@jbx10 @ExhaustedMumofsix @Safxxx thanks ladies. Excited and grateful to have got to full term. This pregnancy didn’t have the easiest start (do they ever?)! Sun is shining and it’s a beautiful morning here ☺️

I feel the same! Bit crampy and braxton hicks during the night. Nothing I got too excited about. Now I just feel same as usual. Going to try and keep distracted today.

I’ve had many Covid tests! Though usually swab myself. They’re a walk in the park compared to a sweep. Just have a tissue to hand cos it’ll make you sneeze. X x x

@Muriel84 your right its a blessing to come this far with all the little or big scares in the way, and if we got this far alittle more wait won't harm us it will be worth it ❤

Swab wasn't half as bad as I thought, lady was very gentle with me but the nose bit tickled like crazy lol.
Definitely glad it's not anal swabs, would've hated to have to hang my arse out the car window 😂 x

Just about dragged myself to make spaghetti Bolognese and had to sit inbetween. 😩

@Safxxx yes I feel dreadful today. Woke up at 5am with a headache that just doesn't want to go & also a bit of sickness & period pains. Not really moved much from my bed today! Spoke to MW for my 38 week app today she's booked me in for a 40 week sweep hoping I won't need it but who knows!

@jbx10 i think due to the walks in very cold weather i've been getting pains since yesterday around the pelvic and lower abdomen & lower back, its like its contracting but not contractions. Stomach feel's very heavy and alot of presssure down below. Suppose coming to end of days now, not long left so these symptoms are part of the package.
Gonna ditch my walk tday, my whole body aches.
Hope you feel better soon, and yes would be lovely to go into labour by 40wks naturaly. You got 12 days left i got 11 days. 🤗

Hi guys in 40+3 today and my usual midwife was on holiday so saw someone else..she hadn't checked my notes and just asked if I was 'the overdue girl'. Its really irritated me as I've been trying to see things positively and not focus on the due date! ☹
Had some reflexology yesterday which was lovely and I was feeling really positive about everything and getting into the trusting my body headspace but this ladies comments have really disheartend me- and there were plenty more comments :-(

still no signs of plug/cramps. A friend of a friend said cleaning the kitchen floor worked for her...is it worth ago? I'm not overly keen..😂

@Safxxx feeling the exhaustion today too! Went to bed at 10 last night with headache & cramping and still didnt get sleeping till near 2 🙄 ... ive had continuous cramping since sunday evening, bump has dropped but no other signs! Thankfully we've had no snow here yet so have managed a walk today and yesterday!

@Dorset555 If its any help I cleaned the grout in the 2 bathrooms upstairs yesterday, on hands and knees & Just did the kitchen floor there now and its made no difference lol. But if you really feel like cleaning go for it 🤪 I'm only 38+4 though, maybe itll get something going for you, who knows 😬

@Dorset555 thats not very nice of the MW, but as much as we hate it need to get used to it as even i've got ppl asking any news yet?? I'm 38+3 and it can be annoying.
Just do what your doing stay positive thru your reflexology. As for getting on all fours to clean it worked for 1 lady on this thread who has given birth, no harm in trying if you got the energy for it. Good luck Xx

@Safxxx I know this stage can last a while but wouldnt it be great for these babies to be here before next weekend 🤗

I did it yesterday and it helped get my belly lower but no real signs of anything happening. Just got period pains yet again and feeling irritated so I'm getting DH to take me a frozen lemonade from maccies but without that awful strawberry syrup on top

@TeaPiglet a frozen lemonade in this weather? Mind you i've been craving their strawberry milkshakes, but put it off due to cold lol. As i get bad heart burn i crave something cold but as soon as i take gaviscon the craving goes...but i do have lemonade bottle in the fridge, that helps it too. Xx

After a labour lasting over 24 hours my beautiful boy has arrived by c section xx
Dilated to 10cm but he was sunny side up and refused to move round so ended in c section ❤️ but we are both healthy x
Avery born 10.02.21 at 1.21pm weighing 8lb 1 xx

@Safxxx I know exactly what you mean I think the cold made my pelvis area cramp up too. I've given my walk today a miss it was snowing on and off too and just couldn't face it today! We don't have long to go at all 🤞🏽 we go naturally by 40 but even if not as long as they get here safe and sound xx
