Welcome back @NW2021 I've tried to stay off google aswell, doesn't do us any good! I'm actually feeling a lot more positive now and just trying to relax. Still have 2 weeks until my scan so just trying to kill some time, it honestly is worse than the 2ww.

I think I'm going to buy another digital aswell, I'm nervous though. If I don't get a 3+ I think il start to panic again lol xx

1992EM · 27/02/2021 04:28

@NW2021 I know what you mean. It is so hard when you just don't know what is normal . I have tried to avoid googling much this week too and have found it has went faster , especially being back in the office this week. I am 21dpo and just done the digital and got 3+. I wasn't sure if it would as I know they can be bad for not being accurate .

@Garman getting the sleep in now whilst I can 😂

@lockdownbabyx Im feeling positive now as well compared to the start of the week, staying of google certainly helps!

@1992EM I’m up early as well, done the digital and got my 3+ feeling so good seeing it! I’m 5 weeks today.

@NW2021 ahh glad you got the 3 + too . I was 5 weeks on Thursday so roughly the same 👍 it was nice to see it in words .
@treesall mine aren't that sore . They are massive and tender if in the shower or don't have a bra on but they aren't sore all the time . Again I have googled this and it doesn't mean much either way .

Glad to see everyone's getting their 3+! I decided to save my money once I got my high HCG results, so just waiting slightly nervously for the viability scan on 11th March. My DH has got himself worried about having twins after the blood test results 😂
I'm feeling good, going back into work properly this week, it'll be great to have a distraction! Hope everyone's doing well 😁

lockdownbabyx · 28/02/2021 20:36

What were you HCG results @Gabby1234?
I got kind back this Friday but still wanted to see the 3+ on a stick 😂

lockdownbabyx · 28/02/2021 20:39

@1992EM I'm good aswell thank you! Tiredness tends to kick in at about tea time haha xx

Gabby1234 · 28/02/2021 20:46

@lockdownbabyx they were 3808 at 5+2, which is think is on the higher end. Not high enough for twins though, hopefully lol.
I'm pretty tired too. Not really any other symptoms though.

1992EM · 28/02/2021 20:48

@Gabby1234 I know , the amount of money spent on tests is crazy. I ordered 2 digitals do thankfully one showed 2-3 and the second was 3 + . I don't plan on buying anymore as they are so expensive . I have loads of cheapies left and a couple of frer that I bought by mistake ages ago instead of the early ones. Hopefully this lasts me 🤣. I only plan to test once a week just for reassurance as I won't get any until 12 and a half weeks. I hope all goes well at your viability scan ❤

@lockdownbabyx you are right. I literally am fine all day and come 4/5ish I hit a total block. X

@Gabby1234 that's interesting, how high would it be for possible twins? My bloods on thursday were 2926 and I was 4+4 then. I'm 5 weeks today. I'd love twins but DP would freak out 😂. They're in both of our families too xx

Gabby1234 · 01/03/2021 15:38

@lockdownbabyx I found this chart for levels per dpo but can't find it now! I think yours would be high too but hopefully (for your OH) not twins level 😂

1992EM · 01/03/2021 16:22

Feeling really let down by my doctors. Phoned for my blood results and there is a problem. I asked to be phoned ASAP by a doctor was told next week at the earliest. Which I told them I wasn't willing to wait and was told Thursday . 1 if they knew there was an issue why haven't they phoned me and instead waited until I had to phone and check and 2 I don't want to wait 3 days to find out my folic acid is low when I could do something about it now. I am already taking over the recommended amount anyway so this is really worrying me . My doctors are refusing to see people as well so all they are doing is phone calls . Surely someone could spare 5 mins to phone .

lockdownbabyx · 01/03/2021 16:29

@1992EM I'm sorry, you should have to be left in limbo like that! I would definitely call them back and demand to speak to a doctor. If it was me I would lay it on really thick, say it was causing me unnecessary stress and anxiety. They can't tell you something is wrong and then ask you to wait a week, that's ridiculous xx

1992EM · 01/03/2021 16:35

@lockdownbabyx all the doctors had left. Which is ridiculous as I phoned at 4 pm. I am going to phone first thing and demand a phone call tomorrow. I am then going to put in a complaint. I was already considering moving doctors and this has confirmed it for me . I feel they are using covid as an excuse and it is impossible to be seen or speak to a doctor in my surgery . x

1992EM · 01/03/2021 16:38

Also to top it all off . I got my midwife letter in and it isn't a phone consultation, it is in person. So would have completely missed my appointment has I not got that letter 🙈 x.

1992EM · 01/03/2021 17:00

I've asked to go in late to work tomorrow and going to insist I speak to a doctor and will be letting them know what a shocking system they have in place 🤣

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 01/03/2021 20:06

@1992EM haha I don't blame you, don't leave until you speak to a doctor 🤣. It really is so bad that they have just left you hanging like that xx

treesall · 01/03/2021 20:14

That's rubbish @1992EM! How annoying!!! Hardly appropriate to tell you there's a problem - of course you're going to end up worrying until they tell you what it is. Ridiculous to tell you that then leave you hanging.

Gabby1234 · 01/03/2021 20:57

How annoying @1992EM, hopefully you get it sorted tomorrow.

What's everyone doing re caffeine? I don't drink coffee but I like a tea (decaf tastes gross to me) and LOVE chocolate! Don't know how strict with myself I should be and can't remember what I did last time. One tea in the morning and some chocolate after dinner? Me and OH have been known to polish of a giant share bar in one sitting, not sure if that's too much!

treesall · 01/03/2021 21:02

@Gabby1234 I am having one proper coffee in the morning and then decaf for the rest of the day, possibly one normal tea in the afternoon sometimes. I think 2/3 cups of tea a day is fine.

1992EM · 01/03/2021 21:21

Thank you everyone. My boss has been great so I am going in late and going to sort it in the morning. Then going to look into moving. Normally it wouldn't bother me but I am so angry they have known their is a problem that could potentially harm my baby and they didn't think to phone me and then were willing to leave me for 10 days before telling me what the issue was.

In terms of caffeine . I don't drink tea or coffee . Never have fancied it. I cut out fizzy juice at the start of the year and haven't had that at all since Christmas time. I do eat chocolate though but have tried to cut down on that too as was dieting before I knew I was pregnant. I still plan to stick to the healthy eating just not be as strict as I was in terms of calories counting as I know you shouldn't diet while pregnant.

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 01/03/2021 22:43

@Gabby1234 I am a huge tea drinker, got to be Yorkshire tea haha. So when I found out they did a decaf version I was so happy! To me it doesn't taste any different ☺️. I was also dieting before I found out I was pregnant so I'm eating healthy most of the time and then treat myself to chocolate bow and again xx
