I’m 9ish weeks today, and feeling quite good? My boobs are still so sore and heavy, but I don’t feel sick and I don’t even feel as tired as usual. Now I’m concerned!

Fruitloops34 · 05/11/2020 16:17

@swiftt Oh don’t jinx it! At 9 weeks I had a few days where I felt okayish and it came back like a ton of bricks.

Your hormones have probably levelled out but once they take off again you’ll probably feel it. Or maybe you are one of this people that starts to feel better really quickly. I wouldn’t worry.

Fruitloops34 · 05/11/2020 16:19

@Buffbeag and @GrandTheftWalrus Well done on your scans! So pleased for you both!

sunnysideup3 · 05/11/2020 16:19

@swiftt I'm 9 wks today and I also feel much better than before. I had nausea from about 5wks to now, I still feel it once in awhile but it's not as bad. And I'm not as tired anymore either! Boobs still sore though 😭 Hope that calms your anxiety a bit!

sunnysideup3 · 05/11/2020 16:21

@Fruitloops34 oh nooo, not what I wanted to hear 😂😂 Oh well, I'll brace myself for the second wave of symptoms haha

Buffbeag · 05/11/2020 16:22

@GrandTheftWalrus congrats! Scan is so cute. I'm due the 13th of May 😊

I thought I had started to get on top of my symptoms but last night at work I felt awful most of the shift, felt like throwing up most of the time lol

TheDaydreamBelievers · 05/11/2020 17:52

We need a new thread name! This one is about to become full! Any ideas?

@Fruitloops34

@sunnysideup3

Thanks ladies! I’ll try and enjoy it whilst it lasts...

Welliedays · 05/11/2020 18:46

@swiftt my symptoms completely vanished overnight at about 7 or 8 weeks and never came back. All was well at my 12 week scan so try not to worry its likely your placenta has started to take over which does reduce symptoms for some people

Welliedays · 05/11/2020 18:48

@thedaydreambelievers how about Scottish mamas Due march-July (think that gets most of us in?

ladymary86 · 05/11/2020 20:00

Hey everyone,

Has anyone else been suffering with a really upset stomach? I feel like it's been constant for me but it's been particularly bad tonight and to make things worse, I noticed a tiny (really the tiniest but it was definitely there) tongue of blood when I wiped.
I'm really hoping it's nothing. I think I'm 8+5 and we are due to go to a private scan on Saturday at lunch time. I've not had a booking appointment yet, will an EPU see me?? I don't have any contact details so I wouldn't even know where to start getting in touch with them.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 05/11/2020 22:22

@ladymary86 my tummy has been funny in every direction - constipation, diarrhoea, windy etc. I think hcg completely messes with your gastric system! When you say blood do you mean in vaginal discharge or from bum?

@Welliedays sounds good! I'll create something when we get onto page 40!

@TheDaydreamBelievers discharge...

Welliedays · 06/11/2020 07:36

@ladymary86 it's probably highly unlikely EPU would see you as they'd likely say its common and the blood isn't soaking through a pad but give them a call anyway to check. The best way to get them is to call the midwife or doctors first who can give you the number

TheDaydreamBelievers · 06/11/2020 08:02

@ladymary86 NHS GGC EPU (they call it Early Pregnancy Assessment Service) is 0141 201 2331

Thank you @TheDaydreamBelievers
I'll call them when I've dropped the kids off.
I had a MMC before I had my DS and I'm really hoping they don't just want me to "wait and see".
That would be awful

Welliedays · 06/11/2020 09:59

@ladymary86 explain you've previously had a mmc and they should be happier to see you

ladymary86 · 06/11/2020 10:00

Thanks @Welliedays
I'm at the EPAC now

Welliedays · 06/11/2020 10:02

Ahh that's good @ladymary86 I always like to warn people they won't always see you as when I was having an early miscarriage they wouldn't see me as I wasn't bleeding enough for their liking! I'm pleased they're seeing you though

ladymary86 · 06/11/2020 13:49

Had a scan this morning at EPAC and all is well thankfully!!!
Spending this afternoon having a really long nap 😴 just feeling really relieved
