I am not quite ready to join the October group yet . I found out I was pregnant at 10dpo and confirmed with a frer 11dpo and 12dpo. No symptoms so far bar feeling really tired. Anyone else want to join me ? This is my first pregnancy so hoping all goes smoothly ❤

Sorry I meant to tag @1992EM 🤣

Honey2 · 23/02/2021 22:06

Hi all,
Wondering if I can join your chat too.. I had BFP at 10dpo on 20th (so 13dpo today)

Agree with all your comments, these first weeks are so nerve wracking. I’m Obsessed with testing and panicking when the line isn’t much darker, taking trips to the loo every 5 mins to check for spotting 🙈 I should know better as this is my 4th baby (but 6th) preg. I’m 40 now though and know the odds aren’t in my favour ☹️

Just on the baby aspirin - when I lost my daughter at 20 weeks the only possible reason they could find was issue with too thick blood, so I was also advised to take baby aspirin in my next preg (I was also on herparin injections) so it could be worth mentioning to your dr @treesall

Fingers crossed and best wishes for everyone xx

lockdownbabyx · 23/02/2021 22:09

Congratulations @Honey2 Thanks. You're right it is so nerve wracking, and 10 times worse than the TWW haha. Wishing you a smooth sailing pregnancy ☺️ xx

Honey2 · 23/02/2021 22:16

@lockdownbabyx thanks 🙏

Doesn’t help that I think the cheap internet hcg tests can be really unreliable! Probably more trouble than they are worth but I was sucked in by the cheap price for millions of tests lol 😆

Glad you dr is doing blood test, I also had this after my MC’s and it does at least feel like you are ‘doing something’ rather than just sitting and going crazy. Have everything crossed for you xx

lockdownbabyx · 23/02/2021 22:21

@Honey2 haha I did the exact same! I didn't get clear positives in those until I was about 13dpo, whereas I got a BFP at 9dpo with FR. I dread to think how much I've spent on tests 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Yeah definitely, I need to do something. I know things can still go wrong even after that but still, it's some reassurance for a few days. Thank you lovely, will keep you all updated ☺️ xx

1992EM · 23/02/2021 22:25

@Garman oh I know, I will regret it. Hopefully get something that makes me feel a bit less anxious 🤣 . I haven't got much to go on other than missed period , lack of sleep and sore boobs. Feeling bloated tonight but think I exercised to soon after having dinner so don't think it is related.

@lockdownbaby thank you. They are taking my folic acid and vit b12 so not sure if they will do it but will ask. The doctor said she would get bloods done so I had assumed at the time that also meant to check pregnancy but then thought I don't actually no if she said that 🤣🙈. I hope all goes well on Thursday ❤

@Honey2 Congratulations ❤ sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😔 hope all goes smoothly for you. Did you get prescribed baby aspirin? Is this something you are supposed to take in all pregnancies? I am currently taking pregnecare max plus . x

@1992EM thanks 🙏

Yes I was told by consultant to take it based on findings in tests after my late MC. Apparently blood can become more ‘sticky’ in pregnancy and sometimes this can be a problem. However I definitely would check with GP before taking it.

😊

1992EM · 23/02/2021 23:19

@Honey2 thanks , yeah I will ask about it . I googled it there and says can take in 2nd trimester if at risk of pre-eclampsia. I think ill need to write a list of stuff down 🤣

I caved and tested again 🙈 managed 2 days 🤣 happy to see line is darker than control now. Hopefully this keeps me reassured for another couple of days.

CD35 today which work out to be 5 weeks but my last period was 5 weeks ago tomorrow . I have no idea how to count it. Some apps say I am not 5 weeks until Friday and some say I am today 🙃.

Hey all - I can’t believe I’m writing this but I had my BFP this morning. We’ve been trying for one month and I had my copper coil taken out part way through my fertile period.. so incredibly lucky. This is my first pregnancy. I’ve just put all my dates in and it’s looking like I’m 4+3... i haven’t even told my DH yet as he’s away for a night... will show him later on.

What do I do now?!?!

Garman · 24/02/2021 06:49

Congratulations @Upupupintheair, there's not a whole lot to do for now other than take folic acid if you aren't already 🙂

1992EM · 24/02/2021 07:03

@upupupintheair Congratulations ❤ not much to really do just now. You can phone to inform your midwife team and should take vitamins that include folic acid and vit d . I plan to phone the midwife team at 6 weeks x

Upupupintheair · 24/02/2021 07:06

Thank you @1992EM and @Garman I’ve already been taking folic acid and vit d and will continue to do so! Argh how am I going to concentrate at work today?!

