4 weeks today!

Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

I had a private scan today as I am not sure if my husband can come to my next one in 2 weeks. This is 11 weeks. 11 weeks is good right? Know I can't fully relax yet but still going strong

@Klprr93 thank you! Yes Tuesday at 11am. It will be the first time I've left the house for nearly a month as I've had covid so it will be interesting to see how well I do walking around and wearing a mask

@Blossom428 don't you feel like it's going slow for us all! I keep telling myself, 8 weeks then I will relax 12 weeks, 16 weeks, I am not relaxing!!! Now I'm panicking because I haven't felt any movement in last day at all, before that it was every few hours z

No they didn't date me ahead. I thought I would be 11 weeks. Because I was started treatment when I found out I was pregnant I knew my dates pretty well lol. I still can't get over it they were moving their arms and legs. Still feels like a miracle. @ss123456 oh no have you been OK in yourself with covid? It is really worrying time as I work in a hospital seeing 50 patients a day and my husband works on a covid ward with really poorly patients so I am concerned I am at high risk of getting It. My husband is having the vaccination on Tuesday but as I am pregnant I obviously can't. How many weeks are you? Did I read right that you had ivf? I have had ivf twice but never had an a transfer. It is such a hard process before the pregnancy even starts. Go for your scan on Tuesday hopefully everything will be OK and you can put covid behind you :)

@Klprr93 so glad all is ok! 😊. That is very scary, I really hope you don't catch it. I haven't been horrendously ill but it has really knocked me for six (perhaps more do because I am asthmatic). I feel really tired and completely out of breath even walking to the next room at the moment. We conceived naturally in the end the month we were due to have our first appointment with the fertility clinic. They put me on baby aspirin and progesterone pessaries due to a miscarriage previously

@SS123456 my husband has asthma and in March he was very unwell all the covid symptoms but his anti body came up negative so I Don't know. We have had ivf twice, no transfer. Then I actually paid for a donor egg but just as I was starting I found out I was pregnant with my own egg. After being on a donor egg waiting list for ages. Also my eggs didn't last past 3 days in a test tube both times.
I was told they were poor quality and my reserve is the same as someone who is 41 and I'm 28. So I was told my only way was a donor egg. I didn't ovulate, my progesterone was checked monthly. The only time I didn't check to see if i had ovulated was the month I fell pregnant. With all that it has been very Hard to accept this pregnancy will be OK. I'm so worried. Now I have seen it at 11 weeks I want to be excited but I just can't. Everyone sayss it happened because I was relaxed the month I fell pregnant but I really wasn't I was so overthinking the donor egg, how I would feel, how the child would feel. I was a state and still going through the motions and Injecting myself ready for a transfer,then I find out I am pregnant
Crazy. I posted on here saying I have had 2 positives tests but I am definitely not pregnant and a few lovely ladies said yes I am ha

@Klprr93 what a journey you have been on but it's so amazing that you managed to conceive on your own in the end! I think the odd of things going wrong after a healthy 11 week scan are slim so try and relax and enjoy it now 😁

@Klprr93 yes, they do say after 12 weeks your chances drop to 1% a 99% chance you are going to have a little happy healthy miracle baby!!! What's meant to be really will be!

@Klprr93 I think they say 12 because that's generally when you first see heartbeat, they actually say once the heart is beating it's very unlikely! So you are already there x

Hahah i felt it was going soooo slow the first 11weeks- but the the past week and a bit I feel have sped up a bit, I think having the scan on Thursday and then the nhs on this Wednesday coming has given me things to look forward to.
But I know after that it's going to be a long slog untill 20weeks. Might be caving for an early gender scan haha. @AnxiousAnnie86

@Klprr93 97% of embryos with a heartbeat have a normal outcome. That's an official stat: @AnxiousAnnie86 is right.

@Blossom428 not a lot I don't think, they may listen to baby heart beat, but think in general just a check up, I have to have bloods done as I am rheusus negative blood so they need to determine baby's blood type early on as if it has positive blood I need to have anti D injections, you'll get a letter in post if that's required though, other then that not much, mine was re arranged it was supposed to be last week but not till end of month now when I will 19 weeks x

Thank you @AnxiousAnnie86 , I am so so nervous! Going on my own is making it worse too as I don't know the area the place is in and they don't have onsite parking so will need to park elsewhere 🙈

@SS123456 ughhhh I had that at my lady I hate not knowing where to park!! I just parked on a road nearby! Don't be nervous be excited! I am pot kettle! I cry every time I go for a scan I'm already losing sleep ahout Thursday! But the relief you will feel when you lay there and they say there it is!!!! Ughhhh best feeling ever! Xx
