@Jinglebells87 that's great to hear all is well with the baby. Completely understand why you'd be nervous when you weren't expecting for that to happen tomorrow but you'll be absolutely fine !! So exciting

Normando91 · 04/06/2021 12:57

@AIRRRR I’m 37+5. How about you?! Yeah, I’ve been very lucky in that I haven’t been working for a while and am able to just relax so all the waters probably pooling at my feet/ankles 😂

@Jinglebells87 That’s so exciting but I’d be an absolute nervous wreck if I’d been told I was going in for induction the following day!! All the best and just think, you’ll be holding your baby so so soon 💕

AlRRRR · 04/06/2021 13:13

@Normando91 I’m 37 + 2, 2nd baby, I have a 4 yr old :)

Suite88 · 04/06/2021 14:55

Our baby boy arrived at just after 5 am this morning. It was a rather eventful birth but we are both doing well. We are besotted!

Nesski · 04/06/2021 16:30

@Suite88 congratulations, feel free to let us know what happened if you ever wanted to discuss!

@Jinglebells87 ooooh maaaa gahd, so excited for you!!! Xxx

Fishingforhappiness · 04/06/2021 16:59

Good luck @pookypup , wishing you a healthy baby and speedy recovery.
@AnxiousAnnie86 I had an emergency c section Sunday at 9am, and was discharged Monday at 12.00, as all checks were fine and she was feeding well... so can happen!
Recovery, is so much better today and finally starting to feel more human and less sore!

Jinglebells87 · 04/06/2021 17:38

I'm 40 + 2 and it's the second time I've been in for reduced movements. Both times he has been absolutely fine, no concerns at all but as I am now overdue they have offered me an induction. I decided to go ahead so that it is easier to plan with my other two kids and also I have so many family birthdays next week that I was trying to avoid giving birth on Grin.
I am so scared though as never had an induction before and so I feel completely out of my depth now!
Calling the hospital first thing tomorrow to get a time! Eeeek!

TerryRose · 04/06/2021 17:39

@Suite88 ahh congrats !!!! Well done ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm 38 weeks and 4 days, no signs of anything happening , it's my first , I feel like I'll definitely go over, I haven't felt any cramps or even braxton hicks, the only discomfort I have is turning in bed and trying to get out of bed but other than that all good but I kinda wish I could feel something 🤣 getting so impatient at the thought it could go on for another two/three weeks or so and it's funny because this time last week I was saying I would love to get to 40 weeks 🤣🙈

Sweetmad · 04/06/2021 17:45

@Suite88 congratulations! Xx

Jinglebells87 · 04/06/2021 18:00

@Suite88 Huge congratulations!! Enjoy all the lovely cuddles you are getting! Xx

Sitchervice · 04/06/2021 19:24

I keep getting cramps... 90% Sure its just me needing the loo but ya never know. I'm. V uncomfortable.

But I have SO much to so still and have no idea how I'm going to keep a tiny human alive what if it all goes horribly wrong!!

Surfermummytobe · 04/06/2021 20:10

I hope you ladies are keeping well!! My due date is tomorrow and I'm booked for a membrane sweep. Fingers crossed it won't be long before I meet our wee man!! Xx

Does anyone else get shooting pains in their cervix type area? Baby hasn't stopped moving at all all evening like not stopped at all, and I'm
Getting like shooting sharp pains?

AlRRRR · 04/06/2021 21:14

@AnxiousAnnie86 Oh yes!!!! Especially when trying to lay down (can’t side lay due to pain) Period type aches and cervical stabbing pains!

Today I fell through a low chair on the grass and with open legs straight onto the grass, liquid immediately came out so I went to get checked as I’d just been to the toilet , MW can’t say for sure what it was but cervix is closed 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What a funny thing to happen,

I’m 37 weeks btw

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/06/2021 21:18

@AlRRRR I've had the odd one but not for as long as this!!!! It's so so uncomfortable never felt anything like it!

You may of weed a little bit 🤭 xxx

AlRRRR · 04/06/2021 21:25

@AnxiousAnnie86 Yes I was totally ready for it to be wee but I’d only just been to toilet and it bloody gushed everywhere as I hit the ground hahahah so was so weird but was very funny!

They’re really uncomfortable aren’t they? Does changing position help?

Taylor1896 · 04/06/2021 21:31

Hey guys. Please can i join?
Currently 38+2, first baby, FED UP. Had irregular cramps for last 5 nights that arnt leading anywhere. Just so want my baby now im finding it very difficult to stay positive. Anyone else similar?

Fishingforhappiness · 04/06/2021 21:34

Congratulations @Suite88. If birth was eventful I would recommend asking for a birth debrief, most hospitals offer them. I'm going to book one tomorrow, I'm hoping it will help me understand what happend and why to put my little mind at ease

ChasingARainbow · 04/06/2021 21:52

@Sitchervice I started having some cramping and back ache last night, it eased with a bath and had started again tonight.
39+1 so hopefully not too long now

pookypup · 04/06/2021 22:09

Congratulations @Suite88, hope you are both doing well.

pookypup · 04/06/2021 22:10

my baby arrived today too, a little girl.

Planned section which went really smoothly, we are both doing well. Just waiting for the midwife to mobilise me in 20mins!

Sitchervice · 04/06/2021 22:16

@Taylor1896 cramps here too. Very uncomfortable just need to rest! I called midwife who said latent labour can last weeks 😭

AlRRRR · 04/06/2021 22:17

@pookypup congrats!! :)

Sitchervice · 04/06/2021 22:25

Congratulations to those who have had their bababs already, hopefully we arnt tooo far behind.

I'll update Monday as I have a chat with the obstertrition. I might get an induction date! Unless of course these cramps do turn out to be real labour.
