Thanks for your kind words all. As my BP is now down they've decided to induce me for a natural birth! Apparently I'm having contractions but I had no idea... I'll need a epidural as the pain is likely to send BP sky high again, wanted to avoid but it is what it is. Just trying to get some sleep now, DH is dead to the world lol x

@Kirky658 hope you got a little rest last night. Really glad that hubby could stay with you - my last hospital experience was on my own and much nicer to have someone to hold your hand/go and find someone to ask questions etc when your brain is just panicking!

Hope the induction goes well - you’re in the right place at least. Try to rest up and we’ll all hope for good news soon xxx

Oh @Kirky658 thank goodness you got checked over and they are looking after you. What a turn of events, but as others have said, you get to meet your baby soon!!! You did say you thought she'd be early ❤️ Good luck with everything sweetheart, you'll be amazing xx

Has anyone found that their pattern of movement has changed as the baby’s gotten bigger? This last week, baby hasn’t been as active for as long and the times of day they’re active has changed as well. Also the movements feel different. I had a growth scan yesterday and a consultant appointment where I also got to listen to the heartbeat and all was well but I can’t remember what it was like last time, if the movements changed towards the end!

This is a huge wake up call that it could be any time. I’m intending to work right up until the birth but I’m going to have a word with my boss today to try to get her to back off a bit with the work load so I can actually get work done. I have way too much (they’ve not hired anyone yet to do my mat leave which is super stressful too - but I need to make it my boss’ problem rather than mine)

@Squibble84 in the last few days I've gone from lots of kicks to more shuffles - baby is measuring big so won't have much space for anything but he was booting like made the other week. I've had less movement over the last few days as I'm getting into bed and more during the day and at about 3am

@Squibble84 I am sure I read any change in pattern should be checked out but as your growth scan etc was all fine I'm sure that would be enough to satisfy your doctor/midwife. Is your midwife easy to contact to put your mind at ease?

@D0nut my work seem to have the same attitude, they keep throwing work at me but at the same time want me to have a handover prepared by Friday in case I'm told by the consultant on Monday that baby needs to come earlier than originally planned. Feel like I'm fighting a losing battle 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi everyone

I've been lurking on here since the beginning but been rubbish at posting! Just wanted to say hi again as reading through all these posts over these past few months has helped me sooo much as first time mum! My baby boy is due on 24th sept 💙

I'm also feeling like my movements are a little different, but hes also hiccups at least once a day, sometimes 2-3 times! Been told this is nothing to worry about but made the mistake of googling it 🤦🏻‍♀️!

@Kirky658 wishing you all the best with your birth 💖 This has definitely been a wake up call for me! I don't feel like I'm ready to go in to labour yet! Xx

@Tokyo87 I find baby has hiccups at least once a day. Sometimes more. Midwife said it's totally normal x
