Hi!

I got my BFP a few days back (well a lot of BFPs as I'm a POAS addict) and my due date is likely to be early August 2021.

Any other ladies out there with similar exciting news in need of chat and support in these strange times please jump on board!

Hi everyone, bit anxious to join as its so early and i have had 3 previous miscarriages, my most recent being july at 19 weeks! Got a BFP faint but there 3 days ago (3 days before period due date which is tomorrow) xx

The single test was the first one i done,

The pic with multiple tests on ignore the top few theyre dried out but the bottom one is this mornings....would u say its gone darker?

Only as i have tested before AF in the past, had faint lines and then AF arrived xx

@MushroomQueen a little spotting or a small bit of bleeding could be nothing. I had a six day full on 'period' when I was pregnant last time which is why I didn't know I was pregnant. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Welcome @Pippop21 and congratulations! I'm sorry for your losses, you must be having mixed emotions but that line definitely looks darker than the others, looks like good steady progress

@Sleeeeeepy hey! Thank you! Yes its hard to not worry without the added anxiety of having angel babies 😢! Im goinf to try and hold off testing until Wednesday now that will make me 2 days late! Im even more worried because i had my cervical screening last week (obvs didnt know i was pregnant at the time) so hopefully that hasnt done any damage xx

Mumtoalittlegirl · 29/11/2020 14:36

Can I join! I posted on one of the conception threads yesterday but I took a test today... 11 days PO and got a positive this morning. I tested again this afternoon and another positive (they are faint but it’s there). I will probably get a digital tomorrow just to put my mind at rest but a lot of the symptoms are there. It sounds weird but I can feel it more this time.

My due date would be 12/08. I have a little girl who will be three in early July. I was a bit concerned about trying this month as you hear about the struggle with August babies, but I’m late July myself and my summer baby is absolutely thriving at 2.5 so I really don’t think it matters at all! Grin

It’s going to be strange doing this all again but I’ve vowed to be more relaxed this time, and try to enjoy what will be my last pregnancy.

Congratulations everyone!

MushroomQueen · 29/11/2020 16:21

@Sleeeeeepy yes, indeed, it's now stopped and was only tmi on the tissue. So I'm hoping it was just a random bleed. I never had any with my other 2.

Sleeeeeepy · 29/11/2020 16:34

Congratulations @Mumtoalittlegirl !! My birthday is August and I always liked it. Second time round I was much more relaxed but still have the anxiety, I don't think it would be normal not to have it all all

@booksandmore

Hi everyone, here to join the August baby club! This is our 2nd and an IVF baby so we are pretty sure of our dates - EDD 2nd August. I was POAS constantly since a couple of days after my transfer but went for bloods yesterday and my HCG levels were looking good so we have decided to stop testing as it was causing us so much anxiety! We have a scan booked for 19th Dec and I totally agree, every day feels like an eternity just now, waiting to get past these early days.

With my last baby, we formed a spin off fb group which was great and really supportive. We still chat regularly even though the babes are nearly 2. Maybe in a couple of weeks we can get one set up?

Hey jumping on the August posts! Also ivf and first pregnancy. Feeling mostly ok but could sleep every afternoon given the chance. A bit anxious but trying not to predict future!
Twinkle1989 · 29/11/2020 18:17

Is anybody else being weird and still testing when they're feeling anxious?
I have been doing the progression with CB but also the cheapies when I'm having a flap.

Really put my mind at ease today as the lines are so strong now 😍

21DPO - maybe I'll stop doing these tests once I have a scan and know everything is ok

@Twinkle1989 I've run out of cheapies or is still be doing that, still got some week indicator ones I'm trying to ration myself...

Hi all, got my BFP this morning 4 weeks after surgical management of my miscarriage at 6weeks, I have no idea when we are due as I never actually got my period before we fell pregnant again but I'm guessing about August

Sophj19 · 29/11/2020 19:30

Hi ladies,
Can I join too please?
I’m currently 5w1d this is my 4th pregnancy, my last 3 have ended in loss unfortunately. I’ve been given progesterone and aspirin this time around so hoping that makes a difference. I’ve got a scan at my EPU on the 7th so counting down the days. Feeling anxious but trying to be positive. I don’t have many symptoms apart from my boobs being like rocks and extremely tired.

