We are due to get married in Greece next year and I've been sorting loads out for that these past few days which has taken my mind off the countdown for a little bit. But just realised 1 week 6 days until due date 😱 can't believe it. Seeing all the arrivals on the thread is so lovely, looks like it might be a busy week for baby's! 🎉🎉💜 xx

Turns out the pains I had last night was labour. I thought it was only Braxton Hicks so went to bed and got 2 hours sleep. Then had a slight more intense pain 3 minutes apart so came into hospital, still expecting to be told that it was nothing. Turns out I was 4cm dilated and because baby was breech I was rushed quite quickly into theatre. Baby Archie was born at 3:40am with the cord wrapped around his neck 3 times so good job I had a c section! Just had lunch and it is so nice to eat without heart burn!

@jbx10 i'm ok thanks, it snowed here too but has'nt settled much, i've had my daily walk a hour ago, it helps with the pelvic pains, and keeping baby down too, think he's heads engaged abit now as i feel it more down there. Got a midwife appt thurs will know for sure. Enjoy your walk, i came back freezing cold 🤤

@Safxxx sadly not, lay awake last night trying to get to sleep as baby felt like it literally didn’t stop moving for a solid hour, then had same again this morning and was hoping that meant something but back to normal now so (im)patiently waiting... I have an appt with consultant tomorrow afternoon and I think they’ll offer to examine me and do a sweep, not sure whether to let them or not - determined to let things go naturally this time but on the other hand I could hold off and be in the same position next week at 41 weeks+ and end up having to have some sort of intervention anyway so who knows!

@safxxx no I have a growth scan today and a non stress test and appointment with mw and then they won’t to schedule my induction today.. is there any point to getting a second sweep of iv already lost my plug?? Thinking about asking for one more before they try to induce me later in the week assuming all is good today..

@Lnbarne i think ask for another sweep maybe might move things along further.

@017HF go with whats best for you, and what feel's right. Its weired how when we go into labour before 40wks its exciting and when were over due we get frustrated yet 42wks is still normal.
Even i'm not due till another 12 days yet worried might go over lol
