@Muriel84 yeah I was thinking that's really odd since you've been having your regular growth scans. But it does just show how inaccurate they can be sometimes doesn't it, baby can't be smaller than it was a couple of weeks ago! Aw that's good to hear, you've been a super mum already moving house & being so close to your due date so you deserve the rest now x

Safxxx · 29/01/2021 13:01

@babydust2412 I agree love coming on this post...who's next 🤔 ???

@Muriel84 they really do scare you don't they? Thats actually a good weight for your baby. My first born was that weight at full term. Take it easy don't worry all will be fine Xxx

Muriel84 · 29/01/2021 13:17

@Safxxx @jbx10 thank you both, your kind words are very much appreciated! Super emotional today x x x 😭

Muriel84 · 29/01/2021 13:24

@jbx10 trying to watch that colostrum video you posted but YouTube won’t let me without submitting my ID or credit card details to verify my age! 🙄😂

Stef92 · 29/01/2021 13:29

@OnNaturesCourse congrats 💙💙💙

I had a very restless sleep last night as I couldn't feel baby move, kept having drinks of water to get him to wriggle. I then must've dosed off and then woke with start to little fingers prodding my side.

We've had to tell the single person household that we bubble with (my aunt) that we will need to unbubble with her so my parents can bubble with us when baby is born. Safe to say this has caused ww3 in my family - could do without the stress!!

1 and a half days left at work is what is getting me through this.

Safxxx · 29/01/2021 13:34

@Muriel84 lolll i tried the link last night it told me to sign in. I forgot my details, as i usualy go on it without any problems.
Anyways don't follow the link just take note of the title and search it up in YouTube should come up...i've yet to watch it, was super tired and in pain yesterday so will watch it later tday. Xxx

Safxxx · 29/01/2021 13:39

@Stef92 family rivals ehh 😩like we need that extra stress.
Your parents come first, hopefuly your aunt will get used to it.
Its your decision at the end of the day, they should accept it, don't you go worrying or stressing yourself over it. Xxx

pampero · 29/01/2021 13:50

Congratulations @onnaturescourse

@stef92, must be hard keeping all the family happy! We live to far away for this to be an issue at the moment, but I've heard other stories of similar issues.

Just had 36 week midwife appt and been told bump is small (10th percentile) so have a growth scan Tuesday now. Shame to have to wait till then, but also telling myself they can't be too worried if its not being done sooner!

BL89 · 29/01/2021 14:09

Congratulations @OnNaturesCourse - so pleased for you!! What a lovely weight - enjoy all the newborn snuggles, I hope DC1 enjoys meeting their new best friend ❤️

Safxxx · 29/01/2021 14:11

@Pampero....i'm sure it will be fine don't worry, they scared me couple of wks ago and did scan was fine weight, got another scan next wk as a precaution. At my 36wk midwife appt yesterday was told the measurements are good and in line with the growth scan. Xx

My bump had got bigger in the last week anyone else?

Piccalily19 · 29/01/2021 14:26

@Muriel84 were your scans for low PAPPa as well? I get a bit lost in these threads and my memories terrible so sorry if you’ve already said!
Good choice on taking it easy though!

Muriel84 · 29/01/2021 14:56

@Safxxx thanks I’ll give it a go! I found another one to watch. Might give it a go next time I have a bath.

@Piccalily19 I was seen in a preterm labour clinic every 2 weeks during the second trimester cos of subseptate uterus. I had a low placenta so was scanned at 34 weeks which showed placenta had moved up but baby was breech. Scan at 36 weeks showed no longer breech. And then scan yesterday was cos I measured 30 weeks by midwife and she said it was too low to ignore. My baby is pretty average apparently tho. X x x

pampero · 29/01/2021 14:57

@safxxx yeh there seems to be loads of reasons the bump itself may look small and baby be totally average size inside, just trying to reassure DH thats the case too. Think its harder for them as they don't get the reassurance of feeling all the moment etc as well!

Newmumfeb2021 · 29/01/2021 15:55

@OnNaturesCourse congratulations 👏🏼 💜 hope you’re feeling well.

Newmumfeb2021 · 29/01/2021 15:58
@Newmumfeb2021 Awe its our hormones, think we've all had them moments, specialy now it will get to us all as days are getting closer, i've said this before this lock down is depressing too, not being able to see family & friends is hard, and anxious feelings about labour and hospital stay. Of course our emotions are all over the place. Just come on here and let off steam, i'm sure most of us will relate. Xxx
Thank you @Safxxx 💜💜 as others have just said here, it’s good to share feelings and these uplifting messages from each other keep us sane during this crazy time! ✨

jbx10 · 29/01/2021 16:21

@Safxxx @Muriel84 sorry about that! I didn't know if it's let me share the link but glad you can just search by the name of the title

@pampero try not to worry. My little one has measured along the 10th percentile all the way through and last week shot up to be bang on average 😂 I sometimes think it is dependent on their positioning.

Well I have officially turned on my out of office and updated my voicemail... maternity leave has started! 😇

babbit87 · 29/01/2021 16:30

@jbx10 woohoo!! Also started maternity leave today!! 😁 now how to stop myself spending too much online shopping......

jbx10 · 29/01/2021 16:38

@babbit87 😂😂 I'm scrolling through the online shops as we speak! Work got me a voucher too and I'm deciding if to treat myself or get something for baby ... she's already got everything!! Xx

Newmumfeb2021 · 29/01/2021 16:42

@jbx10 @Muriel84 I was able to open the video in incognito mode without any issues. Incognito as I don’t want google or YouTube to give me those suggestions randomly 🤣.
Good video might I add. I’m 36 weeks tomorrow so I think I can start practicing next week onwards 😊

babbit87 · 29/01/2021 16:58

Go on everyone, what is the most non-essential unnecessary baby item you've bought that you just absolutely love? I'm feeling the need to shop!

Stef92 · 29/01/2021 17:07

@pampero my husbands parents live away so it wasn't a tough choice to bubble with mine, just can't be doing with the added stress of a family member kicking off. Everyone is in the same boat with the restrictions!

jbx10 · 29/01/2021 17:14

@babbit87 love that question where to start😂... fluffy ugg slippers

jbx10 · 29/01/2021 17:20

@babbit87 for baby that is, not for me 😂

pampero · 29/01/2021 17:23

@jbx10 think mines does the opposite, at the start they were up the top, then gradually worked their way down. To be fair she did say the head was right down and I'm a decent height so they might just be nice and spread out! It'll be good to get the reassurance but like you say generally these things are all good & the measurements aren't the most accurate! I'm staying positive and assuming all is fine until I am told anything otherwise 😊

@babbit87 most pointless baby thing...a slightly oversize Simba cuddly toy...It obviously can't go in the cot and the baby won't care for it for a long time, but DH and I like it🤣

Slightly jealous of all these mat leaves starting, only 1 week left though & I've made it clear I'm on a wind down all week just tidying lose ends!

Muriel84 · 29/01/2021 17:24

@Newmumfeb2021 thanks I’ve tried private browsing mode and can’t get it to work. I’m intrigued what could make it so difficult to access 🤣

@babbit87 great question! I think I’ve got quite a lot of stuff I don’t need... I bought Xmas stuff for next year in the January sales 🙈 I love Japan and cats and my friend got me some toddlers cat chopsticks which I absolutely love! X x x
