@Kirky658 what a time of it they're having but thank goodness all is well with baby.

We decided on a name ages ago when we found out we're having a girl. Our daughter's name is gaelic and this baby will have a gaelic name too. Really struggled with boys names and the one name my husband really likes for a boy I'm not so keen on so it's a good job we're not having a boy 🤣

@Sceptre86 sounds like you're definitely needing some rest and relaxation. Glad your growth scan went well.

I think we're pretty much set on a name, we keep saying we'll check and see if it suits her when she's born but we also keep calling her by the name and it's nicknames so I can't really imagine her as anything else now!

@AdventuresAwait we're the same, we asked my step daughter for her input so she'd feel included in it all. She actually came up with the name we've 99% decided on. Though she threw in another name the other day & now my husband is teetering, but I prefer the first one.

We've also picked a middle name, which is used in both families, but my mums abbot peeved as it comes from my dads side & not hers 😂 can't please everyone!

So pleased to hear all seems ok with your friend @Kirky658 ! Can't believe a lot of us aren't far off a similar gestation and cannot even imagine baby arriving now... all of a sudden feel very underprepared! PS. Alice is a lovely name, my bestie is called Alice ☺️

@SillyBry We're pretty set on the fact we will have a Dylan if it's a boy, so good choice! 😁 If it's a girl the two front runners at the moment are Holly or Jessica, or maybe a combination of the two since we don't have an alternative middle name picked out and I think they sound quite good together haha!

We can't decide a name at all! We had a girl's name and a boy's name picked. We found out he's a little boy but after some research found our chosen name is mega popular. Back to the drawing board...

We don't mind a popular name but would rather he isn't the 4th one in his class.

Ahh baby names are so hard, I always feel it’s such a big responsibility! We had soo many girl names ready, including Yasmin, Amaya, Nora. Had no boy names except for Adam which I’ve loved for years and years but we have a couple of very close friends called Adam so felt a bit weird. We finally decided on Zachariya! Not everyone loves it and some friends and families reaction has been hilarious but luckily doesn’t bother me. My older two kidsa love the name and hubby is happy too.

We were settled on our girls name, had to find one that is the same in German and English, we've not announced it yet but i can say it here, because the reason we're having second thoughts is because Prince Harry's nicked it! I think we'll stick with it, because I dont think it will rise in popularity over here, plus we've been calling her Lilly for a while now.

On GD, i start testing 4 times a day from tomorrow, the kit just arrived today, im not too worried, or should i say ive calmed down now, had a scan today and shes measuring spot on for 30 weeks, heartbeat is strong and healthy, plus my first result was fine, it was just the one after an hr that was high which they said could just be because no one normally drinks 75mg glucose straight off. Lets see how it goes!

And im now on mat leave, or my Dr has put me on a work ban, after all the stress with having to work in thr restaurant etc, we have ice hockey teams that have full board so if I do late or early shifts, either way I have to serve and carry and bend and lift, I tried it yesterday and ended up on my feet for 6 hrs, cue back ache and falling asleep as soon as I got in! Going to go shopping tomorrow and get cooking some GD friendly meals. Really feel I'm on countdown to the birth now!

So glad everyone approves, we felt it was such a lovely traditional name and so cute 😍

Can I ask of anyone has bought or had any recommendations for a baby changing backpack? I've looked on amazon and spoilt for choice...

@Kirky658 My baby changing backpack is my treat ‘to me from me’ 😂 and I got a Tiba and Marl… it’s lovely and really it can be used for years as a back back for days out/overnight stays etc. Ive ask heard Babymel and Packapod are good too!

@Kirky658 I'm struggling to find a decent baby changing bag too.

We have a shortlist of 6 names. We will not choose till he arrives though. I'm favouring one above the others but DH not deciding yet.

We haven't fully decided or told anyone IRL but think we are leaning towards Zach. W eliked a few names like Jake and Sam but seemed a bit weird as our neighbours that we get on well with have those names 🙈

Has anyone else been getting weird sensations quite low down - baby is breech and I'm starting to wonder if he's gone to a footing breech as all day I've been getting like sweeping type feelings really low down, below bump and it feels so uncomfortable

My midwife told me I’m breech but I’m feeling kicks high up? Just curious did your midwife tell you or was it through a scan?

@CherLW I’ve been eyeing up a tiba and marl bag too but really want to go into a store to see in real life as they look quite big but not sure if it’s that big in real life. I’m only 5ft 1 and quite slim
So don’t want something that looks ridiculous on my back lol

We have a shortlist of names too and I’m thinking we will wait until we meet her… although I do have a leaning towards one of them.

I’m also looking at changing bags. Thanks @CherLW for mentioning Tiba and Marl. I hadn’t seen those before. So nice! Initially I did say I would take a friends old bag from her but the more I’ve thought about it, I think I want to choose my own as I’ll be using it so much.

@Mamabearwhere @D0nut it’s really lovely, I got mine when it was 15% off too. I was worried it was pricey but I thought I’ll be using it so much and a baby I pack always comes in handy!

I’m not sure what store would sell them… I saw in John Lewis they had some babymel bags on display.

The Tiba and Marl also sell the pram clips which I got and it hangs on the handle bar nice

It looks as though selfridges and John Lewis stock some tiba and marl. Maybe not in store but likely free returns.

Ladies who have had the achy bumps....i have pain in the middle of my bump right under my boobs. Its like an ache rather than a pain but it's very uncomfortable. Baby is moving fine but it's worrying me a bit.

@Catkin7 last Wednesday the midwife said he was head down and I was feeling kicks high up, but on Sunday we went for a scan and he was breech with his legs over his face but the kicks were still highish - maybe around belly button level.

@Kirky658 I’ve had similar, like I have to stretch my back to relieve some pressure. I’m just assuming it’s things getting pushed up.

@cherlw you've hit the nail on the head there, if I stretch my back out it relieves the ache a bit!

@Kirky658 glad it helped a bit 😊 sometimes when I feel myself slouching I just stretch and it feels so much better! I guess just increasing the amount of room in there!

Annoyingly I need a changing bag that hubby would be prepared to use as well, so it can't look to feminine 😂 plus as lovely as some of those you suggested @CherLW were, I don't think I could justify the expense.

I've seen some reasonably priced ones on Amazon & my friend has got a babylion one that looks pretty good

@GWhiteley i got a pacapod in the sale a month or so ago and it was over half off so keep an eye out if you like those or the babymel ones as they often have sales! They are SO expensive though so not surprised they have to have sales.

I was wide awake at 3am so am exhausted today

The Babymel Robyn is the one I'll be going for eventually, but for the early days I feel obliged to use this sweet (but not what I wanted) Winnie the Pooh one my mum has bought for us 🙈😂
