Omg @Kirky658 I'm on the tangfastic hype too!!! I buy a bag of those and the 5 for £1 pick n mix bags from Asda, all fizzy like the rainbow belts and strawberry pencils, and fill up a tub at home for a constant supply! 😂

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 12:41

@sp2bx oh god don't... I've also ordered some monster munch on the Tesco delivery, just want to constantly eat rubbish! I seem to get my five a day consistently in the week then maybe 3 a day at the weekend so it's more than before I was pregnant 😅

SP2Bx · 16/03/2021 13:04

@Kirky658 I'm the same, just beige stodge mostly. Struggle to eat much in the evenings as just get so full, but we got Indian takeaway at the weekend and I just ordered a saag aloo 😅 that's about as far as my "5 a day" goes at the moment lol.

FTEngineerM · 16/03/2021 13:07

NHS tells you that you don't need extra calories till the 3rd trimester

PERSONAL ATTACK
😂 the NHS has no idea how much I need salt and vinegar discos, thanks. Oooo or pickled onion Monster much yeah.

I do if I remember but to be honest I don’t think I do it right because as soon as I’m pregnant I pee when I sneeze anyway🤷🏽‍♀️ I need warning for sneezes now.

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 13:21

@ftengineerm totally agree on the calories hun I'm holding a vendetta against them 🤣🤣 anyway I'm still running and burning more calories than normal so sod it!

mumof23188 · 16/03/2021 13:54

Hi all can I join? I’m due baby number 3 on the 9th September ☺️. 14+5 today. Agree about the extra calories. I cannot stop eating atm. 🤣

This!

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 15:00

@mumof23188 hiya! You're a bit ahead of me I'm 13+6 today 😊 Welcome!

@ftengineerm now I'm totally craving monster munch.

I have literally no idea how much weight I've put on. When the midwife weighed me at booking I was 1kg under what my scales said so I think I've put about 2kg on since then which was 9 weeks... Woopsie!

RaeRae84 · 16/03/2021 15:16

@Geegee20 with you on the lack of energy and struggling to get out of bed. I'm 16 weeks Thurs and I thought I would be pretty much back to normal now. I'm tired all the time and it's making me extra moody 🙈
Definitely still eating the extra calories too. Half of the things they say must be written by people who haven't been pregnant and don't get the absolute need for crisps!!

Rach921 · 16/03/2021 15:21

@Sillysocks998 I spoke too soon. Sickness has come back with a vengeance today!

Noodles4Me · 16/03/2021 15:38

I've always been a crisp eater to be fair. I'm currently obsessed with ice lollies. Red Berry solero to be specific.

AdventuresAwait · 16/03/2021 15:47

@Kirky658, I've been doing some pelvic floor exercises but really need to start doing them regularly.

@mumof23188, welcome & congratulations! I'm due on 9th September too! (First baby). How are you doing?

Geegee20 · 16/03/2021 16:05

@RaeRae84 i am only 12+1 with my 4th, but I thought getting to the 2nd trimester you start feeling abit better, I csnt dementia my.youngest is nearly 4 haha. But I suppose everything is different each time. I'm hoping I start to pick up I feel so lazy past week. And been napping in the day, I havnt dnt that since I found out and the week or 2 before I found out xx

RaeRae84 · 16/03/2021 16:24

@Geegee20 wow 4! I don't know how you have done it. I'm sticking with one, I'm definitely not cut out for pregnancy! I prayed for the end of the first trimester and thought it would all radically change for me but other than my sickness going (which I'm very grateful for) all my symptoms are the same. I'm really struggling at work as I just want to sleep. How you are coping looking after 3 children, I'm in awe!

CherylLW · 16/03/2021 16:28

Hey ladies, I’ll stay on here as I also don’t have FB!

I have had the worse waves of nausea today since I’ve been pregnant, it’s not been fun... I hope it was just a one off and I just needed something to eat!

@Kirky658 I’m similar to you with fizzy sweets! I have packets of refreshers in all of my pockets, coats, car as they seem to distract me from the sicky feeling!

Anyone got their 16 week midwife appointment coming up? Mines next Thursday and I’m starting to feel nervous!

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 16:48

@cheryllw glad it's not just me with the fizzy Sweeties lol. I have my 16 week check on the 1st April so still 2 weeks away 😔 I am nervous though.

bewitchingnight · 16/03/2021 16:52

The trouble with my midwife appointments so far is that I can never think of things to ask until afterwards! They must think I'm very blasé about pregnancy.

I think sometimes they listen for the heartbeat at the 16 week appointment? That'll be exciting. Mine isn't for a couple of weeks.

AdventuresAwait · 16/03/2021 16:53

@CherylLW, yes I have my 16 week appointment next Friday! Not sure what to expect...

RaeRae84 · 16/03/2021 17:05

@CherylLW yes I've got mine on Thursday this week. Don't know if I'm meant to go prepared with anything?! The only thing I know is you get to hear the HB.

SP2Bx · 16/03/2021 17:09

@bewitchingnight Do you have the bounty app? You can put your appointments in and there's a "things I want to ask" section which might be helpful!

I'm only 12+4 but sickness really showing no signs of letting up and I feel SO lazy but just have no energy! Kudos to those of you looking after other kiddies!

Mamabearwhere · 16/03/2021 17:24

My nausea is just getting worse and now with added headache that is constantly there. So tired, no energy! Can’t wait till this phase passes

Not too long until the 16 week appointment for a few of us now!

I saw they do BP and urine, then discuss any blood tests you’ve had and listen to the heartbeat. I’m hoping they will let me record the heartbeat on my phone 🤞🏼

CherylLW · 16/03/2021 17:32

@Mamabearwhere me too 😭 it tricked me but going for a bit and then boom! Just have to remember it will all be worth it in the end x

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 17:52

@mamabearwhere tiredness and headaches are a major downfall for me too. Hate it x

Mamabearwhere · 16/03/2021 18:03

I’ve already crawled into bed at 6pm. Having anxiety about what if I’m like this the whole 9 months.

Also, this might not even be pregnancy related but anyone else having hair loss? My hair is falling out so much!! With my other two pregnancies I remember my hair stopped falling and I had the best hair I ever had! Could just be Covid/lockdown life stress as opposed to pregnancy though
