Just got back from an evening walk, feel a bit better. Anyone else's bump absolutely rock hard and feel like its gonna rip open? Seriously tender to touch! If I didnt have mw on Tuesday I'd be considering calling... although I imagine its muscles stretching?

@Lnbarne true, i guess till you experience it all yourself you won't get it. I got 3 kids each pregnancy was a different experience. Xx
@babbit87 ME lol its the 3rd or 4th day its been solid hard, sides seem so stretched too, and getting on/off braxton hicks which further tightens it all over 😣

I've spent most of today trying not to fall asleep on the sofa otherwise I won't sleep tonight. Baby has been very active today as well, I think he's enjoying me being relaxed and not squashing him under a desk to do work. I've got a bit of pressure down below but nothing else happening which is what I want at the mo as The builders are back tomorrow until Friday lol

@Safxxx this is my 3rd as well and completely different to the last 2, although mine are 18 and 11 so can't remember all the details 🤪.
I was 2 weeks over with my first 2 but thinking this one is going to be on time, I've had quite a few braxton hicks in the evening but much stronger than my usual stomach tightening and don't remember any of that happening before so we'll see 🤞 i have my 38 week midwife appointment on Thursday so hoping she's engaged now, doing loads of walking with the dog then regretting it when I get home 😂

@LBoz39 thats alot of gap between your kids... mine are 16, 12 and 9yrs old. This 9yr gap has me starting all over so can understand. I don't think my babies head is engaged yet but he is low down, midwife did say as its not my first kid the baby can go engaged last minute as contractions start. Don't know why ppl say the more kids you have the easier it gets? This pregnancy has been the most difficult of the 3 due to non stop symtoms at every stage 😣

Due date for me today - still zero signs of anything happening anytime soon (not jealous at all of those of you who have early labour sounding symptoms, honest!)... was out at hospital last Wed and the midwife mentioned that they are inducing if 12 days past due date due to Covid (not sure what the norm is admittedly) - hoping it doesn’t come to that!

I'm wondering how @ExhaustedMumofsix is, she was due 30th January and not heard anything in a while

I managed about 15 mins out walking today with BH in the Baltic wind. Snowing lightly all day here but not settled. It was horrible! Been trying to help with a bit of painting. Good to be distracted so I quit obsessing. I also have a very sore lower back. Think it’s just where the baby’s head is tho. Baby is super active this evening feel like could burst out.

I flit between feeling very inpatient and then terrified! X x x

@Muriel84 I’ve no idea, I should have asked but didn’t even think to. Not sure if it’s just the area I’m in as I know another girl locally who is pregnant and she was offered an induction around her due date (as was I but said no as there was no reason to) so not sure if they’re just trying to manage the number of admittances in some way, seems a bit odd admittedly but who knows!

Just up giving Zach a feed so catching up, hes had jaundice and dehydration so that combined with my milk not coming in until today has been a rough few sleepless days! But today he seems like a different baby and is weeing lots so hoping tonight is a good one 🤞🏻 Had my first hormone cry session for no reason earlier too so definitely need an easy night (prays) 😂🙈
@OnNaturesCourse my home midwife appointments have been ok to be honest, just hate how they don’t give you a time guide for when they’ll turn up- I’m on edge! He’s got his heel prick test tomorrow at the hospital.

And just wanted to say to anyone still waiting for symptoms I had only mild back ache (which i had for ages anyway) before my waters went so don’t be discouraged. Oh and my poor mum had horrendous labours with me and my 2 siblings but I got so lucky and had a relatively easy natural so don’t get hung up on what you think genetics may influence

Hi @teapiglet 👋😁 still here and still very much pregnant haha.

Was still not feeling right in myself this morning so went for a crazy long walk to sort my head out, was bloody frozen by the time I got back but it actually helped lift my mood 😂

Even started doing squats intermittently through the day in the hope the pressure/opening my pelvis would trigger something but no dice 🤷‍♀️😂

Guess I'm just at this little buggers mercy, hopefully my Tuesday sweep will get the ball rolling 🤞🙏 x

After an hour's sleep, I woke up at 12.30am to my waters breaking. Boy did it break - just like on telly, along with the (very) bloody show. After a hospital check, I'm now back in bed, with period-cramp contractions. Beyond daunted and nervous now!! X

@Safxxx I'm due 26th Feb so have a few weeks yet.
Both my first 2 were over 8lbs and both took around 20hrs from 1st contraction to birth, my midwife said my second didn't get the memo of being quick on your second 😂

How exciting @cat709 ! Great to see all these babies coming 😁 Hope all you other ladies having pains arent too far away!! Yesterday evening was my first day with quite a bit of cramping but Im not even thinking about them as a sign of anything so I dont get my hopes up!! Lol. It wont be long 💕

@cat709 with my first my waters broke having previously had no signs or pains whatsoever and he was born 7 hours later so hopefully you won’t be waiting too much longer. I’m back at hospital for another growth scan today my guess is either a date for induction or another scan in a week so I’m still convinced shel be here this month.
