August '21 Due Dates

Hi!

I got my BFP a few days back (well a lot of BFPs as I'm a POAS addict) and my due date is likely to be early August 2021.

Any other ladies out there with similar exciting news in need of chat and support in these strange times please jump on board!

@Pika93 how wonderful you caught so quick after trying for so long.
I have heard you are more fertile after a mc as your uterus is ready for an egg to implant
You are right. Every pregnancy is different so there's no reason to believe this will end the same way. The first trimester is awful I find.
Is anyone having symptoms yet? I'm nauseous but with my other pregnancies I pretty much had nausea from conception

Hi ladies, I just found out on Saturday that we are expecting #4. Still in shock and can’t get my head around it. We had sold/given away everything as our youngest is 3 & thought we were done.
We had just started to get our lives back & although I know we will be smitten and love this child with all our hearts, I feel so guilty to feel like this at the news 😞
Did 4 tests and then did one with water as thought it was a dodgy batch 🤦🏼‍♀️

@3boyplusbean I think I felt like you do with DS2, we wanted another but the timing was appalling. I actually felt my blood run cold when I saw the test, I never really understood the expression before that. Don't beat yourself up over the feelings, it's natural and understandable. Once you've come to terms with it there's plenty of time to get excited. Congratulations x

I know in a crazy world it really is the best news.
I’m so scared about people’s reactions & of course the expected comments about a girl after 3 boys- I’m 100% convinced it’ll be another boy, which is perfectly fine by me.
My MIL will not be impressed at all, and blame me of course 😖

I'm due end july/start aug im 5 weeks 2 days following a MC in July.

Iv been having a bit of neausa already and been knackered.

Also have an early scan booked in 20th Dec just past 8 week mark

Hi, ok to join? I had my BFP Monday and if worked out correctly due 10th August! We’ve been trying since around May so really pleased!
I’ve already have quite bad waves of nausea and my god my skin has gotten so bad I look like a teenager!

Actually that should say it was Sunday we found out!

Hey @NestinginNL sorry I've only just seen your message. Yeah the spotting only seemed to be after a no. 2 (sorry for the tmi) which I read is common due to extra blood flow to the cervix so it's easily irritated and was only a couple of times so hoping it was just that or implantation.

Yay for the good omen for the 3rd? How are you feeling? I feel fine, normal and at a push maybe have sore boobs but no real symptoms which worries me but I am really trying not to be anxious so will get an early scan in the next week or two and then start things off officially (haven't even phoned my GP yet) once I know things are looking good.

Nice to read how everyone is doing and feeling.

Does anyone else feel the days are going so slowly? I'm like how am I only 5w 2d still 😂😂

@Clairey844 ahh I’m glad it’s stopped, I didn’t know that blood after a BM is normal! The things we learn on mumsnet 😅

I’ve been nauseous since the morning of my BFP, it comes and goes but is slowly getting worse overall. Woke up feeling rough today. And have started feeling more tired and have achy nipples. I’m second guessing it that the nausea is just general nerves though, so who knows 🤷‍♀️

I agree that time is absolutely crawling by! My scan is three weeks from today, I think it’s going to feel like forever until then. I wish I could just skip ahead into the future and know everything is okay 😅

Hi ladies hoping it's okay to join 🙂 I got by BFP yesterday and ended up taking four different tests (three separate brands) which all came out with strong lines. I've taken another clear blue this morning and again positive and much darker than yesterday due to the morning test.

Yesterday, especially through the evening, I had bouts of mild nausea and twinges/mild pains/ovarian cramping (not dissimilar to AF but different at the same time) and sore nipples. I've woken up this morning and the symptoms seem to have died down and it's making me panic!

Does anyone have any encourage stories to share where this happened to them? I know everything is probably fine and I've had no bleeding or major pain but still v worries. This is my first and AF would be due on Sunday.

@LunaorJack95 hi ☺️ This is my first also and I’m probably only about a week or so ahead of you. I’ve read into symptoms coming and going a lot and apparently it’s completely normal. When I got my BFP my boobs had been sore the day before, but not on the morning of my BFP. After a few days the sore boobs become more of a permanent thing, but I do notice some mornings they hardly hurt at all, but by the afternoon are back to being painful. Think it’s normal for symptoms to fluctuate xx

Ughhh I'm so tired!! Literally did not want to get up this morning even though I got over 8 hours sleep.

Woke up with cramps and a bit of gas 🤣🙈 I feel so bloated and my nips are sensitive as anything and to think this is only the start ☺️

This will be baby no. 3. I'm am 40 with 2 grown up children but this will be my new husband's first 😁
