@Mamabearwhere and @Kirky658 glad it isn't just me with the vivid dreams it's crazy isn't it! Before I was pregnant I could hardly even remember any of my dreams but recently they have felt so real! We are also in the process of buying a house too at the moment and I dreamt something with the sale went wrong and I woke up visibly angry it just felt so real and I couldn't shake it off all day! 🙄

@Scotti84 I know what you mean about movements I think I've felt them a couple of times but really can't be sure it isn't just my stomach settling! Very unnerving!

Noodles4Me · 12/04/2021 10:47

Had the 20 werk scan this morning. All good thankfully. Baby nestled in pelvis but did eventually cooperate - very relieved. Half way there now Grin

unicornpower · 12/04/2021 11:14

Congratulations @Hopefulmummie Grin fabulous news ❤

Mamabearwhere · 12/04/2021 11:19

@Noodles4Me so pleased for you that everything went well at your scan. Mine is over 3 weeks away on 6th may. Feels like ages to wait!

CherylLW · 12/04/2021 11:20

@Hopefulmummie what a lovely photo 💗 congratulations on you’re little lady 💕

@Noodles4Me so glad your 20 week scan went well, did they do a good check and things too? I have mine Friday and not sure what to expect other than them having a look. It’s so crazy to think it’s half way!!

Noodles4Me · 12/04/2021 12:09

@CherylLW yes, it's very detailed, in there full half hour. Measured head, nose and mouth check, through the heart, belly and abdomen, waist circumference, then lengthy of arms and legs, and checked his willy again Blush

He's right in the average on the growth scan which is great Bear

Kirky658 · 12/04/2021 12:35

@bubbles1st ahh glad you could listen to the heartbeat too! Lovely. I've been getting weird like bubbling or rippling sensations in my belly so I think it might be bub saying hi! Ahh that makes sense, I'm 5"2 so not exactly tall 😅

Poppins2016 · 12/04/2021 12:58

@CherylLW for nursing bras, you could try The Nursing Bra Shop a friend recommended the website after I complained about not being able to find pretty (or indeed sexy!) nursing bras. They have a wide range of styles and sizes.

@Taybz I went on maternity leave at 39+2 with my first. This time I'm planning on going at 38+5. It seems late to many people, however I had a very easy first pregnancy and this one seems to be similar. Everyone is different!

That's great @Noodles4Me!

Yes @Scotti84, I really want to know if what I'm feeling is baby moving or not! Will feel much better when I know for sure...

bewitchingnight · 12/04/2021 13:11

Wow loads of news this morning!

@Hopefulmummie congrats and love the photo!

@CobleCloud yes I'm having really vivid dreams too, luckily not bad just completely bizzare and sometimes I wake up feeling tired out from it!

@Scotti84 I know what you mean, I've had a few instances where I've thought maybe that is the baby moving, usually just as I'm going to sleep... but equally it could also just be digestion?!

@Noodles4Me lovely, so glad the scan went well, I can't wait to have mine (10 days to go!) Did you get a lot of good views of the baby when the scan was a bit longer than the 12 week one?

Hopefulmummie · 12/04/2021 13:31

Thank you everyone :) still can't believe it.. Makes it seem more real.

Is anyone else finding out the gender soon?

SP2Bx · 12/04/2021 13:33

Oh @Noodles4Me that scan sounds like it was wonderful, I'm so excited for mine... which is also 6th May @Mamabearwhere !

Glad your midwife appt went well @Bubbles1st and you got to have a listen, and that you've sorted one @Scotti84, that must be a huge relief!

Squibble84 · 12/04/2021 13:34

@Noodles4Me so glad your 20 week scan went well! Must be a great relief to know all is ok!

I’m absolutely bricking it about mine next Monday, the length of time they spend measuring all of the baby’s head, limbs and organs makes me super anxious, I can’t bear the silence whilst they’re taking all the measurements!!

