Thanks so much everyone! The contractions are still waves of period-like pain. Hoping it ramps up soon, as really don't want assisted help, so my deadline is midnight!

Had MW this morning & baby right down apparently ... but nothing else exciting. Booked in in 2 weeks when im 40+3 for sweep 🙄🤣 Hopefully baby has decided to come on her own before then! Keep active between now & then lol.

@cat709 they're definitely there, but more constant so nothing I can time or rely on to be labour yet 😩 xx

My symptoms have settled down since last week, have lost little bits of what I think is mucus plug but thats it.

Today though feeling very emotional, wanting to cry at the most silly things, which isn't like me must be the hormones.

@nursey1993 atleast its in a good position, yep staying active is a good idea Xx

@Summertime1992 same feeling emotional, heard a few sentimental songs as i was scrolling thru some vids, and i started crying lol
I've been sending msgs to family and friends saying i'm missing them so much as i type i start crying.....Crazy hormones lol

So fed up now 😭 40+2 and no signs at all not even any cramps or bits of plug etc! Sweep tomorrow hopefully that will start things off 🤞

Reached my edd today!! Very exciting stuff can’t believe I finally made it!! Now I know that it’s unlikely that she will come today but I’m still very excited to have gotten to this point!!

@Sam042017 you’ve had no signs whatsoever up to this point?? Iv had all the right signs but no baby haha these buggers!! Maybe you will just go into spontaneous labor and it’ll be great for you 🤞🤞🤞

Nothing at all not even a twinge or any extra discharge... starting to think it's all a dream 🤔 but had a growth scan yesterday and baby is happy. Oh I hope so 🤞baby has been head down and 3/5 engaged for about 5 weeks! X

I feel you @sam042017 I'm overdue by 9 days so far and I haven't had any signs yet. I also have my first sweep booked for tomorrow, I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us 🤞x

@Sam042017 yeah unfortunately , a couple of mine have been overdue but this is the longest I've ever gone over. I guess I must just be prone to it, my wombs bloody Alcatraz 😂 x

@ExhaustedMumofsix I was planning on asking for a sweep at my 40 week appointment tomorrow but now it’s getting close I feel scared! 🙈 x x x

Hi ladies - so I went for another scan today as last week's scan said low fluid levels, its gone even lower now. The MW and doctors were very worried about baby's movements and heartbeat, but it seems normal. They have booked me in for another CTG for Thursday and then a growth scan at 38 weeks on Monday. If the fluid levels continue to be low, I will be induced next week. I told them I was drinking more water than usual, but the doctor said you having water is keeping you hydrated, all good, but it wont necessarily affect the fluid levels. A bit upset about the whole thing and little bit about the fact I spent 6 hours in hospital w/o food as they kept me waiting at every step. Absolute madness!

@Newmumfeb2021 oh that’s such a shame, worrying time as it is without being made to wait ages all hungry!
At least they’re monitoring you again, deep breath and take it easy. It will be worth it in the end x

@Newmumfeb2021 sorry to hear that, but i'm sure they will do whats best for you and baby. Hopefuly all goes well. One thing i've learnt is to take a few snacks with me every time i go to my appts, as you never know what will happen. Make sure you take something small next time with you. 6hrs without food is ridiculous, they should have given you something to eat. Xxx

Yes I always carry a snack. I had a flapjack with me, but that was not enough unfortunately to cover me for lunch. Hoping all goes fine later this week and next Monday. I plan to take a sandwich to my next appointment.
