Feeling burpy, bloated, and anxious!

Anyone else had an awful day? I had a mini breakdown this afternoon and burst into tears for no reason. Had to take myself to bed for a nap 🙄 my partner now thinks I'm crazy lol

I think I'm just finding it hard not having anyone else to talk to about the pregnancy symptoms but him. As amazing as he is, he really doesn't get how much your body goes through when pregnant.

@Buffbeag I had a rubbish day yesterday, had some breakfast and after that felt nauseated all day. The only thing that I could do was sleep to try and get away from that horrible 🤢 slept on the sofa all afternoon then went to be at half past 7, didn't get up until half past 7 this morning and had a much better day today. I do also burst into tears at the smallest inconvenience though! The joys!

I’m finding it a struggle to have every day spent trying to deal with nausea. Got a prescription for stemetil today so I’m hoping that helps.

Ladies, keep pushing through and you will feel so much better soon. I really think I’m starting to turn a corner now at 14 weeks.

@fruitloops34 we've told my mum and dad and a few trust worthy close friends. Another 2 weeks and everyone will know.

What a day I've had, I phoned the docs this morning as been so sick and he wanted to see me, tested my urine and they said I was showing markers that dehydration caused and that if it didn't improve in 48 hours I would need to be admitted to get fluids.
Then when I came home I had a call from the midwife and she said that my urine test from last week came back showing signs of an infection so the doctor would call me to arrange antibiotics.
Then the doc called back and said that the type of bacteria they found in my urine was very rare and there was no oral treatment and that I would need to be admitted to hospital and have a course of antibiotics through an IV.
He asked if I was showing any symptoms of a UTI including being sick and being tired/fatigue. And I was saying how sick ive been and ive not really taken notice of anything else, so he said I had to go back up and hand in another urine sample that they would get to the lab today and get my results back in 48hours. if the bacteria is still there then they will have no option but to admit me as it can be really dangerous if left untreated 🙄🙄
So looks like i will be the proud winner of a 3 day holiday in Monklands 😭

I’ve been such a horrible bitch to my DH recently, I feel so shit about it but I dunno, I just feel like I don’t want him around me every so often.. he’s really struggling because I know he wants to help out and make me feel better but I have been pushing him away and he’s getting really upset over it.. I dunno what to do 😓

@queenbee95 my DH fav quote is "can't wait till your not fuckin pregnant" as I too am either being a bitch or an overly needy cow.
He survived the first pregnancy lol your DH will be fine, he just needs to understand thst you are growing a tiny human all on your own, you are allowed to be a cow, bitch, needy, teary, anything you want ❤️

@Fruitloops34 that's reassuring. Although 14 weeks feels like forever away for me 😭 I'm just around 9 weeks. Trying to remind myself it'll end one day.

@rosegoldivy oh gosh that sounds like a very stressful day! Hope it's all ok and you don't need to be admitted to hospital.

@Queenbee95 I actually sometimes think I hate my hubby 😂 him breathing annoys me just now and he works nightshift so on his rest days when he is in bed I wanna smother him, he is being so sweet making me anything I want and rubbing my back when being sick 🤢 I am hoping once the sickness passes I will love him again haha!

Hi everyone, I was reading through all the posts a while ago, and then felt so exhausted and sick, I've literally spoke to as few people as possible, been signed off work for the last 5 weeks. I'm now 13 weeks, according to the dating scan, and I just can't wait to feel better
The sickness is a lot better, still burping constantly and can only eat small amounts but the breathlessness and exhaustion is still a killer. Don't know if I'll even be ready to go back to work next week.

Is anyone else so fixated on getting better that they aren't excited? I'm honestly not excited, I've told people but with no enthusiasm or excitement really. Close family have known for weeks because we've needed a lot of help with childcare due to the pregnancy xxxx

Stemetil seems to be helping a bit, actually feel more like my usual self now.

So far don’t hate my boyfriend but I’m sure it will come 😂 They get it far too easy!

@fattymumbum it’s terrible just how bad pregnancy makes you feel.

@fattymumbum I'm also fixated on just getting through the first trimester tbh. I think that's ok, we'll have plenty of time to get excited about the little ones when/if we feel better later on. I'm trying to allow myself to feel whatever I need to feel - and currently it's exhaustion! 😅

@barbiemummy20 why is there breathing SOOOOO loud? Is there any need to breathe that loud? 😂😂😂

Sounds crazy but he literally storms into rooms and it is doing my head in...god help him when I am nearing my due date haha

Aww yes door opening he comes in at 5:30am and the door is so loudly opened and closed then he takes his boots off and throws them on hall floor and makes all sort of noises getting changed, he is a big pest 😂

@buffbeag @barbiemummy20 did they always eat so noisily too???? And did they always fidget so much????

DH even felt not well the other day and had the audacity to moan he felt sick. I was like "don't fuckin start me" 😂😂😂

Apparently I have a urine infection as well. First I knew was when midwife phoned this morning.

@fattymumbum, I totally agree with the not excited thing! I almost feel bad as we took a year to get pregnant but I've felt so rubbish and out of sorts that all I can focus on is getting through the weeks until trimester 2 and hoping the magical but kicks in then!! My partner is so excited and I'm being such a killjoy! Hopefully my scan on Friday will make it seem more real and I can start getting excited!! We'll get through this first stage and maybe become the other extreme!! ;-)

@rosegoldivy thankfully the eating thing hasn't got to me yet 😂😂

First scan today! little one measuring bang on 10 weeks so going back on the 19th for the 12 week scan. So crazy to see the heartbeat and to see it move

@TheDaydreamBelievers aww amazing! Glad it went well, I have my 12 week scan tomorrow morning although hopefully should be measuring about 13 weeks 🤞

@TheDaydreamBelievers it's the best feeling isn't it, seeing that little heart thudding away. I can't wait to see it again ❤️
