I'm absolutely shattered today and it's my turn to make tea, id usually persuaded hubby to make it but I didn't let him get much sleep last night as I was sooo uncomfortable and he was up early for work.. definitely going to try for an early night if the little Mr decides to not punch and kick me constantly 😂

@jbx10 weirdly I feel the best I have in weeks! Clearly needed a sweep to give me an energy boost... have got loads done today and had a nap and a lovely long walk in the sun. Now having a clary sage bath. Going to enjoy this while it lasts... really don’t want to get down about going over. Sorry you’re not feeling too well though they sound like they could be positive signs? X x x

Bloody freezing here too! Bit more energy today managed 2 short walks and was up last night with low down pressure and vraxtin hicks so hoping something will happen in next few days🤞. Also been craving McDs - could kill for an Oreo McFlurry!!!!! 😋

@Safxxx thank you so much. You were right. I do have the start of a water infection. Only found out today at 38 weeks because of bad backache all night. I should have realised with the burning sensation in my stomach last week. I had to go hospital and get it checked out and now have been given antibiotics. Really thought backache last night was start of labour...but midwife said even though I have no stinging when I pee it might be internal...

Congrats to everyone whose had or having their baby. I'm 38 weeks and can't concentrate but I'm so happy for you!! Well done! xx

@Safxxx I'm feel exhausted like you too. I haven't done any cooking but I'm going to need to. I have a very clingy 3 year old whose been kicking me all night in her sleep.

I was worried about getting my baby's head engaged as it happened earlier in my first pregnancy but, the midwife today said in 2nd, 3rd,4th pregnancies etc it can happen on the day so not to worry so I'm not pressuring myself. I can't even go outside to walk because of the snow at the moment. It comes and goes.

@Dorset555 40+3 for me today too, and no symptoms whatsoever either!

Was out seeing consultant who has booked me in for induction at 9pm next Tuesday unless I have baby before then. They seem really keen to get everyone delivered pre 42 weeks in my Trust so hoping I go naturally in the next few days. Partner has now finished up work though so that’s reassuring as we live separately when he’s at work for various reasons.

I am still getting on off symptoms, worse in the evenings then gone in the mornings, I have a lot of pressure down below and lightening pains and increased braxton hicks at night so sleeping is difficult but having naps in the day and daily walks for something to do.

I don't know what's up with me but I just can't rest, did full house clean yesterday then today I've made soup, protein oat bars and fishcakes for the toddlers freezer stash and I'm still just uncomfortable and restless when I sit down. Anyone else been like this?

Oh maybe this is the start of something going to happen for you @TeaPiglet 🤗🤗 You hear of people who cant settle just before they go into labour, fingers crossed!!

@TeaPiglet I was like this the night before I went into labour, couldn't sleep at all all night, was crazy restless and kept wanting to get up and get things done then woke up at 5am with contractions and was 1cm then was 4cm 3 hours later and from then on labour carried on! So could be a great sign 😍

@faithfulbird20 hope you recover from the infection soon. I can't tolerate anyone near my bump too much, feel sorry for you your little one is clingy and kicking you at nights. Yes mostly for first time mothers babies head engages earlier on, other pregnancies it can happen closer to time or while your in labour the contractions make it engaged.
Mines not engaged either. Xx
