It seems there are a lot of us approaching our scans at the moment. Mine is Friday- distractions of bank holiday weekend have helped it come that bit closer but 3 looong days at work to get through still. Xx

Goodluck with the scans today. And nice to hear some of you are starting to feel better (sorry to those still struggling). My symptoms faded before 10 weeks - still have a few food aversions but other than that ok.

Scan took more than 40min as baby was hiding and didn’t want to be in the right position :) Measuring 13w4d so due date moved to 3th of December!!!

I expect my due date will stay where it is as I had a scan at 9 weeks at the EPU, and it perfectly lines up with my ovulation date, but I'm really hoping to move forward a few days

Today I have felt almost normal. I am too excited to panic about it (this is amaaaazinggg) but still very nervous for my scan this week. I really hope the little fig is growing! Trying not to think about it, and to stay positive.

So exciting for all the scans :)

@Lindzers83 yes paracetamol is really the only thing. And maybe some tunes to sook but not strepsils

I also have a cold and it's been a bad one. My husband bought a nasal rinse thing and honestly it's been a god send. If anyone gets a bunged up nose in pregnancy I highly recommend it. it's been amazing at unblocking my nose when blowing/tissues just isn't doing a thing.

@AnonymousXXIX I've felt so much better the whole of the bank holiday weekend- been out for lovely (quite long) walks every day- still some nausea and tired by end of the day but all in all been nice to have just felt human again! Xx

My dating scan is 10 days away, seems like forever to wait. I’ll be 11 weeks tomorrow so will be 12+2 with the bigger twin at the scan and 11+6 with the smaller twin and hopefully they will get all the measurements they need for screening.

I may sound like an absolute loon here but I swear I felt movement this morning. It only lasted less than a minute and I think I only noticed it because I was lying in bed. As much as I would love that to have been the case I’m doubtful, this is my 5th pregnancy and I’m aware that you can feel things earlier in subsequent pregnancies, but even still this seems very early. The earliest I’ve definitely felt any of my babies is 14 weeks, and that was my 1st (I was tiny way back then which may have helped) looking back I remember having what felt like flutters before that but with it being my first I dismissed it. My second baby took a lot longer as I had an anterior placenta so nearer 17 weeks, and my youngest was around 15/16 weeks. I think it’s just wishful thinking to be honest, I would love nothing more than the reassurance of feeling them move about, especially after my loss. I’m going to keep an eye on it, but it was probably a muscle twitch or some other random thing 🙈

Looking forward to hearing how the scans went.

Lillygolightly I'm sure I've felt something as well! Also eleven weeks tomorrow. I would have put it down to gas but it feels just like the early movements I felt with my daughter. I wonder if it could be movement of the uterus as it grows? It seems way too early to feel anything!

I've been sat with my legs on the back of a chair for ages as I was feeling so lightheaded. Can't wait till all these first trimester symptoms start to fade (only to be replaced with the joys of the second and third trimester 🤣)

Got my scan 2 weeks tomorrow-feeling very anxious despite having had a scan at 6+3 and 8+5.

So jealous of all these scan dates when I havent even heard from my midwife with my booking appointment yet, surely I should have by now, I'm 10 weeks today!!!!

@gizmo167 Have you heard anything from them at all?

I know my hospital is busy so people are being booked in later, but at 10 weeks I’d give them a call just to make sure you haven’t been missed off a list.

@Pineapple87 ooh I'm not far behind you then, I should be 12+3 I think at my scan.
I'm still struggling with sickness. Had the last 2 days vomit free but now it's back with a vengeance. Not sure if it's the heat or not.

Scan was amazing, due date 5.12.

@Theawkwardblonde not good my sickness has completely gone I was quite lucky only was about 10 times but did feel sick for 4 weeks. Thought I was going to this morning but somehow I didn’t I feel more sick when I’m hot 🥵 and first thing in the morning I’m so hot X

@TakeYourFinalPosition nope, not a peep lovely, definitely going to give them a shout tomorrow!

Scan went well today although I've lost 2 days and am now due on the 10th x
