I am not quite ready to join the October group yet . I found out I was pregnant at 10dpo and confirmed with a frer 11dpo and 12dpo. No symptoms so far bar feeling really tired. Anyone else want to join me ? This is my first pregnancy so hoping all goes smoothly ❤

@lockdownbabyx I am good . 9 weeks tomorrow and nausea/sickness is in full swing. Bizarrely only sick at night . My midwife appointment is on Tuesday too. I don't have another scan until 12.5 weeks so a while to go yet x

@1992EM aw bless you, has it not eased at all? I have it at nighttime too, only mildly though. I'm not actually being sick thankfully. My scan next week is a private one, I'm feeling nervous about it already though 🤦🏻‍♀️ xx

1992EM · 24/03/2021 17:16

@lockdownbabyx no not yet but hopefully does soon as it is so hard working full time and then coming home and spending the full night being sick . Xx

Hows everyone? Had my scan! All went well 🥰 strong heartbeat, fluid all ok & baby measuring 8+6, I’m 9 weeks today so I’m happy with the measurements etc. So crazy seeing the little bean moving around and you can see the heart beat flickering! Magical.

1992EM · 27/03/2021 16:47

@NW2021 aww I am glad everything went well . ❤ I am good, nausea and sickness have been a killer at nights . Last night was the first night I haven't been sick since 7 weeks so was such a relief 🤣but then I worry something is wrong. I have managed to clean my house today so feel I have achieved something. I am also still working full time so think the tiredness definitely makes it worse during the week. I am 9 + 3 today . I have my first midwife appointment next week too. How are you doing ? X

@1992EM god that sounds the worst! You’ve done so well coping with that. Im lucky since about 8 weeks my nausea seems to have disappeared, sometimes at night time or if I’m really hungry I still feel sick but thankful I’m feeling a lot better now.
Working full time & the tiredness I know how that feels! That’s the one thing at the moment that hasn’t disappeared, constantly feeling tired! I come in from work grab some food then pass out 😂 weekends are the only time I manage to actually get something done

1992EM · 27/03/2021 17:32

@NW2021 I am hoping it will start to get better soon. I literally come in have something to eat. Has to be cereal or toast as anything with a smell I can't stomach past 4pm and I'm in bed for 5 🤣 lying down with a fan on is the only relief I get at night . I am just glad it isn't all day . The tiredness is a killer as you say. Plenty of naps 🤣. X

@NW2021 oh glad it all went well! We're you able to get a clear pic? Can't wait for mine next week ☺️. Xx

NW2021 · 27/03/2021 19:05

@1992EM thats terrible! Hopefully be a bit easier for you as time goes on. Funny enough I’m a big fan of cereal for my dinner at the moment! Doesn’t make me feel sick at night.

Yeah managed to get some lovely pics, can see the head and tiny little arms. Heart beat is crazy like a flicker. Got some videos as well. I’m glad I waited till 9ish weeks just to see more of the baby. I know people like the reassurance at 6/7 weeks but I think it would be more worry as you can’t see as much.

1992EM · 27/03/2021 19:07

@nw2021 cereal is the way forward 🤣 that is amazing you could see their arms . I can't wait till the 12 week scan. X

NW2021 · 27/03/2021 19:51

@1992EM ive got at least 4 cereals on the go at the moment 😂
yeah just little dots on the side and could just make out the little dot legs. Easier to see on the video than the pics. Was really good to be honest. I’m looking forward to the 12 weeks 🤍

lockdownbabyx · 27/03/2021 19:53

@NW2021 aw that's amazing, made me even more excited for mine haha. I saw the heartbeat at 6+4 but hoping to see little bean move next week 😁.
Anyone know when the 12 week scan is booked? I have my first midwife appointment on Tuesday, does she organise it? Xx

1992EM · 27/03/2021 20:36

@lockdownbabyx I have had my date since I phoned to book in . I got it at the same time as my midwife appointment . Mine is 19th April x

@NW2021 I have 3 going to offer some kind of variety 🤣

@lockdownbabyx how did your midwife appointment go ?
Mine was a phone consultation and they just asked 100s of questions x

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 30/03/2021 16:43

@1992EM literally just got off the phone haha. It was ok, quite boring. Same as yours just loads of questions! Just got to wait for the scan now ☺️. How was yours? Xx

1992EM · 30/03/2021 23:15

@lockdownbabyx it was fine just like a questionnaire about my life and all my family members 🤣. 2 weeks on Monday until my scan. I need to go in in a week for bloods and things though x

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 30/03/2021 23:18

@1992EM haha same as me! Although there was one wierd question lol She asked me if there is any chance me and my DP are related 😂😂 did you get asked that? Yeah same I have to go in on 14th April for bloods and things. I've also got to get a higher dose of folic acid from my GP which I will sort tomorrow xx

1992EM · 30/03/2021 23:26

@lockdownbabyx yes , which i laughed at 🤣. I take a higher dose too but I already did as I have had low folic in the past so took it while ttc. I just got it from amazon but definitely get a prescription as was expensive . X

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 30/03/2021 23:34

@1992EM oh good I'm glad it's a normal question to ask. My DP joked that she only asked that as were from Norfolk 😂. Yeah I did have a quick look online. But I get free prescriptions now so would be silly not to get a prescription haha xx

1992EM · 31/03/2021 07:31

@lockdownbabyx absolutely , take full advantage. The ones I have last 4 months so had them before we found out but will definitely get a prescription when I am in. I think they have to ask absolutely everything so they aren't discriminating against anyone x

lockdownbabyx · 31/03/2021 22:52

@1992EM sorry for late reply! I don't know what's wrong with me today, been super emotional and just feel really down. Literally sobbed in the shower earlier and I have no idea why! Poor DP has no idea how to comfort me lol. I hope this is normal and also hope it passes 😭. Xx

1992EM · 31/03/2021 23:16

@lockdownbabyx definitely normal. I had a day like that on Sunday. I was so ill and just sat on the bathroom floor crying as I was so fed up. My DP is the same. It is hard for them as they don't no what is wrong and either do I so then they can't help but are desperate to make you feel better x

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 01/04/2021 09:38

@1992EM it's awful isn't it? I haven't even felt overly sick or anything so I'm not sure what it is. Just feel down and deflated. Just praying it passes 🤞🏼 xx

1992EM · 01/04/2021 20:56

@lockdownbabyx it definitely is . Think exhaustion plays a bit part too . I am now off for 2 weeks and it could not have came at a better time . 😴 🤢
