I'm probably one of the first to find out, as there are no other chats! Based off of last period I'm due December 2nd! Got my first positive early at 9dpo.
Anyone else with me yet???

I'm also holding off joining the FB group, just until this pregnancy feels a bit more safe and secure. Hopefully I'll be able to join you a little later down the line 😊

marcella64 · 30/03/2021 19:35

I'm quite happy just floating around on here for now till I know I'm safe with this one x

wannabemum38 · 30/03/2021 19:46

Hope.its ok to join and think I might pop into Facebook if its totally private.
My AF was due on Saturday and I had a feeling I was pregnant but didn't want to believe it. I took a test at 6am this morning and lo and behold two lines. According to due date calculator im due on 5th December and currently 4+2
My nan passed away in February and we had funeral last week I feel like it's her gift to me as I thought I would not be able to have kids as had tests and my egg reserve levels weren't good. Was waiting on an appointment at hospital further tests.
I also had a MC 20 years ago at 9 weeks so really worried now. Might book in for a viability scan at 8 or 9 weeks if I can hold out that long!
Oh and to add even more to mix me and the father arent together and I dont want him to have anything to do with baby. Lol feels good to let it out cant tell anyone yet.

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping it's ok to join. I got my first squinter of a BFP on the 19th March at 8DPO and I'm 5 weeks tomorrow! EDD is the 1st of December based of ovulation.

I only had my implant removed early Feb and didn't have a withdrawal bleed inbetween removal and my BFP so it still doesn't feel real!

Only problem is I've been getting quite bad cramping for the past week or so (it's even been waking me up at night). Has anyone else had this?

It's lovely to see so many of us already! Xx

Horehound · 30/03/2021 20:02

Congrats to all new posters :)

Sorry to hear of the miscarriages but I'm sure everything will be good this time :)

I'm going to tell my parents after my scan in two weeks time.
I'm married, 34, have a lovely house etc and when I told them I was pregnant the first time they first said "you're not are you?!" Lol Grin so I'm sure this one they will be slightly more prepared for...I hope!!

Horehound · 30/03/2021 20:38

Oh I'm not Gona join the FB group. I prefer these boards and also was about to delete my FB account haha
So if anyone else is not wanting to go to FB I'll always be here :)

lucea87 · 30/03/2021 20:39

@MsRT congrats!xx
I've had cramping pretty much until the weekend quite badly, it was so bad last week I was worried AF was going to show. I've found that if I move around more it eases. It's not been so bad it's woken me in the night but it's been enough to worry me. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow, I'd say they've come back a bit today but not as bad and I didn't feel any at all yesterday. I've read that it's really common to have cramps right through your first trimester and that it's fine as long as there's no bleeding. I'm sure the non first time mums will be able to share experiences too xxx

flowersatthecastle · 30/03/2021 20:48

@MsRT I had cramping with my first pregnancy although not as bad as you're describing, I wasn't waking at night. Convinced myself it was ectopic (cheers Dr Google) so went for an early scan. Turns out cramping is very normal and everything was fine. And I'm having cramps again this time round. The womb must be on the move!

Arthien · 30/03/2021 21:08

Evening ladies! I'll join the FB group when I'm a bit further out of the danger zone I think. I had my booking in appointment letter today, but it's not clear if my DH should come with me or not. Also booked an early scan for when I'm 8 weeks, I can't wait 🥰

Arthien · 30/03/2021 21:09

Has anyone else had a bad headache as a symptom? I've been trying to avoid taking anything but had to resort to paracetamol as it was making me feel so sick. Hoping it's not going to be a daily occurrence!

Starla268 · 30/03/2021 21:28

Hi all!
I got a positive test about two weeks ago, haven’t been tracking but think I will be due early December. I had an amazing mumsnet group that is still going strong for my last pregnancy so hoping to get the same this time around! I see there is a Facebook group already set up so I’ll hop over to there as I find that much easier to keep up with than me long thread!

Congratulations to all!

Horehound · 30/03/2021 21:28

I have had headaches daily but not so bad as to having to taken anything. I usually get bad headaches around period time so I guess it is a hormone thing.

@MsRT yep with my first I had such a sore side I booked an early scan convinced I was having an ectopic. I wasn't and all was ok. It's probably just your ligaments stretching and preparing but if you are worried call the EPU

Poptart90 · 30/03/2021 21:46

@Arthien yep I've been getting headaches too, had to take paracetamol today. I'd usually put it down to dehydration, but I'm drinking SO much water atm it can't be that!

Arthien · 30/03/2021 21:55

@Poptart90 that's reassuring that I'm not the only one suffering. I never expected headaches to be a symptom, and as you say, especially not when drinking so much! At least paracetamol is a safe option.

Arthien · 30/03/2021 21:57

So weird to think at some point this week (possibly already) I will have two heartbeats 💗 Hoping that's all it is though, I'm getting strong lines even on cheap strip tests now so DH keeps joking it must be twins 🙈

wannabemum38 · 30/03/2021 22:01

My wisdom tooth was playing up all weekend which it hasn't done for a very long time and had bad indigestion aswell. I feel like I've got period cramps today a little and went for a long walk today and now my back is killing me is that normal?

Arthien · 30/03/2021 22:12

@wannabemum38 tooth ache, back ache and lower stomach ache all sound very familiar to me! Speak to your GP or dentist if any of it gets too painful though.

wannabemum38 · 30/03/2021 22:19

@Arthien thanks its a dull ache and tooth ache is subsiding luckily. Its all such a strange feeling.

Mrsmujic · 30/03/2021 22:30

Hi girls, I've got a positive test 🙂 hoping for early December baby 🍀👣 X

Laurajoanne · 31/03/2021 07:39

Hi ladies can I join. I've had my big fat positive yesterday still really nervous as it's soooo early. Will be due 10th December which is 3 days after my 7year old daughters birthday can't believe I timed it so well. Xx

marcella64 · 31/03/2021 07:52

Morning all, done my second cb digi this morning, got my 3+.... Fuck I think I might actually be pregnant 🙈

Due December 2021 thread!
marcella64 · 31/03/2021 07:54

Congratulations @Laurajoanne. My DS is 7 the same week I'm due! December just got a whole lot crazier! How are you feeling? X

sarby21 · 31/03/2021 07:56

@marcella64 eeep! Congrats that’s so exciting! I’m 5+2 but haven’t tried again yet for my CB digital. I got 2-3 weeks last time!

sarby21 · 31/03/2021 07:56

@Laurajoanne of course you can! Link is above xx

marcella64 · 31/03/2021 08:02

@sarby21 I'm 5+1 so so pleased it's gone to 3 👏 Hopefully it's another sunny day here.

Does anyone know how high hormones need to be for a 3+? I've read it's around 2000 x
