Hi all!

I just find out I'm 4 weeks pregnant! Last period was 28/07/2021

We were trying for nearly 2 years (stopped few months at the beginning the pandemic) and we were doing some test to hopefully join the waiting list for IVF. They said my partner's sperm was too slow.

I didn't see any post regarding due date May.
I called today my GP and they said to choose a hospital and send a referal.

@MissM94 Hey lovely, ive had a missed miscarriage and a miscarriage and with this preganncy im just doing my best to keep positive, i have strong lines and quite strong symptoms this time so for me this is helping, i have booked a early scan this time around 8+5 weeks which hopefully seeing our little jelly bean will give us that reassurance we need, but pregnancy is a nerve wracking time no matter how far along you are, so its totally normal to worry. xx

Piggers946 · 08/09/2021 10:32

@LeeTTCRainbow Yea, first tested positive on Friday, kept testing on the weekend to be sure and phoned them Monday afternoon. I ended up in hospital with my miscarriage at the end of April due to severe blood loss from an incomplete miscarriage. At the time they already said to call them as soon as found out I was pregnant again, so I wouldn't have to bother with private scans x

LeeTTCRainbow · 08/09/2021 10:37

@Piggers946 that's interesting to know, think i will do the same, i had a missed miscarriage in January found via our 12 week scan and few days later as started miscarrying haemorrhaged and ended up being in hospital and had to have d&c then had a further loss in march so hopefully they will see me, think will give them a call and see what they say, thanks x

MissM94 · 08/09/2021 10:57

@ShellUK09 yeah that's what I'm thinking, if it's light/not a lot then try not to worry until it's bright red and painful haha it's just hard isn't it when it's something you want more than anything which is something we all have in common 😂 thank you xx

@LeeTTCRainbow aww, I'm so sorry you've been through so much it so glad you're pregnant again! Oh yeah, we're going to be stressed for the rest of our lives 😂 just hope my little seed secures itself then mama won't stress anymore hahahah xxx

LeeTTCRainbow · 08/09/2021 11:38

@MissM94 thank you, keeping positive that this little jelly bean is our rainbow that weve been waiting for. you say that but even after 12 week mark your still be stressing, worrying and even once bubs arrives, i don't think parents ever stop worrying from day fall pregnant to when they have kids of their own. just part of being parents. x

Queenie63 · 08/09/2021 12:16

Hey everyone, hope im okay to jump on!

Sorry to hear about your losses, I tested positive last week after a miscarriage in July at 7 weeks.

AF was only due on Sunday so i tested for 5 days up until AF was due (i ran out of tests lol) and the lines were very strong even from the first day. I started spotting really late last night and had slight rusty coloured discharge this morning which is really worrying but given im so early im hoping its implantation bleeding, fingers crossed for a May baby Smile

MissM94 · 08/09/2021 12:26

@LeeTTCRainbow oh definitely hahaha! Atleast we're all worrying today! X

TanBr · 08/09/2021 12:45

@Queenie63 hope you are feeling ok? Rest up as much as you can.

MissM94 · 08/09/2021 14:59

@LeeTTCRainbow okay so my sentence should of said Atleast we're all worrying together, not today 😂

Mammabear8612 · 08/09/2021 16:59

Congrats with all the positive tests.
I've just found out I'm pregnant I already have a child and I'm freaking out because I had an ectopic which resulted into a tube loss 8 years ago.. I rang the epu and they said I'll be due may 13th give or take. I have an appointment next Wednesday with them.

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 18:45

Just jumping on as I recently got a BFP after 12 months! No real symptoms at all but I started testing crazy early and got a BFP at 8dpo so I'm 4 weeks today and my app gave an EDD of 19th May. First baby so I know nothing about pregnancy!! I learnt so much in all the TTC forums! Congrats to everyone!! ❤️

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 19:00

@YummyMummyXoX were so close in dates!! I'm not 100% when I ovulated so could be a day forward or behind. Do you have any symptoms yet? Xx

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 19:07

Neither am I! Says cd 35 but I found out on cd30 so that can't be right surely lol.

I know how close in dates are we lol... I've had stinging itchy nipples for about a week, had nausea, backache, cramps, dizzy, needing to wee more and hungry in the mornings lol but just thought it was my period approaching
How are you? X

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 19:21

Sorry cd 25 was predicted Ov not 35 x

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 19:42

@YummyMummyXoX my cycles are usually 26 days and I'm only just 14dpo today so essentially 4 weeks! I'm going to book a private scan for around 8 weeks or so and I'm hoping it might be able to give a better date.

I have nothing at all! Well not that I'm aware of! I had more "symptoms" in the TWW 🤣 I did have some period type pains today but they only lasted half an hour. I guess I can "feel" something low down like pinching on and off but literally that's it! Oh aside from the WoRST back pain ever. But that has got a bit better over the last two days. Boobs feel fine, just a tad tighter I think but I'm not complaining about that🤣

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 19:45

Mine are usually from 32 days to 40! But have been 38 and 39 last 2 lol. I'm having quite noticeable cramps! And pinching twitching! How's your partner with the news? X

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 19:48

@YummyMummyXoX he was so shocked!! I had a mini break down at 6dpo when I got an evap and was very emotional deflated and said I wasn't pregnant so when I told him he just couldn't believe it and burst into tears! He keeps looking at me and saying "you're a mama now!!" Very cute!
How about yours? Have you told anyone else? Xx

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 19:53

Awh that is too cute, do you have any preference on gender? I've told my partner my best friend and 3 people because it's early days! That's it for now x

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 19:57

@YummyMummyXoX I don't have a preference but DH already has two DD so he is desperate for a boy. Like really desperate! 🤣 out of 8 nieces/nephews between us only 1 is a boy so far. Surrounded by girls! Even our cat is a girl so he is seriously out numbered! How about you?

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 19:58

I want a girl as I have a boy! But I'll get what I'm given! X

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 20:01

@YummyMummyXoX I'd be the same if I already had one gender I'd want the other. But yes, no choice in this matter🤣

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 20:41

Hehe I just so impatient X

hoola23 · 08/09/2021 20:46

@YummyMummyXoX you and me both!! I saw this blood test you can buy online- sneak peek I think it's called which you can use to find out the gender by 8 weeks I think. Not sure if it's reliable but the reviews look good!

YummyMummyXoX · 08/09/2021 20:50

I saw that all the reviews say accurate! X
