I was really worried because my nausea and fatigue disappeared about a week ago and haven't returned but today got to see our wee one at 8+6 with a lovely strong heart beat!❤️

My next one is 2nd! Lots close together!

@HeyDW96 looks lovely!!

Queenbee95 · 27/10/2020 18:37

@Buffbeag oh really? I’ve never heard of an app before!

I’m guessing my bloods were fine as I never heard back from her and nothing was mentioned at my scan

Queenbee95 · 27/10/2020 18:39

Aw how lovely @HeyDW96!

Oh god you are all making me jealous now, my next scan isn’t until 10th December, starting to wish I booked that private gender scan in November 😅

rosegoldivy · 27/10/2020 18:48

So exciting to hear everyone's scan dates coming up. We have a private scan on Sunday and our dating scan in the 11th November.

Has my face to face with mw today for my bloods and everything and set me back up on the app.
Is everyone using the app?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 27/10/2020 18:55

I have not seen the app. What is the app?

Also I was feeling smug about being quite symptomless but the last 2 days I feel AWFUL

I'm on the maternity notes app. No paper anymore.

butterfly193 · 27/10/2020 19:13

I still don't have my scan date yet 😫got my booking appointment on the 17/11 by then I'll be 12 weeks 😳

HeyDW96 · 27/10/2020 19:22

@TheDaydreamBelievers your midwife should give you the information to access the app and your maternity notes

TheDaydreamBelievers · 27/10/2020 19:27

@HeyDW96 thank you! They told me I'd need to pick up my notes after my scan so I'm wondering if GGC are still doing paper notes?

rosegoldivy · 27/10/2020 19:28

@thedaydreambelivers think the app was rolled out in 2018 (ish) I had it for my last pregnancy when it was still relatively new but your mw should set it up for you.
It's so much handier to have defo

Buffbeag · 27/10/2020 19:32

@butterfly193 I was 11 weeks when I got my booking appointment and will be 13 when I get my first scan. It's hard to not be impatient lol

Daffodil21 · 27/10/2020 19:41

I've got the app too. My scan is an extra one though because the midwife was lovely and said that I had ground for an extra reassurance one due to history, so it'll only be 8 weeks or so at that point, not the 12 week one. When I went for bloods the nurse put my details through to the midwife and she gave me a call and set me up on the app etc, but I think that's just because of history etc that's it's so early. I can't bring myself to read all the leaflets etc on it yet, so it's just sitting dormant on my phone until after Monday if everything is ok..!

It really does seem to vary place to place!

Daffodil21 · 27/10/2020 19:42

@Buffbeag you need all the patience in the world!! That's ages!

Buffbeag · 27/10/2020 19:44

@Daffodil21 I know! It's getting harder to keep it a secret as well as starting to show a little bit now 🙄

Daffodil21 · 27/10/2020 19:52

For those who don't have the app, it's just got loads of leaflets loaded into it, and it shows all your appointments (unless I'm missing anything else)

@Buffbeag that's lovely!! How long to go until your scan??

Buffbeag · 27/10/2020 20:07

@Daffodil21 another week to go. Hoping my 4 night shifts go quickly this week 😴

singleandttc · 27/10/2020 21:14

I'm feeling rather sorry for myself tonight. Started on prochlorperazine as the cyclizine wasn't helping much but making me sleep all day. It's not going well. I've not kept anything down at all today 😭 If tomorrow doesn't go better I'll have to call the drs again. I'm about 4/5lbs down this week.. thank goodness grandparents are allowed to help with childcare.

Queenbee95 · 28/10/2020 06:49

I have the traditional blue folder, didn’t have a clue there was now an app.

You sound just like I did @singleandttc, thankfully my nausea and sickness disappeared around 10 weeks or I really wouldn’t be able to cope. Nothing the docs were prescribing was helping me at all

sunnysideup3 · 28/10/2020 12:15

@singleandttc so sorry that the medicine is not helping! I can't imagine how difficult it must be. The nausea makes me completely exhausted.

My nausea got better over the last few days but I'm not sure if it's because I was off work and I was quite busy. When I sit and relax the nausea comes back. My scan is not until 30th Nov 😭 so excited for everyone's scans x

Gaxy1 · 28/10/2020 13:24

Hey guys. For those who have morning sickness, when did it start levelling off? I’m only 5 weeks but each days gets worse. This morning was pretty bad 🤢

TheDaydreamBelievers · 28/10/2020 13:43

@Gaxy1 I think typically between week 9 and 12?

OP posts:
Gaxy1 · 28/10/2020 14:04

Thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers. Hopefully it won’t get too bad.

singleandttc · 28/10/2020 15:15

I'm 9+4 at the moment. The new tablets are doing nothing. In my first pregnancy it got better around 12 weeks then a second, worse wave hit at 13 weeks and continued to 32 weeks..I really hope it's not like last time!
