Hey ladies,
I haven't posted since the first thread. How are you all feeling?

I'm currently 38 weeks bang on with a baby girl, due on the 4th. I'm so tired!!

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow. Banging headache today and a toddler who instinctively is playing up - typical. But otherwise good lol.

Thanks so much for asking ladies, the braxtons eased off this morning and I still have a light discharge but no bleeding so it’s not pinkish now but more browny, I don’t think it’s my mucus plug but I certainly think my other half must have loosened things up a bit! Petrified me, little lady is shuffling about but I think she is running out of room so the movements are more pressured than they were before but will be keeping an eye on stuff today and if I don’t feel it’s right will call the midwife, sorry no more doing bits for me now until this little one is here and I am back to some normality x

@Char41zam my plug came away like that, was a proper little bleed mixed with mucus, then tailed off to a brown discharge like the end of a period. Midwife called it the bloody show. Can happen in the lead up to labour.

I'm currently trying to get my little man to wake up and move today - all I've felt is a few bum wriggling movements all day. Normally by now he's given me a sore rib, or headbutted my pelvis a few times.

@Char41zam glad to hear your ok! Very exciting things are moving forward for you now. Have plenty rest & make the most of maybe the last few days of peace & quiet! 😂 xx

@OnNaturesCourse my other plugs have been like really thick mucus but I know every pregnancy is different, they do love to worry us with the movements! I think they will be sleeping a lot now too building up to the big event!

@jbx10 I hope I have until at least my hospital appointment next Thursday because the consultant is going to check my cervix and I have a feeling that’s going to really start things off if I have not already x

I'm doing well, just tired and feeling a bit impatient. It's my first so I have no idea what to expect. Hoping for a smooth labour 😂

@onnaturescourse I'm the same with movements today. Tuesday they were going nuts, yesterday more normal, today very quiet. Will see if they liven up this afternoon...I had a very lazy start so maybe they're adopting my laziness for the day!

@pampero @Char41zam thankfully he seems to be waking up after a pint of cold water and some fresh air. Had a few little elbows to the belly button.

I think he's flipped again tho, movements are all to the side again. Honestly can't tell what way he is heading now!

Ah I’m glad @OnNaturesCourse my little lady is all at the right side today too and a lot of pushing and shuffling, I think they are starting to run out of room now! I’m still a wee bit crampy so taking it easy today

I often get the side movements, think its legs. Last couple of appointments head has been down so I think head down, bum in the middle of bump and legs off to the right somewhere!

Mine is head down towards the bottom left and he's bodies curled round to my right side, hes legs are placed towards the left, little curled up ball lol
So i get plenty of shufflung and pushing movements on sides. I am getting afew side pains due to stretching.
Breasts are very sore 😩

@OnNaturesCourse I think you are right I think I am having my show, just been to the toilet and I have a a lot of snotty stuff, got a fair bit of cramping too

@safxxx I recall my friend who recently had her second saying something like 'i can't remember why I was so fed up last time when they were born, im really enjoying being pregnant this time'...then she hit thr last month and the memory of why she started to get fed up came flooding back! Think we just have to focus on the end goal eh and it will be worth it.

@char41zam, definitely sounds like you might be on your way....First Feb baby might be a January one

@pampero i agree i think we women forget the pain once the baby arrives, and then theres other challenges with bringing them up, which sometimes makes giving birth was better then this 🤣
When your pregnant again reality hits you hard again...we just need to get on with it as our kids are worth the world & more. Xx

@Char41zam wonder if you have your baby 1st or @IamC your both very close now. Exciting 😍

@pampero and @Safxxx I really hope I don’t have her just yet, don’t feel prepared at all! But she will come if she is ready I guess, just back in bed as I have had about 4 hours sleep and hopefully get a nap now

@Char41zam how far along are you? Hope you get some rest

@IamC 37 weeks on Saturday, I am supposed to get induced 2 weeks today

@Char41zam i know what you mean, but just incase have your hospital bag ready.
As your not 37 wks till saturday, lets hope she stays put, or else they say its premature even if its 1 day short..from 37wks its full term, so your nearly there already. Get some rest Xx

Yeah I am hoping with some rest and no more amorous behaviour that she will stay put! The thing is we have not been doing anything because that was my fear that it would start me off and low and behold!

@Char41zam you've given me ideas and now poor DP is going to be kept busy tonight, and DC1 is getting sent to bed early 😂 I'm 37 weeks tomorrow so eviction would be nice.

Honestly though, I hope she stays put for you even if it's just for a few more days. Get plenty rest when and if you can, and make sure your bag is ready just in case. I think you're going to have a little January baby for sure.

Haha, I've not the energy for that in many weeks now, and I think my hips would break anyway. 😂 Me going to bed at the same time as DC doesn't help either lol. It's a shame because pregnancy hormones do make me want to do the bedroom dance quite a lot more than usual lol.

@OnNaturesCourse haha! Well it worked when I had my middle daughter too but I literally went into labour that night after we had sex but I was overdue with her, it’s something in the sperm that acts the same as what they induce you with.

@Safxxx yeah he is now put off and says no more now 🤣

I'm impressed so many of you are still willing and able to DTD!!! Im far too tired & uncomfortable for any bedroom shenanigans 🤣
