4 weeks today!

Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

Aww I know Google is the devil! You would think I would know by now but all my preganancys have been different! I have read they come and go too but I'm just worried that I went to bed last night feeling it all and then hardly any. I hope the symptoms come back good and strong and its just my body changing...I have a scan next Friday, a private one as they arnt doing reassurance scans for reaccuring MCs. I think I'll ring my gp for advice if I still feel nothing! Congrats on your bfp 🤗 take care of yourself xxx

@Milligan85 this one is probably different again!
I keep thinking I can feel period cramps coming on 😱 but it's probably all in my mind. I'm sure you'll get some reassurance next Friday from your scan.

Yes, it feels quite crampy and wee twinges will occur and that's normal! Its so confusing isn't it! They will settle though. 😘 ty!

@TheOrangeMonster I had the worst period pains 4-6 weeks! I don't know if you remember from conception board, but I wasn't even going to test as I was so so convinced period was coming, I still get them on and off x

@Milligan85 welcome and congratulations!!! My boobs don't hurt that much at all anymore! They've just got huge! But they pretty much stopped hurting by six weeks! X

Really? That gives me a lot of hope! I keep telling myself I'm being silly, just relax! That has made me feel a lot let anxious now. Congratulations and I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly for you! Roll on scan next week. Xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 it isn't half confusing is it!
I've asked DH to hide the crappy cheap tests because they're not showing a line getting any darker (in fact mid morning it was barely there but I'd had a load to drink and hadn't long been to the loo either), we're going to get some FRERs tomorrow so I can have an "official" positive on the the day after AF was due, and after that I'm not testing again because I'm just getting myself all worried about chemical pregnancy and miscarriage. Then I'll ring the doctor and just let them do the rest. No more googling either, it's already a done deal if it's going to stick or not.

All these adverts for Clearblue popping up on my YouTube with women being all carefree. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic - but I also kind of don't believe it, and I cannot for the life of me stop worrying. Aaargh!!

@TheOrangeMonster haha don't expect that to stop! I'm 14 weeks and still panic everyday! But you are here you are pregnant! You've got a much higher chance of nothing going wrong.

We've started talking baby names now. We cannot agree on anything at all!!! All the names my husband like a bloody awful! It took us forever to name the dog whays this going to be like 😂

I'm so worried about my dropping rhr at 6 weeks 1 day. I'm 80% sure the sharp rise to 84bpm was covid (I'm pending my results but OHs son who was with us over Christmas has tested positive) but it's dropping really quick 😩

@SS123456 if you're really worried let your doctor know, but it could just be fluctuations and from what I've read usually things like heart rate and hormone levels can take a while to go back to normal after mc is complete so it's unlikely that they would do that before one even happened. I know this sounds ridiculous to say but the first month I stopped tracking things was the month I relaxed enough to get pregnant - perhaps you should stop tracking things during your pregnancy (unless you've been told to by your doctor)? It might give you less cause for concern.

@SS123456 don't ready too much into rhr mine varies so so much! In the beginning I had to stop wearing my watch as I was becoming obsessed some days it would drop to one ovulation levels others it's really high! Still does that now XX

Thank you @TheOrangeMonster and @AnxiousAnnie86 ! I think because of the mc in October I am now crazily on edge about everything. I was meant to be having a 7 week scan with the fertility clinic I'm under next week but I will have to postpone due to covid now 😔

No sign of AF this morning so far and another symptom appeared (I think probably a bit gross to reveal). My boobs are still really really sore (yay!)

I'll go and get some FRERs later today and do one tomorrow morning and then that'll be it, no more testing. How is everyone today? I'm taking my decorations down (I have a thing about them coming down as soon as the New Year starts....)

@SS123456 can you do a private? We did one at seven to try calm the nerves a little x

@AnxiousAnnie86 that's what I was due to have next week but OH has tested positive for covid this morning and I'm pretty sure I am too 😔

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm really angry about it. My OHs ex sent his son to us without telling us he was pending test results. As if early pregnancy isn't worrying enough 😔

@SS123456 argh, that's really selfish and annoying of them. I'm really sorry that's the case, I hope you don't feel too rubbish!

@AnxiousAnnie86 what did they do at your private scan? I'm thinking of trying to get one because I'm going to have made myself sick with worry if I have to wait until 12 weeks!

@TheOrangeMonster nothing really is was basically just a reassurance scan was pretty quick! But enough to settle nerves a little! They show you baby and let you listen to heartbeat snd check your ovaries... I wouldn't recommend before 7 weeks as there won't be much to see and may not be a heartbeat which would of just freaked me out!!! We had one at 7 + 4 and it looked like a little gummy bear! Then we had nhs at 10+5 and it looked bigger again and slightly clearer! Then our last one was at 13 and it was so so so clear it was mad! Saw all it's little fingers and everything!

Sorry to here about possibly having Covid... hopefully it won't affect you too badly if you are. @SS123456 and yeah I stopped tracking my temp and everything after my BFP as o kept over analysing.

I had a private scan at 7weeks and a few days, couldn't hear the heart beat but she pointed it out to us on the screen. It did give a lot of reassurance though considering I literally had no symptoms- only a small bit of bloating.
I think I'm going to book another private scan for next Thursday when I'll be 11+6, as my hospital still hasn't changed it so partners can come in, and I really want OH to be involved as much as possible.

Glad AF is a no show today @TheOrangeMonster - get your FRER and then you can relax a little 😊
Are you getting a bump @AnxiousAnnie86? I feel like it's a little harder on my stomach now.

@Blossom428 yeah! No hiding it now definitely look pregnant 🥰 my sickness has returned which I'm gutted about!!! How are you feeling any more symptoms yet? X

Well, I officially missed my period and then this morning got an unequivocal positive. DH had this excellent idea of using a digital that doesn't say weeks, because then I can't read into the strength of a line and I can't panic that it hasn't gone up to 2-3 weeks from 1-2 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Good man.
So that makes me 4+2. I'm ringing the doctor tomorrow. So I think I can officially join the journey now! Bring it on!

Ohhh no @AnxiousAnnie86 so sorry to hear the sickness has returned!! I've had a few headaches and just feeling tired and needing a nap part way through the day. Nothing too much to complain about though. Really can't wait for this next scan just to make sure all is good 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

@Blossom428 when is it?? Must be soon! I can't wait to see it! I loved my scan photo from 13 weeks it was so so clear 😍

We find out if it's a boy or girl on 16th! X
