Following on from the first thread which is nearly full, here we are with another thread to keep us going through the first trimester and beyond.

Welcome . I'm Alack, currently 8+something with twins, due 2 November but likely to make an early appearance. Also have DD (3).

Currently on the group we mostly seem to be food-averse insomniacs who just want a nap, so here's hoping for some pregnancy glow! And less anxiety as the weeks go on.

Hi I said hello on the last thread but thought I’d pop over here.
7+6 woth a EDD of 9th November.
I already have a 3 year old and do not remember the nausea lasting ALLDAY - also very upset that the thought of chocolate and cake is making me feel sick as Easter is my favourite time of the year 💔
Booking appointment is next week - can’t actually remember what happens there, other than it taking forever! Do I take wee in a pot?!

Hope you are ok @sunbird24 take care of yourself. Anyone else mild cramping quite alot? And said i was going to be calm... what a joke hahah took a CB digital it says 2-3 so now I'm panicking im only 5+1 anyway so everything could be ok couldn't it? Thought I'd have 3+ by now though.. why do I do this to myself! And putting off ringing midwife until next week and going to book a scan for 8 weeks but darent book it yet..

@Needingsupportplease how reliable do you think the clear blue dates are? Mine said 2-3 weeks when I tested but wondering if it's more given the bump I have already! This is all I have to go on.

CB dates aren't that reliable, if you look at the averages of HCG based on weeks pregnant, you could easily be lower than the CB threshold for 3+ weeks and still go on to have a healthy pregnancy. I've attached pic for reference

@Needingsupportplease that’s why I haven’t done my second one as I’m worried about how I’ll feel if it gives a result I wasn’t expecting. My experience of CB digital ovulation kits is they didn’t work so I’m not risking my sanity on it, nor should you 😀Ignore it and focus on a scan at 8 weeks! Xxxx

Hi everyone!

I have been reading this thread since it started. Just decided to join in and share my experience.

I am pregnant with DD number 3. I already have two girls (4 and 6). I do feel so nauseous all day since around 5 days ago. Also having naps in the day as often as I can. I never had this so went to a private scan on Saturday to find out whether I was having 2 (I am a non identical twin). Only one, phew... So just waiting to see when this sickness goes away and I can get excited about the new baby again.

Due Date 22 of November.

Just to add some info. Baby is measuring the right size. I got a 3+ on my 5 week after my last period.

@Needingsupportplease, I am also 5.1 and experiencing cramping, mainly in the evening. Like @PinkElephant7 I have quite a bump in the evening, wish I was further along than I was cos I fear I’ll be huge soon and won’t be able to hide it. I’m usually a size 8 top so it won’t take long if I continue but the midwife said it’s just bloating 😩

And I imagine baby will come in December as DD1 was 13 days late and DD2 was 17 days late. {shock]

@pinkelephant7 not a clue hopefully not very. Thanks @dizsquiz that worries me abit more though, I got my first positive at 8dpo ages ago and it doubles every 48hrs so I should be in the right category now. Fingers crossed its not bad news again couldn't deal with a third I dont think. Ill wait a few days and try again with fmu. Good to know its not just me @happygolucky20 getting dull aches but then they go and sometimes little niggles in my ovary which I'm guessing i ovulated from and I've had this in all pregnancys previously.. guessing I'll just wait and see and hope!

@Needingsupportplease no problem, I'd atleast wait until 21/22 dpo to retest with the weeks indicator (if your going to) that's then 3 weeks since conception and should give the 3+

@Needingsupportplease completely! I'm glad I'm not working in an office right now. I'm hoping to wait until 20 weeks before I tell work but the way I'm looking right now, it will be obvious before then to anyone I actually see 😂

Thanks @dizsquiz that's tomorrow or day after but I'll wait a few so I dont stress myself out. Welcome @lucerito sorry to hear about your loss of your twins fingers crossed for you. I'm also a size 8 and look big all over already I must hold water because my last pregnancy at 5 weeks i was really swollen haha!! I didnt tell anyone last time until 20 weeks after our losses, spesh the one at 14 weeks so unsure what we'll do this time. Probably at 12 with covid so I can be kept safe at work (primary school) may tell boss after my private scan x

Hey @lucerito welcome! Very sorry to hear about your losses. A number of us are pregnant following a MC and it unfortunately does make for an anxious time at this stage. Fingers crossed for a smooth first trimester.

@pineapple2021 I have the same, started out of nowhere a few days ago. Weirdly citrusy things like lemonade, tangerines etc seem to help.

Morning ladies! I'm just 5 weeks along and the nausea is chronic 😭. It's much much earlier than last time but all I have to compare to is an MMC where baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. However I'm pretty sure from memory my sickness didn't take hold until about 7 weeks last time. I ended up testing at 11dpo as I felt so nauseous this time and it was positive. I suppose I'm asking has anyone else felt this sick this early? I'm worried it's a sign that it's going to get really bad for me!
