@Squibble84 thanks for the advice, it’s hard to know isn’t it as there is so much Information out there about things. I’ll try not to get to worried about it and just try and sleep in my side more and more 😊

Kirky658 · 15/03/2021 15:09

@mrsmcntobe my gums are a nightmare too! I have a checkup next week. Have you got your exemption cert so you can get it for free? X

MrsMcNtobe · 15/03/2021 15:11

@Kirky658 I asked if I needed a letter or anything from midwife and they told me no but I’ve seen people talking about exemption certs! I’m in Scotland so I wonder if it’s different here x

MrsMcNtobe · 15/03/2021 15:12

@Kirky658 also... swishing around a little warm salt water gives a little bit of relief! Xx

SP2Bx · 15/03/2021 15:25

@Kirky658 is the exemption cert a physical thing? I signed something at my booking appointment but don't think I got given anything?

@Squibble84 I'd really like a FB group, I find this app so UN-user friendly!

Squibble84 · 15/03/2021 15:34

@SP2Bx me too, I lose track of things and miss posts, it’s so much easier on Facebook! Well if people are keen, I’m happy to set one up?

MrsMcNtobe · 15/03/2021 15:35

@Squibble84 up for that! X

unicornpower · 15/03/2021 15:42

@Squibble84 I'm up for a Facebook group!

Kirky658 · 15/03/2021 15:51

@sp2bx @mrsmcntobe may be different in Scotland. I queried it because I have asthma and needed new inhalers ASAP! Midwife filled out most of the form for me then had me complete the rest and post it, got the certificate within about 2 weeks in the post. Its just a piece of paper but it will save me a fortune lol. Also up for Facebook group x

Rach921 · 15/03/2021 15:52

I’m so up for a Facebook group! Much easier to keep a track of than on here

AdventuresAwait · 15/03/2021 16:00

@SP2Bx, the exception certificate was posted to me. At my booking appointment, the midwife asked if I wanted it posted or emailed. I'm in the South of England. Not sure if it differs by region like other things!

AdventuresAwait · 15/03/2021 16:00

I'm not on Facebook but understand that it's probably easier for you all xx

AdventuresAwait · 15/03/2021 16:04

Thanks @CherylLW, it's good to know I'm not the only one with so many trips to the bathroom! Grin

Sillysocks998 · 15/03/2021 16:28

@Rach921
Do you have any vaginal twinges lol... Sorry we wouldn't normally ask this if we were talking face to face! Is this normal? Honestly...all this symptom checking ruins your day! I can't stop thinking about it. Its easier said than done.

crobo87 · 15/03/2021 16:39
@CherylLW, I've done similar... I've ordered two gender reveal cakes for the day we have our 17 week scan! The next day we are going to do a reveal on Zoom with our families. That's if they can tell at the scan! We will be able to meet my sister and her family (in the garden) & then have other family members on zoom (though we are considering just recording a video and sharing it if the 20 week scan confirms the gender!)

@SP2Bx, I'm getting headaches too. Anything you found that helps?

I am suddenly not sleeping well. I wake up nearly every hour and have to go to the bathroom lots. Anyone else?
I am
Up to the toilet every 2/3 hours. Drives me insane

crobo87 · 15/03/2021 16:42

I'd be interested in joking a Facebook group.
I've just had my appointment with the GP. Off to the chemist to get my thrush treatment now....praying it works sooner rather than later, in need of some relief xx

MrsMcNtobe · 15/03/2021 16:58

@Sillysocks998 I get the odd vaginal twinge here and there, wouldn’t say they’re super regular but they do make me wince a bit!

@crobo87 hope you start to feel better soon, plenty water along with the treatment should help flush it out x

Rach921 · 15/03/2021 17:02

@Sillysocks998 I’ve not had that, but from others comments it looks like it’s normal! I’ll look forward to adding that to my symptoms to experience

AdventuresAwait · 15/03/2021 17:04

Yes @crobo87, so frustrating isn't it!
Hope the treatment works quickly for you.

bluemagicalsky · 15/03/2021 17:06

Also not on Facebook, so I'll still be here Smile

crobo87 · 15/03/2021 17:15

Can I use the applicator for the pessary does anyone know? I'm sure I've read before that it's advised against it if pregnant but on one has mentioned it such as doctor or chemist

Squibble84 · 15/03/2021 18:21

Ok I’ve created the Facebook group but I’ve made it hidden so we don’t get hundreds of people joining from all over! If you search for my name on Facebook (Kelly Joanne - my profile pic is me wearing glasses and holding DD1 at the swimming pool) and add me as a friend, I’ll invite you. Don’t worry I’ll ‘unfriend’ you after you’ve been added! That’s how we did it with my September 19 group and it kept it a tight knit group! Anyone who follows this thread but doesn’t post also welcome to join!

For those not on Facebook, the September 19 mumsnet group is still active so I’m sure this group will keep going strong alongside the fb group!

Squibble84 · 15/03/2021 18:23

Or if you can’t find me, DM me your Facebook name and I’ll try find you!

Squibble84 · 15/03/2021 19:06

Ok so I think I’m pretty hard to find! 😂 think there’s a lot of my name! So if you DM me, then with your fb name, I can find you. Or else I’ll DM you my email address and you can find me that way!

bewitchingnight · 15/03/2021 19:37

I'll be here too, I don't have a Facebook Smile
