Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

Thanks @AnxiousAnnie86, it's at 11am but I'll be leaving about 10am. If it wasn't for the massive resting heart rate drop and pink spotting on Christmas day I'd be excited but I just have such a bad feeling. I really hope I will be surprised and all will be ok! 🤞🏻

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 09:19

@SS123456 I know I'm not dismissing your nerves by any means! I honestly feel for you, I'm just trying to stay positive for you! I will be eagerly waiting for you to say everything's okay!!

What is your rhr doing? Xx

Good luck today thinking of you

SS123456 · 12/01/2021 09:28

@Klprr93 thank you!

No don't worry @AnxiousAnnie86 I know your not, I appreciate the positivity ❤️😊. My resting heart rate is 59bmp (the lowest it's ever been in the 4 years I've worn a fitbit), it dropped from 84bpm 2 weeks ago!

4 weeks today!
AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 09:33

@SS123456 I think that's surely Covid related? I don't know?? Have you spoken to a midwife or anything? They are pretty useless before 9 weeks i find!!

OP posts:
SS123456 · 12/01/2021 10:35

@AnxiousAnnie86 I never managed to speak to a midwife (they don't answer the phone) and when I asked for a gp appointment they gave me one for 10 days later (that's tomorrow 🙄) but as you have said I'm just hoping it's covid related. I have just parked up with a ridiculously full bladder 😂

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 10:43

@SS123456 it's awful isn't it, last scan I had it was so so painful!!

OP posts:
SS123456 · 12/01/2021 10:46

I have a 5 min walk to the scan place from the car too and all I can think about now is that I've potentially got another 30 mins before I can use the toilet and 5 mins of someone pressing on my tummy! 😳

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 10:48

@SS123456 at my 13 weeks scan I was so so desperate it was agony. She checked quickly then let me go release for count of ten only 😂 I have a tilted uterus so it pushes back against my bladder too!!! X

@SS123456 good luck today!! I'm sure everything will be fine.

@AnxiousAnnie86 god I was like that last week. I was in so much pain, drank far too much. And then the appointment was late too!!
Tomorrow I'm just going to have a pint a that will do!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 11:17

@Blossom428 yeah I think as baby gets bigger it's not as important! I'm not putting myself in pain again Thursday night!! It's just awful! X

SS123456 · 12/01/2021 12:04

Baby is fine! 😁❤️

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 12:07

@SS123456 seeeeeeeee!!! Oh my gosh lm so so so happy for you!!!! Did you hear the heartbeat?? X

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 12:08

@SS123456 I'd take Fitbit off if I were you! X

OP posts:
Klprr93 · 12/01/2021 12:20

Yayyyy

Blossom428 · 12/01/2021 13:36

Awww yay!! Very happy for you @SS123456
Yes remove the Fitbit, or ban yourself from looking at heart rate for sure!!

TheOrangeMonster · 12/01/2021 13:42

@SS123456 yay! That's a relief for you. Yes, please stop tracking, you'll make yourself crazy!

SS123456 · 12/01/2021 13:45

I'm going to keep it on for now but purely to keep an eye on my heart after covid as I'm not worried on the pregnancy side heart rate wise now thankfully. I have a gp appointment tomorrow so hopefully the data it's recording will be useful 🤞🏻. @AnxiousAnnie86 yeah I got a little video of it flickering away, it was 144bpm ❤️😁

TheOrangeMonster · 12/01/2021 13:51

Guys, when do you think I can expect someone to get in touch with me about antenatal care? I'm supposed to be being referred to a midwife by the GP and the obstetrician by the endocrinologist, and I'm not sure if they'll send a letter the day before or something, or if they'll get in touch in advance? What happened for you?
Worried I'm going to miss a letter because the post is so dodgy, and I'm feeling a little bit abandoned again....
Do you think I should book a private scan if I haven't heard anything by the end of the week (6w?)

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 13:52

@SS123456 ooooh see I've been told that indicates boy, mine was fast at 166 which indicates girl, but I'm pretty certain I am having a boy!!!

Is everyone finding out x

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/01/2021 14:03

@AnxiousAnnie86 I won't be finding out - if something goes wrong and I know the sex I will be more upset.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 14:05

@TheOrangeMonster aww that's really sad :( do you want to know? If that's the thing holding you back you'd find out at 20 weeks and if something awful did happen after that, which I'm sure it wouldn't, they would tell you the sex anyway :( x

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/01/2021 14:09

@AnxiousAnnie86 I do, but DH actively doesn't. But surely they wouldn't tell me if I asked them not to?
I've been really struggling to be happy - I honestly thought I would be happier but now I just keep telling myself not to bank on it. I don't even feel pregnant. No, I can't do it. I can't get invested because if it ends badly I won't be able to deal with it.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/01/2021 14:21

@TheOrangeMonster I think it will take some time. I was honestly miserable for the first 12 weeks, I couldn't allow myself to be happy or imagine anything that wasn't negative x

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 12/01/2021 14:38

I'm not sure in terms of the route you are going down with more scans @TheOrangeMonster - maybe ring the midwife if you haven't heard from them and just get clarity on when the scans will be? If not you can always book a private one for peace of mind.
How many weeks are you now?
