Following on from the first thread which is nearly full, here we are with another thread to keep us going through the first trimester and beyond.

Welcome . I'm Alack, currently 8+something with twins, due 2 November but likely to make an early appearance. Also have DD (3).

Currently on the group we mostly seem to be food-averse insomniacs who just want a nap, so here's hoping for some pregnancy glow! And less anxiety as the weeks go on.

Hi ladies 🌸. I hope you don’t mind me joining.

I’ve had a bit of a rough ride with on/off bleeding during this pregnancy which finally has seemed to settle. Last scan was at 9 weeks and all was fine. I took some time off MN as I just had no faith in this pregnancy whatsoever and felt it was destined to end badly. Previous mc at 8 weeks. 12 weeks today, scan on Friday. I am honestly so frightened and just want to chat to ladies around the same mark for company :) but reading/seeing all of your wonderful scan pictures is filling me with hope xxxx

@lboogy yes the tiredness and insomnia are really horrible - I had little appreciation of this aspect of pregnancy before. And waking up and feeling barely less tired. Hopefully the second trimester will feel better and is not long away. All the best with your twins :)

@summersun001 welcome, so sorry you have had such a difficult time so far, but is good news it has settled. All the very best with your scan on Friday, all the waiting is so difficult.

Anyone with morning sickness been prescribed something for it by a doctor?

I’ll be 12 weeks Friday and no sign of it easing. I can keep food down from about midday until I go to bed but before that I’m throwing up about 6 times a morning on average.

@Hannah94L I'm 14 weeks and still in the thick of it (with twins, mind). Have a GP appointment on Thursday to ask for meds because I'm really hitting my limit now.

@Summersun001 I understand, I had bleeding, 12 week scan is today. It's so hard to live with the not knowing! Schroedingers fetus.

Thanks @EssentialHummus, found out at 7 weeks it’s triplets for me so fully expecting it to carry on past 12 weeks.

I ended up speaking with my GP shortly after and have been given a prescription for cyclizine. Hope that eases it

@vixey little personality on them already, love it - think you're going to have your hands full with that one! DS was very disgruntled whenever he was prodded during an ultrasound or doppler, kicked back like a whack-a-mole chasing it around haha.

Hi everyone :) I’m 13+3 due November 6th and still suffering with extreme hyperemasis! Got back from the hospital at the weekend as Iv been on IV fluids :( can’t really enjoy my pregnancy just yet! Had it first time around with my little girl and it stopped bang on 15 weeks hoping the same happens again, anyone else struggling? Xx

Anyway just to update, one very bouncy, or as the sonographer put it, thrashing around baby die 13/11 - takes after its mother and is very much not a morning person!

Was mixed emotions as my partner and I had had a private scan a few weeks ago and had found out twins. Sadly now only a singleton but trying to look at the positives!

Hope all has gone well today for the other ladies and their scans today xx

@Aisforharlot I have no clue about the nub theory. Don't even know where it is! I'm
convinced I'm having a boy though.

Anyone got baby brain already?
I couldn't remember the name for dandelions and called them 'not daffodils', I keep calling ds my brother's name, and various other slips ups!

@crazybabylady14 I hope you are doing okay. Very sorry about your twin. Sounds like you have a very lively one there, due on the same day as me.

My scan isn’t until Monday, I should be 12 weeks today but my scan at 10 weeks pushed me back a few days, although she did say they can’t be totally accurate until the 12 week scan which isn’t until Monday.

Clinging to the 12 week mark as being the end of the nausea and sickness. Although it is easing in that it’s not all day every day now I had the worst day ever over the weekend. Really hoping that’s it!

Morning! Thanks for the kind comments, yes am doing ok, trying to be pragmatic and focus on the good regarding the other baby. Sonographer said that I won't get tested for Edwards/Pataus as the presence of the other effects the blood readings, but the nuchal measurement for downs was only 0.9mm which she said was very good.

I’m due mid November I had my 12 week scan yesterday when I was 12+1
I already have two little boys and would love a girl or another boy! I was so excited to see this little one!

Thank you ladies. Two more days. Really filling myself with worry this morning. I need to chill out!!!! Xxx

Had my scan today puts me at 11+5 so due on 19/11.
Now it feels real!
Baby was being very awkward during the scan so seemed to take ages but got extra time to see this little one.
Baby quite likes to lay on its side 🤣 x

Hi November mums to be! I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant the sickness has started to ease which is good as I’ve piled on weight eating constantly just to easy the sickness x

Hi all, I'm due on 22nd November. Currently 12+2 according to LMP, have my 12 week scan next Thursday. I'm not sure if I've posted here before but I lost my last baby at 21 weeks 4 years ago due to Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia so I'm literally on edge. Thought I'd get some more scans but the midwife was pretty relaxed and didn't seem to think it would happen again. However doesn't mean I'm at ease because now I'm worried about everything else that could go wrong 😂

Anyway sorry to ramble! Hope everyone is okay xx