Bubbles1st · 12/04/2021 14:03

@Hopefulmummie we have already found out, but I couldn't believe how exciting it was, almost like finding out we having a baby all over again!
It's only been a week but I feel like we talk about him so differently know we know he is a he

Scotti84 · 12/04/2021 14:08

@Squibble84 mine is next Wednesday and im also bricking it slightly. Not only because its not my normal dr that's doing it, but because obviously they speak in German, which i do understand but the technical terms aren't easy to remember, they have said I can phone my OH so he can hear and I dont have to try and remember but I'm gonna try video call him so he can see the scan too. It's mildly terrifying doing the scans alone.

@SP2Bx it's such a relief! Just spoke to her and she goes on holiday on the 26th Sept but I'll just get as much info from her as I can and hope baby doesn't come too late.

Hopefulmummie · 12/04/2021 14:43

@Bubbles1st I know it really is I have felt the same. Just got more exciting :) and can't wait to start buying clothes now lol

crobo87 · 12/04/2021 14:46

Congrats @Hopefulmummie
I have my private scan on Wednesday. I'm very excited to find out what it is!!

Does anyone else find they have lots of stretching/growing pains in their stomach at the moment? I'm 16 +2 at the minute x

Rach921 · 12/04/2021 14:59

Hey ladies. Hope you’re all ok. I had my 16 week midwife appointment this morning and I got to hear the heartbeat which was amazing ☺️ I’ve got a scan on Saturday to find out the gender.

The last few nights I can decide if I’ve been able to feel movement or not (16+4) it’s only when I lay still later in the evening so it may just be gas 😂 was reassuring to hear the heartbeat though today ❤️

Mamabearwhere · 12/04/2021 15:11

@SP2Bx aw yay scan twins!

crobo87 · 12/04/2021 15:11

@Rach921 that's when I tend to feel it too, more later in the evenings. They don't do heartbeats at the 16 week appointment here Sad but I have a scan Wednesday which I'm excited for.

My midwife appointment isn't till next week when I'll be nearly 18 weeks 🙈

CherylLW · 12/04/2021 15:17

@Noodles4Me that sounds amazing, I didn’t know how in-depth they went! So glad all is ok with your babe and right on track for size 😊

Thanks @Poppins2016 I’ll have a look on there and see what I can find. 😊

I’ve definitely felt movements but now I’m just worried as they aren’t there as often as I would like! Mainly at night when I relax in bed and sometimes if I wake in the night too... then just the odd one morning time.

Anyone had or having their whooping cough jab? They said I would have mine at my 20 week scan!

Rach921 · 12/04/2021 15:23

@SP2Bx @Mamabearwhere my scan is also 6 May ❤️

@crobo87 I’m glad you’ve got your scan Wednesday. It’s so strange how different trusts do different things at the appointments

@CherylLW I was advised I’d need to call my dr for the whooping cough jab.

@Noodles4Me that’s amazing how in depth the 20 week scan was. I’m so pleased it was all ok

bewitchingnight · 12/04/2021 15:38

@CherylLW I think I have to book mine at the GP after 20 weeks. That's good you get yours out of the way at the scan, saves another appointment!

Kirky658 · 12/04/2021 15:40

@cheryllw I will be having it midwife said would be after my 20 week scan. Glad you reminded me though!
@rach921 I felt something yesterday evening, wasn't sure if it was wind, but it was like a bubbly feeling and ripples in my tummy! Apparently you're more likely to feel it when you're sitting down and relaxed ❤️ I said to my DH today, I'll feel more relieved when I feel kicks and know all is well lol xx

Poppins2016 · 12/04/2021 15:42

I've felt movements for a little while now (19+2, second baby), but they're very intermittent... having said that, it was like baby was having a party in there last night! I've also had really bizarre 'tickling' sensations resulting from the movements, which I remember having with my first baby, but not as intense! Wondering whether I'm more sensitive/aware of it because it's my second...
