@Clockspanner same here! On my feet all morning. Few braxton hicks that’s it. Just nodded off briefly on the sofa for half an hour. Nothing going on at all. Other than wiggly baby. Don’t hold out much hope for movement before sweep number 2 tomorrow! X x x

Omg @babbit87 congratulations and lucky you. Were you scared it was happening so fast? My first, I didn't know what was happening, never watched any shows etc and I remember being hooked up on the monitor and it felt like the crystal maze music going off. Although it took 2 hours of pushing, I was so scared I started screaming because I wasn't ready/didn't know what was going on...from being told I could not have been in labour that day to being shocked out of my life that I had arrived at the hospital 8cm dilated haha.

Congratulations to everybody else who is having their babies. I need to catch up with the thread. I'm having weird pains so have been in bed most of the day with the vomiting. I've forgotten what a period feels like so had to ask my sister what a period pain felt like haha. @Safxxx yes that leaflet was weird

Ps does anyone know what that feeling is...I feel like someone is pulling a church bell in my vagina...had a few tugs...

Anyone else with piles that have gone worse now? Since yesterday i been feeling immense pressure down there and also in the lady bits, i think their causing all that area to hurt, feel very uncomfortable 😣

@faithfulbird20 weirdly I think I'm having the same pulling pain today. It's quite quick painful twang not sure what it is I thought it might have been her moving in a weird place

@Safxxx oh no I feel your pain. Mine are okay at the minute but do flare up if I feel pressure down there xx

@jbx10 yeah its definetely due to pressure. Also your expriencing lightening crotch
(Not nice i get jabs, shooting pains and pulling) everytime baby moves. Xx

I'll be very happy if that calculator is accurate been having contractions all day but all quite short in duration and anything between 5 mins to 30 mins apart. Usually further apart than closer. I've had enough already!! My 2nd labour was so good. Woke up, laboured at home for a few hours. Went in. 1 hour there and baby arrived. Home ASAP after. I really was hoping for that again. This feels like its going to tire me out before the hard work has to begin which isn't great.

Sympathy for the piles @Safxxx I'm also struggling with that this late in pregnancy. So uncomfortable.

My chances are the highest tmro and wed lol and anytime this week till weekend. Let's see, i'm in immense pressure and my stomach feels like if it stretches anymore it will rip.
Very very uncomfortable all around the middle area. Think head has dropped more lower so pelvic and down there feels worse. Back hurts too. Just got in from a half n hour walk and it was torture just about made it home and I'm lying on the sofa 😣

@Safxxx I'm feeling the same. For the piles I was looking into whether I should buy my expert midwife spritz for bitz for tearing. But a lot of the reviews said it helped with piles. I know it's quite pricey but maybe witch hazel could do the same thing?

Has anyone bought the spritz for bitz? I've bought witch hazel, tea tree and lavender oil to make my own but I'm not sure...

@jbx10 I just googled it and @Safxxx is right it's lightening crotch which is our body telling us we're not too far off from giving birth.

I still need to recheck my hospital bag, add the hand sanitiser and masks in there. Also really need to tidy my daughters toy box. Normally I'm on top of it, but I'm just soo tired. We went to Asda and Aldi today and grabbed what I can and I'm exhausted. Also got some sandwich fillers today for any emergencies lol

Oh it seems to have told us all the same thing then! 🤣 it says I’m most likely to deliver Tuesday-Thursday.

Well I’ve been for two walks today, cleaned, done all the washing, sorted all the baby clothes into three separate drawers according to age, assembled the bouncer, cooked, repacked my hospital bag and now having clary sage bath. I don’t know what’s left to do tomorrow! Have my 41 week appointment at 5 so will probably spend most the day waiting for that. Trying not to get to downhearted but it’s hard!

I was bought the expert midwife set for labour which is lovely. I don’t think I would’ve bought spritz for bits as it’s crazy expensive. Piles have been very swollen for the last few weeks. I’ve been trying to ignore them and keeping up with my laxatives/gentle creams. Have some stronger stuff to hit them with after I give birth including the anusol with a teeny bit of steroid in it in my hospital bag.

@faithfulbird20 i've also got lavender & tea tree essential oils, got some witch hazel too. Could try making our own rather then spending money on the small bottles.
My doc did prescribe me another ointment for piles which she said works better then Anusal. I applied it earlier so far the pain has gone down, but pressure still there, Lets see how it goes.
I agree shopping is getting harder now 🙄

@Muriel84 wow you've been busy lol i went thru my hospital bag yesterday night and added more stuff, not going to touch it again till i'm in hospital 🤣
Yeah i think babies head has gone further down, hes body has slightly dropped too but still getting very bad heart burn.
Good luck for tmro's second sweep lets hope that does the trick 🤞
I was'nt going to this week but i might ask for a sweep at my midwife's appt thursday, as i'm just too uncomfortable.
