4 weeks today!

Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

@Blossom428 how can you tell by the skull? Surely they all just look the same on ultrasound? 😂

Had a phonecall with GP today because of a yeast infection. Once again they managed to make me feel like my pregnancy is not legit or important because it's so early on. I even brought it up with her and she totally failed to reassure me. Why do they just not give a s*t? She told me I need to take 5mg folic acid because of my condition.

On the plus side I got a midwife appointment text for 3rd Feb. I don't know how I'm going to make it to then.

I've always been a bit dubious about gender scans at before 20 weeks. I know a few people who were told they had a girl and the baby later had developed boy bits as it was done too early 😂. I guess if they confirm a boy you can't go quite as wrong 🤞🏻

@TheOrangeMonster apparently more rounded for a girl and more flatter towards the face of the boy. Not sure how accurate mind haha.
Sorry to hear about the crappy telephone appointment! Some people are just useless at basic people skills!!

@SS123456 Yeahh I know it is a tricky one, I'd go about 17weeks if so. But we'll see how I feel when I get to that stage ☺️

@Blossom428 yeah I think boy, just on a feeling not on any fact, if I saw my scan with someone else asking I'd of said girl, so I don't know why I think boy! It's not till 5:45 full day working beforehand! Hope the snow stays away!!! X

Ohhhh nooo! We have it bad here so couldn't leave our house - or wouldn't want to try. It's not stopping all day apparently.

@AnxiousAnnie86 (or anyone else) do you have any tips for nausea? I'm now 5+6 and it's starting to come on - eurgh!

@TheOrangeMonster oh nooooooo you have my deepest sympathies! I had it from 6 and still have it!!!! I'm now on cyclizine prescribed by doc as it got to the point where I was seriously dehydrated... dry ice cubes and reallllly cold water with lemon! That helps me x

@AnxiousAnnie86 hey! Im trying to catch up, my notifications keep getting lost and i keep thinking oh maybe noone has chatted for a while then find ive loads to catch up on 😭

Im doing ok thanks, still feeling sick most of the day but sickness seems to have trailed off a bit. Had my scan on tuesday there, they put me at same date as private scan said so i am 14+1 today!
