I am not quite ready to join the October group yet . I found out I was pregnant at 10dpo and confirmed with a frer 11dpo and 12dpo. No symptoms so far bar feeling really tired. Anyone else want to join me ? This is my first pregnancy so hoping all goes smoothly ❤

@1992EM oh no it really has kicked in now then haha. I'm ok thank you, nausea on and off and tonight I feel like a have a cold coming on, assuming that's not pregnancy related though haha. 6 days until my first scan now, I'm starting to feel nervous.
Oh I know! I see pregnant people everywhere, every other advert on tv is pregnancy related aswell 😂. Oh have you! I do wish I had of waited to telly my mum to be honest, my scan is a few days before Mother's Day so that would have been perfect. Too late now lol xx

1992EM · 05/03/2021 20:48

@lockdownbabyx that will be lovely to see the scan. The next few weeks are easy to avoid other than mothers day so I am hoping I can keep it quiet until 9 weeks. Then at least I am closer to my scan and only a few days away from my booking appointment. I am still in my own wee bubble just now and quite like it 🤣🤣

@1992EM had a rubbish couple of days, just felt really drained and out of it. Nausea has well and truly kicked in haha wheetabix is about the only thing I feel like eating. I've forced myself to get off the sofa today and clean the house, I feel a bit better for it. How are you? X

1992EM · 08/03/2021 20:11

@lockdownbabyx the nausea is so hard. Thankfully I seem to only have it in the morning and then at night which works well as my job is very demanding. Once I eat breakfast and brush my teeth I feel better. Night is definitely worse and feeling more and more like I will be sick . I Have ordered lots of mints as have heard they are helpful and think I could take these discretly in work if I needed too. I thought about sickness bands but they are too noticeable . I have 4 weeks until I am off for 2 weeks and it can't come soon enough. I am exhausted. The nausea is reassuring even though it isn't pleasant 🤣 . I have went completely off certain foods too. Seem to crave baked potatoes which is random. X

@1992EM yes I'm the same, once I eat I feel a lot better. But it's a chore just to eat lol I'm just not enjoying food at all. I hope that passes as I usually love food 😂. Aw yes I bet you can't wait for some time off! I'm currently furloughed so I'm pretty limited with what I can do during lockdown, think that's making me feel worse. The daily walks on my own are getting a little tedious haha. Called my midwife today and booked my first appointment as I'm now over 6 weeks so that's exciting ☺️ xx

NW2021 · 08/03/2021 21:00

@lockdownbabyx @1992EM glad I’m not the only one with the nausea! Feels like I’ve hit 6 weeks and it’s just been turned up a notch! I’ve not actually been sick yet but do not feel like eating at all, everything makes me feel so sick 😷 I hope it subsides after a few weeks, I love my food to much! 😂

I’ve got my first midwife appointment tomorrow starting to all feel real now!

1992EM · 08/03/2021 21:01

@lockdownbabyx ahh that is exciting . Makes it seem so real . My booking in is 3 weeks tomorrow. I felt 6 weeks was a big mile stone . Not really sure why 🤣 I would quite like to be home as exhausted but also grateful as my days go fast and I know I would just Google constantly .

lockdownbabyx · 08/03/2021 23:07

@NW2021 oh good luck with your appointment, let us know how it goes ☺️.
Mine is booked for the 30th March but I do have my first scan this Thursday, feeling nervous/excited haha.

@1992EM aw I'm classing every week as a milestone haha. I'm actually relaxed quite a lot and having been Googling! I don't know what's happened to me haha xx

1992EM · 09/03/2021 06:55

@lockdownbabyx tbh so have I. If I am not bleeding I am taking it as a good sign. 🤣

I'm feeling ok! Very tired and quite nauseous in the evening but nothing major. I'm back at work so it's good to have a distraction!

@lockdownbabyx and @NW2021 good luck with your appointments! I have my first scan on Thursday too, will be 7+3 so hoping to see a heartbeat 🤞

1992EM · 09/03/2021 21:53

@Gabby1234 ahh that is exciting. Will be nice to see baby. I will be 7 weeks on Thursday. The weeks are dragging in 🤣

This is a tmu question but has anyone had lots of discharge. I literally though I was bleeding. It isn't excessive but is as if I was ovulating which is strange as this would be the week I would have ovulated had I not been pregnant.

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 10/03/2021 16:31

@1992EM I've had discharge most days since my BFP, I don't think it's anything to worry about. From what I've read it's pretty common.

On another note, I've had some spotting today and it's make me panic again 😫. My scan is at 9:30 tomorrow and now I'm so anxious x

1992EM · 10/03/2021 16:40

It has turned into pink discharge. I have phoned EPU and have a scan on Monday . Feel like I am going to miscarry 😔

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 10/03/2021 16:46

Oh @1992EM I'm so sorry. I feel the same 😔. I have everything crossed for us both. Have you had any cramping or anything? Xx

1992EM · 10/03/2021 16:47

@lockdownbabyx no cramping or pain at all. I just hope all is ok by Monday is a long way away and I have to go to work and just not sure I can actually face it x

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 10/03/2021 16:51

@1992EM keep an eye on it and try rest as much as you can. If it gets heavier or darker red I would call back and try get an earlier scan. That's a long time to make you wait 😔.
I've had a back ache on and off today which is making me worry more x

1992EM · 10/03/2021 16:52

@lockdownbabyx it isn't a flow yet so I am hoping it doesn't turn into that. X

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 10/03/2021 16:54

@1992EM that's good. The thing is spotting in the early weeks is so common and is also normal, but I know how hard it is to not panic and think the worst. Keep us updated xx

1992EM · 10/03/2021 17:37

Thanks. I'm a nervous wreck but will need to just hope for the best. It has stopped for now x

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 11/03/2021 10:29

@1992EM had my scan this morning and all is well, despite me spotting a little.
Just wanted to give you some hope that it's not always bad news. How are you today? Xx

1992EM · 11/03/2021 15:43

@lockdownbabyx thank you . I am glad yours is all ok . I haven't spotted since that one time and that is around 23 hrs ago so I am crossing my fingers that they find a heartbeat on Monday. Nausea has also got worse which I have never been so grateful for . I am just hoping all is well. Yesterday I completely panicked as to me any sort of blood wither pink, red or rusty was a bad sign. But have since read a million articles and threads and doesn't always seem to be the case . Nice to hear that you have had a good news story too ❤

OP posts:
lockdownbabyx · 11/03/2021 15:49

@1992EM it's good news that it was only that one time! In all my previous losses, once the spotting started it never stopped and was there every time I went to the loo. So the fact it was a one off is definitely positive, aswell as the nausea haha. I know exactly how you feel though, it's so hard not to panic and assume the worst. I haven't spotted anymore since yesterday either, same as you and I was able to see the heartbeat today. Hoping you get the same on Monday ☺️ xx

1992EM · 11/03/2021 15:54

@lockdownbabyx thank you . That is reassuring. I am such a nervous wreck. I wish they did a midwife class or something in the early weeks to prepare you for what could happen and what to expect. I feel so out my depth. I don't know what is normal and what isn't. I probably have totally over reacted to it yesterday but hopefully I will have some reassurance on Monday . I am glad your spotting didn't come to much either and scan was positive ❤
