@Dorset555 ah yes I know the Whit well! I’m booked at uclh. Might email this morning and ask if they do acupuncture! I don’t think they do tho. My friend had her baby at the Whit in the last lockdown and they were way more chilled than my hospital. She was allowed two birth partners the whole way through. First baby and she had a really positive experience ☺️

My partner thought the MW had given the game away by calling the baby she several times too at my last check! I double checked and they don’t record the gender anywhere. X x x

Thanks so much @muriel84 for the extra reassurance on the gender! The whit have been great so far and I've heard lots of people having great experiences at UCLH too :-) hope you manage to get some acupuncture im only on the wait list but I'm poised and ready to go any moment they call...nothing else to do 😂

38+6 today and I feel like I've got my period. I feel so bloated and my lower back is so achey. Hopefully this finally means something is starting. Fed up of the on off symptoms.

@Dorset555 Ive never had acupuncture! Sounds like it would at least be a distraction! 🙈

@TeaPiglet I got very engrossed in doing some life admin and thought “ah no my periods going to start!” Cos of the cramps! They’re definitively not in my head then. Getting them in waves. Still mild but seem to be getting worse each day.

@Safxxx mine is in the exact same position but on the other side I found out today at MW app, 1/5 engaged but because she's my 3rd baby she could keep popping in and out until the end 😂.

I've been getting very impatient, sat waiting for the slightest bit of contraction/sign something was going to happen it was driving me mad🤣 but gave myself a talking to and I'm alot more relaxed now. Been reading books and taking relaxing baths, making the most of it while I can...maybe it's one of those things like watching a pot boil, quicker if you do something else?

Starting to get some period like symptoms- jelly legs, backache and tightening of the bump.

Walking everyday to get things moving. 12 days to go!!

@LBoz39 yeah i felt like it did pop he's head higher last night, but today its back down lol. Yes as hard as it is best to keep distracted or else we'l go mad.
Got a very bad headache since daylight got a cooling forehead strip on 😩

Yes, I'm better now. Thankyou It was a strain of uti that's apparently quite rare.

The 'period cramps' are so misleading you think somethings happening then NOTHING, I seem to get mine more at night! Nothing would do me today but I HAD to clean the car out, cause dont want baby coming home in messy car 🤣🤣 Only its so windy outside id have cleaned outside too, the things nesting makes you do when youve run out of stuff to clean inside !!!

Oh, god. I'm literally thinking about cleaning as soon all get up in the morning. Had the urge for 2 days.
