying without protection! Had sex Monday & Wednesday, ovulated one the Tuesday! Thinking we're gonna a private scan for when I'm 9 weeks but how do we get through the next few weeks not knowing how our embryos are doing? 😂 only done 3 tests, don't want to keep testing because I know I'll get obsessed but my lines are looking okay tbf! Number 1 was yesterday about 4pm, the clear blues were this morning before work.. I only did a test as I felt really tired and off and my boobs were killing.. never in a million years expected to see the other line! 🥰
I am exactly the same dates as you.

Such an anxious time isnt it! Last period started on 8th August, I know we conceived on 25th August as this was the only day we DTD. Flo app showing as 4 weeks 5 days as of today.

I wouldn't worry too much. As long as theres no bleeding you are still pregnant.
MissM94 · 09/09/2021 08:21

@blessings2022 omg yes! Such an anxious time! How crazy that were exactly the same dates!! We've got eachother through it all 😁

YummyMummyXoX · 09/09/2021 09:53

My last period was 9th August due 25th May at the moment (typed dates wrong lol) were all so close! X

MummaRainbowbaby2 · 09/09/2021 10:27

Hullabaloowho · 09/09/2021 10:57

Hi all and congratulations to everyone!
I've just got my BFP today after testing 11DPO due to lots of symptoms, last period was August 20th but I have short cycles. Reckon around May 17th for due date.

It's our first cycle TTC #2. I have an 18 month old who took 13 months (with a chemical pregnancy and ectopic along the way) to conceive so know that nothing is certain yet. I haven't even told my DH yet, going to wait until officially missed period. Funnily enough I've just ordered my DS a doll to play with as he's been so interested in them recently... He must know! 😂

LeeTTCRainbow · 09/09/2021 14:57

@Hullabaloowho Congratulations and welcome sorry to hear about your previous losses also. xx