How is everyone else feeling?

Pika93 · 29/11/2020 19:35

@Sophj19 seems like there are quite of few of us here after loses here's hoping for our rainbow babies 👶

Sallyjo27 · 29/11/2020 20:12

@Pika93 Fingers cross next year will be our year! 🌈 How are you feeling?

Pika93 · 29/11/2020 20:15

@Sallyjo27 in shock, tired and already annoyed with the super smelling powers that come along with early pregnancy, how about you?

Sallyjo27 · 29/11/2020 20:18

@Pika93 haha that sounds very familiar! I’ve got a nose like a bloodhound at the moment! I’m okay just trying to be positive and not be so anxious x

booksandmore · 29/11/2020 20:31

So many new bfps - welcome and congrats to everyone! It is so helpful to have a group to chat things through with, especially if you arent telling anyone in real life!

@Mumtoalittlegirl Interesting you mentioned the August-born worries. I am in Scotland so our years run differently but I know it is a big thing for some people im England. My daughter is a February birthday which is the youngest month in the Scottish year and it did cross my mind but tbh we were just so thrilled to finally be pregnant!

@LoulabelleSunflower Glad to see a fellow IVF-er here! Was it your first cycle? We had quite a journey this time round but has been much quicker than with my first.

booksandmore · 29/11/2020 21:13

Ok, I have set up a fb group for us. Haven't done this before so might be a bit trial and error... If you would like to be added then please drop me a dm on here.

Becciboo1985 · 29/11/2020 21:23

Hello guys I got a positive pregnancy test today, looks like will be due around the middle of August 😬😬😬 First pregnancy at 35. Had an early miscarriage in February so hoping this one sticks. Feeling very excited and nervous!!

Sleeeeeepy · 29/11/2020 21:27

Welcome and congrats new ladies!! Lots of rainbow babies on this thread, I hope it's a lucky one for all of us

Thanks for setting up the FB Group @booksandmore I've attempted to dm you so we'll see how that went...

Pika93 · 29/11/2020 21:27

@Sleeeeeepy is there a Facebook group?

Sleeeeeepy · 29/11/2020 21:30

@Pika93 Yes @booksandmore has just set one up (literally just now) so if you DM her she can add you. I was too scared to set one up lol. If you're using the app you need to log into the main site to send a DM I've discovered

Becciboo1985 · 29/11/2020 21:30

I would be interested in a Facebook group!

booksandmore · 29/11/2020 21:55

@becciboo1985 I have PM-ed you!

Clairey844 · 29/11/2020 21:55

Hi, can I join please, lovely to hear from so many people at a similar stage.

@Twinkle1989 and @Sleeeeeepy my due date by last period is 3rd August too!

Congratulations to everyone on here.

Hi @NestinginNL I recognise you from the crazy bus ha ha

@MushroomQueen it's always worrying to have any sort of bleeding, I had a tiny amount of watery pink spotting the two days after my BFP but nothing since so just have to accept what will be will be and hope for the best, has it carried on anymore today?

@Sophj19 how far will you be at your early scan? I had a missed miscarriage in Feb so am going to contact the EPU soon and see if they'll see me but not sure how early they will scan you as I'll only be 5 weeks tomorrow.

@booksandmore would love to join the FB group; I'm using the MN app so have no idea how to DM someone so if someone could guide me I'd massively appreciate it.
---ignore that, just seem the comment about needing to go on to the main site!

I am hopeful but obviously cautious and quite anxious after miscarrying last time so haven't called the doctors or anything; last time I had my booking appointment and then only discovered the loss at the 12 week scan so I just can't go through that again so am going to have an early (private or epu) scan before I do anything official lol.

Btw I'm 36, have a little girl who will be 3 in March and am still breastfeeding her so hoping to tandem feed if all goes well.

Sleeeeeepy · 29/11/2020 22:44

Hi @Clairey844 and congratulations!! I'm sorry to hear about your loss, that must have been heartbreaking. I'm with you on the earlier scan, mine's booked for the 18th Dec which seems sooo long away