1992EM · 24/02/2021 08:33

@upupupintheair I know, it is so hard and can't discuss it either. It feels like I'm living in my own wee world just now . Only my partner and I know. X

I have booked in 😬 i was planning to wait but nurse advised the sooner they knew the better . I have my booking in appointment and scan which scares me 😅 seems a bit more real and saying it to someone else felt strange too . I just hope all is ok x

@1992EM aw yay, it's an odd feeling isn't it? She she test your HCG today aswell? Xx

Gabby1234 · 24/02/2021 10:41

@Upupupintheair and @Honey2 congratulations! It's nice having a group like this because obviously there's no one else to talk about it with at this early stage! My husband hates getting ahead of ourselves so is quite low key for the first couple of months.

I've just been into the clinic to have my bloods taken to check my HCG and progesterone. Feeling a bit nervous because I'm still having aches low down in my abdomen, but my tests are very strong now so staying positive! I'll get the results this afternoon!!
@1992EM I'm never sure about dating either. According the the due date calculator from my last period I'm 5+2, but I'm not sure how it works out as they can obviously date exactly when the embryo was transferred for me. They'll tell me at 7 week scan I think.

Honey2 · 24/02/2021 11:07

So excited for everyone...

I get so confused with the weeks at this early point. My LMP was 26th Jan and I know I’m on 14dpo. What does that make me?? 4+2 I think?

Due date calculator says 2nd November.. what about everyone else?

lockdownbabyx · 24/02/2021 11:43

@Honey2 I personally go by my ovulation date rather than my LMP as thats more accurate. I also track my ovulation using bbt so I know roughly when I ovulated. Going by ovulation, I'm due on the 31st October xx

Folklore9074 · 24/02/2021 12:11

Joining. I'm 5 weeks today and this is my first pregnancy. Its an IVF pregnancy and we got our BFP on our first FET which seems a bit too good to be true after everything we have been through over the past two years.

I'm driving my self crazy doing tests to check those lines are still there and going to the toilet to see if I'm spotting. I've been spotting a bit but I'm using progesterone suppositories so I think its that irritating me a bit as I've not had any cramps this week. The clinic don't seem worried anyway.

Uggh so nervous and excited! Can't really tell anyone yet so great to have this group. Got my 6 week 'viability' scan booked in for March and might feel a bit more relaxed after that. Hopefully!

Gabby1234 · 24/02/2021 12:39

Hi @Folklore9074 - I'm a fellow successful FET-er! My second IVF pregnancy, I have my son from our first go 2 years ago. Like you I feel it's all a bit too good to be true, but we'll see! I'm 5 weeks too . I haven't had spotting but do have some low level crampy feelings... Got my blood test results this afternoon so hopefully all will be ok.
Big congratulations to you 😁

lockdownbabyx · 24/02/2021 12:44

Congratulations @Folklore9074 and welcome ☺️

It's a very nerve wracking time and it's impossible not to over analyse every little twinge haha. I too have had some cramping, both lower abdomen and lower back. I had what I though was spotting a few days ago but now looking back I think it was just mucus like discharge (sorry TMI) .

What date is your scan? I have one booked with EPU on the 11th March ☺️ xx

ANABANANA16 · 24/02/2021 14:23

Hello everyone, hoping i will be able to join soon Blush congratulations on all your BFP! I have been TTC 3 years now! Got a BFP in October after Clomid, unfortunately had a MMC just before Christmas & ERPC day before Christmas Eve. Sad I just finished my next round currently around 12dpo, was going to test this morning but I'm terrified! I'm having mild AF type cramps since 4dpo! Boobs are not sore but feel heavy! Nipples v sensitive, so so tired, off my food, moody.
I just have a feeling I'm preggo! Did any of you have these cramps? Had them the last time I concieved so of course I'm thinking the worst!

Gabby1234 · 24/02/2021 14:43

@ANABANANA16 fingers crossed for you! When will you test?

I just had my blood results and they were all good! HCG 3308 which is in normal range for 5 weeks I think, and progesterone which is 188, exceptionally high, but apparently there's no such thing as too much progesterone in early pregnancy... I did think maybe I could stop doing the horrible intra muscular injections if it's that high, but they said to carry everything on.
