Hello @AIRRRR
I am good thank you, little boy was born on the 23 april, 6 weeks and 2 days early. He spent 12 days in scbu and was home with us. He is amazing! What a rollercoaster of a pregnancy but here we are so thankful for this amazing human.

How are you doing? Xx

@Waitingforbabypage another baby on the way very soon then!! ❤️❤️

@strawberryplum993 I think you should be able to go ahead with your elective even if she has turned, is that what you want to do?

I am so flipping happy for all of you who have had your babies! It's so lovely to see the announcements!

Happy due date to me! Had a growth scan this morning, she hasn't put weight on so I got sent to the day unit to just have a check over. My bp was a little high and after being on the monitor they could see we had a few little dips. So....I'm currently on a ward after a stretch and sweep and pessary inserted in for the long haul. The doc doesn't want me to go home until I have a baby.

Hey everyone! Congrats on all the new arrivals.
I’m a little behind most of you as due very end of June but turn 37 weeks tomorrow.

Have been scheduled for ELCS at 39 + 1 due to baby being breech but have also been told I’ll be scanned on the day to see if she is still breech and whether they should go ahead with the section.

Feeling v nervous about baby coming before this date and the thought of them cancelling the section if she has turned after I’ve prepared myself for it but just trying to stay positive!

So exciting to see so many babies from this thread now being born!

@fluffybunny86 I’m struggling at 37+3 days with walking / moving around, didn’t happen with 1st baby, but the tiredness and pubic pain is awful!! So can’t imagine how you’re feeling!

My MW said I can have a sweep at 40 week app if I like 🤣🤣Urm, like? Well go on then, first baby contractions started 39+6 and she was born at 40
weeks

AlRRRR · 07/06/2021 11:01

@PinkPlantCase I know it sounds odd but believe me, you’ll know when contractions start as they’re so different to the awful stabbing pains you get from baby moving around!!!

Hey everyone, 41+3 today and still no signs. Really frustrated now as for the last week or two been having difficulty doing some normal things. Dont feel comfortable taking our 1yr old dog for a walk by myself and struggling to bend while cleaning. Really glad now that I didnt start Mat leave till my due date.

Hope we all get to meet our little ones soon

I’m 39+6 as well, FTM Smile it is starting to feel a bit like we’re just waiting for baby now.

I woke up with some period pains in the night but I wouldn’t say they were like contractions at all and certainly no regularity to it. Hopefully a good sign that things will happen in the next week though! Trying to claw back the sleep now that I lost between 2am and 5am.

I see the midwife today, I think they’ll just do blood pressure and check babies heart rate.

I’ll check in with them again at 41 weeks and they might do so massage/reflexology and then I have an appointment for a sweep pencilled in for 41+5 if I need it.

Part of me is worried that I won’t know what contractions feel like when they happen, especially as baby moved around a lot and that can be uncomfortable anyway but I’m also fairly sure that it’s something that you do really know when it’s really happening 😂

@Sitchervice Hoping you get your induction as that sounds painful!!!

@MimiDaisy11 Oooooo so not long!! I have always eaten dates and drank RL tea in my diet for years and years and It’s not made any difference to my pregnancy so I don’t think they really do anything haha

Ooooo 1 day to go!! Exciting!!

Sitchervice · 07/06/2021 09:30

38+4 I might get my induction date today. Ended up at delivery suite last night as feet so swollen I can hardly walk and was sick. They said I'm being really effected by heat and might get my induction sooner than my due date! Who knows I'll update later.

Also I think we are running out of pages already on this thread!!

I'm 39+6 - so only one day to go apparently! I had a few twinges last night and feel slightly more pressure when I go on walks but generally feel fine. I'm pretty sure I'll make it to midwife appointment on Friday.

I'm drinking raspberry tea too but I sometimes forget and just have one cup. I also gave up on eating dates as I got ones I don't like so much and they're too sweet for me. I guess baby will just come when he/she feels like it.

AlRRRR · 07/06/2021 08:50

@Humpty11 Re the tea, I drink it anyway when not pregnant but usually only 1 cup a day because it’s high in vit C but yea I agree, the body will do what it wants to do when it wants to do it 🤣😂🤣🤣

Yes it seems bigger babies can also come
out nice and lovely! Was your 1st ‘on time’

Congratulations to all who’ve had their babies 😍. I hope you’re all home and enjoying your new bundles ♥️.
@AIRRRR I’m 39+5 and absolutely zero twinges or anything else to indicate anything might happen soon. I had cramps a couple of weeks ago but ended up being treated for a UTI so think mine was down to that. I’ve not bothered with drinking any raspberry leaf tea or any other tips to bring on labour because I figure she’ll come when she wants to whether I do any of that or not 🤣. I’ve got a midwife appointment tomorrow and not sure whether to expect a sweep or anything. Googling seems to give a mixed response for second babies, some say it’ll be offered at 40 weeks and others say 41 weeks so we shall see!
I’m terrified of having to birth a massive baby because my son was 7lb14oz at 38+1 but reading some of the births of the last few days on here, it would seem that bigger babies don’t necessarily mean difficult births!

So exciting seeing all these babies be born!

What week are the rest of everyone on and how are you feeling?

I’m 37 wks + 3, 2nd baby, drinking Raspberry tea 2/3 times a day :) Lots of pressure and period type cramps on and off
