Thanks ladies! So nothing but cellular blankets? Definitely need to read up more as my midwife is pretty useless.

@Kirky658, I got some nice cellular blankets from Next. Good price compared to others and they washed well.

@Taybz, we got the Tommee Tippee nappy bin so one that uses refills. I didn't know you could get them without.

Yes @Taybz, just a fitted sheet and cellular blanket. As @SP2Bx said, a lot are cellular with the small holes.

I love it but not sure it's cellular (will have to have another look) but looking forward to using it for baby to play on or when she's older in the pushchair etc.

Oh @FTEngineerM I do feel for you. I've had days where I've felt like that, especially a couple of times at work & ive just been sat at my desk with tears streaming down my face. Definitely a rollercoaster. Sending you a big hug xx

I never realised a lot of the sleeping bags were from 8-10lb 😬 we started using them from birth with my DD but she was nearly 9lb. Might get them out and have a check later in case we need to get some blankets.

@FTEngineerM yes!!!! had a BAD day yesterday, a good cry and a proper grump! feel fat and bloated and uncomfortable and like i cant do anything i want to that makes me feel like me! also am wearing the same pair of sports shorts all the time as only thing that fits in warm weather so i feel like a slob and when i go to work, i have nothing comfy to wear! I hate spending £ on maternity clothes, but ended up going on asda and ordering some - and then what tipped me over the edge was finding couldnt get delivery til the end of next week hahaha - drama queen!!!
Finally ordered our pram and car seat so waiting for those to arrive, we have at last made some progess!!!
31week appt next week yikes where is time going?!

I just hit third trimester today. 28 weeks. Bought some grow bags from Tommie tippee on offer with a discount code. Seems I'll need to look into sleeping though and also get some cellular blankets.

I definitely feel bigger, more round, slower too.

Wrt work they have managed to find me alternative work so I don't come into contact with staff or patients (I'm an optometrist). Basically I'll be stuck in a room on my own taking clinical and normal phonecalls. Boring. Tedious. But I won't be moving around much physically so that's a plus.

YES - the knickers, thats how i know my bum and hips are bigger as my nice well fitting pants are no more!!!
sorry about work :( glad they r taking it seriously tho and also if stops being so physical thats a good thing. Altho make sure u take breaks! im finding sitting down all day the worst, altho am uncomfortable actually walking really helps - i half wanna finish work asap and just keep walking my dogs all day somewhere!
hows everyone elses appetite? im defo not as hungry at the mo, food just doesnt have the same appeal now and defo cant squeeze in what i did before - have gone out for food on hols and asked for a kids portion for my sunday roast, and took half a pizza home for next day on another occasion!?
anyone else getting pummelled from the inside? there are some mighty kicks and punches being thrown! i wanna poke him back and say oi stop it haha.

@leftitlate37 My stomach in practically in my lung now, and baby has his feet right up against it so eating is a chore. Never thought I'd day that!

I hear ya @Noodles4Me! Hubby's like what do u want for dinner and I'm just a bit meh?! Usually well up for it! Despite this....im getting more fat appearing, so unfair innit!

@leftitlate37 thanks for the walking tip I'll definitely make sure I move around a lot and don't stay too stagnant! I also have less interest in food. I have interest. But can't finish as much at all and always have leftovers. Tummy has decreased for sure!

I have much less interest in food than I used to, just don't have the energy to cook really! But trying to keep healthy still.
Had a great delivery today of blankets, Sheets, loses basket mattress, got some nighties, baby socks, baby vests... Happy days 😍

I'm a bit behind most of you (I'll be 28 weeks on Monday) but I think I'm quite big for 27 weeks so really starting to feel it. My mum was huge with her pregnancies so I think I've got that coming for me 🙈

Been painting the nursery today as I wanted to get it done before I become incapable of moving around enough and it's super exciting. How are you all getting on with your nurseries?

I feet huge, my hyperpigmentation on my upper lip is back with vengeance this pregnancy so I’m super self conscious.

Will. All. Be. Worth. It! I keep repeating to myself 😂. Which pram did you go for? That’s super exciting, must feel like a bit of a relief ticking off some of the big items.

@Kirky658 me too on the lack of appetite, and I think I have heart burn?! Like a minging acidic burny feeling just under my boobs. Doesn’t last long though thank god.

@GWhiteley I got 2 grey cellular blankets off very.com. I think they are silent night and they were only £10 for the 2! I also found some reasonably priced in boots… I say this as I’ve seen some which are so expensive!!

@newmum110 I would recommend having the flu jab - I've got asthma so get it every year anyway, but they have said the strain is going to be very virulent this year due to not really having chance to spread next year.

DH has said we can get little girl an England shirt if we get to the finals 😜

Morning girls! Does anyone else have horrible crotch pain in the mornings and evenings? Poor little thing is so sore every day at these times! Is this pelvic girdle pain or something else?

@Taybz I was going to ask this on the fb group! I’ve had crotch pain most of today, sore to sit and generally feels quite swollen/full/bruised. No idea if it’s a sign of anything or maybe just everything getting bigger (story of my life 😂)
