Hi ladies! New to this board just moved over from conception! Cannot quite believe it! I'm panicking as it's been a year (exactly!!) Since my miscarriage, and now I have backache and light cramps! Is that normal at four weeks can anyone put my mind at ease? X

I'm all good over here.... we've told some family over Christmas like my parents and partners parents and siblings, which has been so special!
How was your Christmas @AnxiousAnnie86 ? X

Klprr93 · 28/12/2020 16:01

My nausea/hunger feeling is back. Hoping that is a good sign it did go for 3-4 days. My parents know because of the fertility treatments we have had and have had help with. They knew the day I had a positive test. My mom calls me every day saying "do you still feel sick" lol at Xmas they kept mentioning when the baby is here and I had to say calm down let's just wait till the 12 weeks. I still can't believe I had paid my donor cycle and started. My husband got the money back from the clinic last week. I just kept putting it off thinking we were tempting fate lol I find it so hard to accept everything will be OK when we have been through so much. I don't like being so negative and I know it drives my family and husband mad lol

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/12/2020 13:22

@TheOrangeMonster welcome!!!! Congratulations again lovely xx

@Klprr93 I think it's perfectly normal when it's been such a journey! You darent let yourself have hope! I still check for bloody every single time I go to loo! I still panic that I don't feel sick or I feel "normal" and my 14 weeks on Friday!

Just try to let yourself enjoy this moment! You ARE pregnant right now! My dad always says don't ruin today by worrying about tomorrow, as no amount of worry will change the inevitable xxxx

Hello everyone!
Thanks @AnxiousAnnie86 for adding me on here.
I hope everyone is doing ok today!
Goodness me, I thought as soon as I got pregnant I'd relax - now all I can think about is worrying it's going to be a chemical seeing as I got such an early positive. 🤦‍♀️
Are there lots of other first-timers here?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/12/2020 15:41

So happy to have you join this thread @TheOrangeMonster 😆😆

Klprr93 · 30/12/2020 10:05

@AnxiousAnnie86 your dad is right :)

I felt rubbish last few days so that's good although I could do with it going away by tomorrow I don't think patients will like my heaving around them and a 12 hour shift with a mask on feeling rubbish is no fun. Hope your all well today

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/12/2020 18:42

@Klprr93 ughhhhh masks are the worst when you feel sick!! Try sucking a mint under it. That sometimes helps or put a tiny bit of vicks on the outside xx

I need a bit of advice - tested on a whim 9dpo with boots early result as it's what I had in the cupboard - positive (in photo). Tested 10 and 11dpo with clear blue digital, came up as positive 1-2 weeks.
Then yesterday and today all I had was Waitrose tests which are supposedly 25ml sensitivity, and today's seemed to take ages to come up and they both seemed to be pretty faint - but I've heard of Waitrose ones being a bit hit and miss. Should I be worried? I couldn't get any FRERs or Clearblues as the shop ran out. What do you guys think? 13dpo today, AF would be due tomorrow.

4 weeks today!
AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/01/2021 09:52

@TheOrangeMonster I wouldn't worry at all, all tests are different, so they won't show the same line, try not to test too much, I texted multiple times a day and drove myself utterly insane, I tested until my tests started to go light again!!!! X

Blossom428 · 01/01/2021 09:56

Still a defo positive line there @TheOrangeMonster ! I'm very sure this is your time 😊 keep positive!!

Happy new year ladies.... can officially say this year we will meet our little baby's 👶🏻✨

TheOrangeMonster · 01/01/2021 10:10

@Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 thanks - I think you're right about different tests showing different kinds of lines. Given how strong that 9dpo BfP was I'm also freaking out that it's an ectopic pregnancy. I don't know what the sensitivity of the Boots own one is (I think it's 15 or 20). My little sister just had emergency surgery to remove one of her ovaries yesterday so I'm a bit scared there's something in the air. Can't tell the doctor until Monday either because AF isn't late by my reckoning, though given my cycle length would have been 45 days this time they'll do their usual and say I must be further along than I thought.
Argh! I wanted this to be happy time, why is it now more stress time??!! 😩

AnxiousAnnie86 · 01/01/2021 11:04

@TheOrangeMonster I had that! I knew I was two weeks earlier then nhs were dating me as I'd had a private scan snd knew when I'd ovulated! But they will keep you at there guessing until 12 week scan, which was actually 10 weeks for me, then got another at 13 it's good you just get to see baby twice :) x

Hi guys, congrats to you all. I have three DC and I've had two mmc and one mc (recently in September) I am currently 5weeks and 5days and from the get go my boobs have been aching every single day! Also I feel bloated and just feel pregnant! This morning I'm freaking out and feeling really emotional as I woke with very little breast pain and feel like my bloated tummy is no longer there! Has anybody had this in the past or experienced it and went on to have a healthy baby. I'm worried that my hcg levels are going down 😥😭 I can't stop googling.
Xxxx

TheOrangeMonster · 01/01/2021 15:12

@Milligan85 I can't help you out with experience but I get you on the too much googling thing. I'm panicking about all sorts of silly nonsense and googling far too much, and I have to be not even four weeks yet (AF due tomorrow but bfps this week)! Perhaps contact your Dr on Monday. I read somewhere that someone had had sore boobs that came and went so perhaps it's just that?
We have to stop googling, it's bad bad bad!
