Hi all!

I just find out I'm 4 weeks pregnant! Last period was 28/07/2021

We were trying for nearly 2 years (stopped few months at the beginning the pandemic) and we were doing some test to hopefully join the waiting list for IVF. They said my partner's sperm was too slow.

I didn't see any post regarding due date May.
I called today my GP and they said to choose a hospital and send a referal.

I feel exhausted and so over emotional every cramp I get im getting anxious is anyone else having lots of cramps at 5 weeks?

@WingingItEveryDay7 how far along are you? I didn't know when to do my self referral I remember last time they were very speedy with getting back to me

@MummaRainbowbaby2 I’m 4 weeks 5 days and have lots of cramping too- it’s usually happens when I stand up, kind of like a burning feeling.
From what I’ve read it seems quite normal- but still doesn’t make me feel any less anxious!

@MillyMcg thats reassuring that your having it too, I've been at work since half 6 on my feet and they're quite painful now going down my legs think I'm just tired!

Got my bfp Friday at 4 weeks exactly. Due date calculator says May 14 which is my birthday 🙃

I have a 19 month old baby boy.

Prior to his birth I had a miscarriage and had another one diagnosed this April, both identified around 8 weeks. So I'm not counting this as a sure thing by any means. Will just poke around for a bit until (if) we make it that far this time.

I'm 4 weeks 2 days. Figured I'd just go online and do it whilst I remembered and had time. It asks your dates so they'll contact you at the right time anyways so didn't see the harm in doing it now x

Joining in as well, finally got our BFP again on Friday, about 4+2 today. Should be due around 11-15 May. This will be our rainbow baby after a miscarriage end of April just as I was about to go into the 2nd trimester and an early miscarriage August last year. Absolutely ecstatic, phone EPU today and have a early scan booked in two weeks, honestly can't wait. X

Can I join in this discussion. I found out I was pregnant yesterday, still in complete shock but really happy too I am 4 weeks and calculated the due date would be 11th May, but I know it is very early so not getting ahead of myself yet. This is our first child and we were on our second month of trying so this is all feeling quite a shock! I’m 36 and was on the mini pill for years so didn’t expect this to happen quickly for me. I’m not sure when to ring the GP or if I should wait a bit longer. This is all new to me and feeling a bit clueless so far!

@MillieMcg and @MummaRainbowbaby2 I’ve been having little cramps too. I thought that with the IVF I’m just being sensitive to everything. I need to stop obsessing and doing tests. My chances of getting pregnant were 35% so I’m struggling to believe it’s true.

Hi! Can i join in? I’m due 12 May 2022 with my rainbow after one miscarriage and the late loss of my twins (PPROM) at 22 weeks last year. Taking nothing as a given as all were IVF but feeling positive with progression so far. I have an early IVF scan with my clinic at 8 weeks, but tbh I can’t wait for that so I’m going to go at 6+6 for a private scan.

Morning everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining, I finally got my BFP on Sunday following a fresh IVF cycle & have a due date of 13th May.
It still hasn't sunk in but really looking forward to sharing this journey with you all x

@WingingItEveryDay7 its a good idea i need to do mine too gives you something to look forward to and gives you a chance to rearrange work early xx

@TanBr the cramps seem to be quite common so thats good! Yeah I'm testing everyday just for that little bit of reassurance too! Your IVF scan is at 8 weeks isn't it? That will be such a relief for you I bet! X

@MummaRainbowbaby2 its mad lol. Before my only fear was a negative. Now it’s everything. First time mum who wait for Mr Right too long so going for it solo. At 5wk 4days it’s dragging, scan is at 8wks 3days as they couldn’t get me in on the Friday.

Also wishing you all a healthy pregnancy!! as I’ve not told anyone yet (apart from my partner) - it’s nice having somewhere to share how I’m feeling and hearing about everyone else’s experiences too! Have any of you developed insomnia since your bfp? I’ve been waking up at 4am most mornings and just can’t get back to sleep!

@MillyMcg I'm glad you said that as I was awake from 4.30am yesterday 😴 I was just uncomfortable but there was nothing wrong with me if that makes sense, so annoying!!
Have you had many symptoms other than that?

@TanBr yeah mine too i was so disappointed with negatives now every cramp scares me! Any other time those 3 weeks would go so quickly but time does seem to be dragging at the moment! X

@Etonmess20 @MillyMcg I'm the exact same dosnt help that my boobs are now massive and painful! I got the same insomnia in my last pregnancies! Worst thing being tired all the time and not being able to tell anyone why! Xx

I’ve been waking up so much and having trouble sleeping in the middle of the night which isn’t like me at all! I’m 6 weeks today and apart from that my only symptom is sore boobs , feeling a bit anxious I don’t have many other symptoms but maybe that’s silly !
So excited for all of our journeys !

Ah good to know I’m not the only one! @Etonmess20 yeah I totally get what you mean, I feel so restless and uncomfortable - and I don’t even have a bump yet! I’ve not had many other symptoms, just very sore boobs and a stuffy nose (which doesn’t help the sleep!). How are everyone else’s symptoms?

I have a stuffy nose too 😃.
You know we will probably all have morning sickened in the next week or so and be love & hating it.

@Milliep24 I've been the exact same! I'm 6 weeks 5 days. I've had sore boobs, well more nipples😂 I've had small bursts of feeling sick, but I've not been sick. The night time thing as well, I never need a wee on the night but I always need one early hours and then it's struggle getting back to sleep

@MillyMcg @Milliep24 @MummaRainbowbaby2 isn't that so weird how we're all experiencing the same? I have the remnants of the IVF bloat that seems to be finnnnnally going down now so do have a bit of a bump currently! Otherwise I get an odd heartburn that doesn't burn (throat feeling if that makes sense), hot flushes & breathlessness. I kind of like the bits of symptoms I keep getting though cus other than that I don't feel too different.

How far along are you all? It's ridiculously exciting to be able to share it with people at the same stage

I’m 6 weeks today although I know I ovulated really late in my cycle like day 24 according to the ovulation sticks so I might not be as far as I think I am !
I feel so impatient I just want things to start happening like scans / appointments / symptoms 😂
