@Piccalily19 congratulations! Glad baby’s dad got there to see him arriving. So many stories on here like yours about MWs not believing women when they say they’re in labour! It’s crazy.

@Theonewheretherewas4 a lot of us on here have measured under and been sent for growth scans. I measured 30weeks and 38. I’ve had 3 growth scans now. All fine. Like @Safxxx said the tape measure seems it shouldn’t be trusted! Some hospitals don’t even do them. Still tis always nice to have a scan ☺️

@cat709 I’ve been treating myself to a warmer bath now as I do like a good soak and find it’s sooo good for my aches and pains.

So chuffed I actually got some colostrum out today! Second day I’ve tried, didn’t get anything yesterday tho don’t have a huge amount of patience for it. My eyes welled up when those tiny beads appeared! I did it in the bath, I think being warm and relaxed helped. Set some cramps off too 🤞 might get things going. Been quite crampy all day. X x x

Yes Iv always had big differences in scan and tape measurements so I’m not too panicked yet but both are plotting baby at the lower end of the scale and there has been no growth with the tape at all, hopefully the scan will show she’s still growing in line with her curve but I wouldn’t be saying no to getting a plan in place to be induced.

Ah thank you, yes that makes sense. I'm reading on all the websites about a hot bath just to relax. Nothing else like it 😊 @Muriel84 exactly! I've missed it.... bath is tonight's plan! X

@Muriel84 thats nice you got some colostrum out, well done, mine are sore scared to do anything.
Also breast feeding failed me 3 times before, so feel like i won't succeed this time either, that itself puts me off trying anything.
Lets hope your cramps lead to labour 🤞

I've had a date come through for my elective section for 2 weeks time! So exciting that I've now got an end date but I also have a feeling that the days may drag until then!

Saw midwife today, been booked for a sweep on Wednesday at 41 weeks ❤️ let's hope I don't have to end up going for it 😩🤞🏼

@Theonewheretherewas4 cos my bump measured 30weeks it meant that it looked like my baby had shrunk significantly compared to growth scan and measurement two weeks before. I was sent straight round for a scan and assessment in maternity triage. I was sat assuming I was going to be induced but all was fine. The baby is on the smaller side on my growth chart but growth has been consistent. Bump measures small for some reason.

@Safxxx mine are sore now I’ve been messing around with them! But not too sore in general. Nothing compared to the first trimester.

@Safxxx I couldn’t bf my first 2 tried with no3 and he fed for 14 months, Iv got formula ready and il give bf a go once she arrives Iv never been able to get much of anything trying to express in anyway at any time.

@cat709 I love a really hot bath and have been having them throughout (third time mum i genuinely forgot your not meant to in first trimester) really helps my back ache and gives me head space to relax. Nothing like some bubbles! 😊

Although sadly a hot bath does nothing to bring on contractions for me at least! I know I'm not due til 16th but I'm getting impatient 😄

@Lnbarne oh I envy you knowing it will only be a week! My 39 week mw appt is Tuesday, if I make it til then it will be the most pregnant I've ever been 😭 im showing zero signs so def thinking I will go overdue
