@Queenbee95

That was meant to say “that sounds terrible”

Blooming phone autocorrecting to utter nonsense.

rosegoldivy · 14/10/2020 15:19

@thedaydreambelivers my DH says I'm being more of a psycho than normal and he can tell his breathing annoys me 😂😂😂😂

@mrswilso I have my fingers crossed for you.

ladymary86 · 14/10/2020 15:24

@TheDaydreamBelievers my DP is trying not to comment on anything at the moment. I have to say so far he's been really patient and supportive while I'm constantly complaining about feeling nauseated and having sore boobs.
He's been getting me drinks and things to nibble and yesterday he went to lush and bought me some lovely bath bombs. He even checked which ones were safe during pregnancy with the staff 🥰

Sexnotgender · 14/10/2020 15:52

@sunnysideup3

Thanks sharing the way you've done things ladies 😌 I'll just go with 'doctor's appt' for now.

In other news, today I can't decide whether I'm starving or nauseous! Such a weird feeling haha

I’ve been like that for ages. Can’t decide if I’m hungry or want to vomit. Super fun.
TheDaydreamBelievers · 14/10/2020 15:55

@ladymary86 - do you know how hot a bath we are allowed? I tried to have a bath but made it too cold because I'm worried about not being allowed to heat up so it wasnt relaxing!

@Daffodil21 , thanks for asking! They managed to get bloods this morning! Went in full of water so was mega hydrated. I have a whopper of a bruise but it'll take that for the sake of getting all the checks!!

When we got our scan letter it noted no partners, but when I asked if DH was allowed. They said no change so yes he would be! Which is great.

HeyDW96 · 14/10/2020 19:06

Had my booking appointment face to face today, midwife was lovely. I have to take 150mg aspirin from 12 weeks due to my mum having pre-eclampsia with my sister. Have my private scan on the 27th and still waiting for my 12 week one in the post!

ladymary86 · 14/10/2020 21:14

@TheDaydreamBelievers I don't really like a bath that's too hot anyway, I just make it warm to touch

mrswilso · 15/10/2020 08:55

Morning ladies 💕
So my scan last night didn't give us any real hope 🥺 the girl was so lovely and spent 40 minutes with me but she could only see a 5mm sac, it looked empty 💔 she did say it was quite small and that she would have been much happier if she'd seen a yolk but I could just be a bit too early. I dunno though...I think I could only really be off by a few days at most...I had super regular cycles and seen my surge on OPKs.
She told me to call Wishaw EPU today and let them know that she found an empty sac last night, they should bring me in and rescan me at some point soon and take it from there.

PandemicBabyPlz · 15/10/2020 08:55

Has anyone else not yet had any booking appointment? How long after phoning up did you hear anything? I feel totally in limbo. No appointment dates for anything - just an email with some links to pamphlets. Wonder if I should phone again?

PandemicBabyPlz · 15/10/2020 08:58

@mrswilso I’m sorry to hear your scan didn’t give you any reassurance :( Xx

butterfly193 · 15/10/2020 09:11

@PandemicBabyPlz I haven't had mine yet got a appointment for the 17/11 but I will be 12 weeks by then so not sure when I will get my scan 😣I hate not knowing anything either it's crap!

barbiemummy20 · 15/10/2020 09:15

@mrswilso I had a very similar scenario, I was scanned at what I thought was 6 weeks and they said they could only see a sac and it was measuring 4+2 and was not sure it was viable they said to take a pregnancy test a week later and of it was still positive then to rescan, I had continual positives and was feeling so unwell so I booked a scan for what would have been 8 weeks according to the first scan and it ended up I was 10 weeks which would have been insync with my original dates and scans, it's so hard so early on but I hope it is a positive outcome for you, take care 💕

rosegoldivy · 15/10/2020 09:34

@mrswilso I'm so sorry to hear the scan didn't go as you had hoped. I will keep everything crossed that it's only because you were a bit early ❤️ hope your okay x

singleandttc · 15/10/2020 10:15

@mrswilso I'm sorry the scan didn't give the reassurance you'd hoped for. Fingers crossed it is just a little too early. Sending hugs.

Fruitloops34 · 15/10/2020 10:41

@mrswilso

Sorry to hear scan didn’t go as planned. Let’s hope it’s just a bit early and the next scan will be positive news.

swiftt · 15/10/2020 10:56

@mrswilso sorry to hear your scan didn’t go great. Sending positive thoughts, keep us updated.

mrswilso · 15/10/2020 11:28

Thanks girls 💕
Your story's helping me to hold out a little more hope @barbiemummy20
I've got an appointment at Wishaw next Thursday to see if anything changes.

GrandTheftWalrus · 15/10/2020 11:50

My booking appointment (I'm assuming) is on the 21st. Then ill hopefully get booked in for my scan

Welliedays · 15/10/2020 12:59

@mrswilso fingers crossed its just a little early, how many weeks are you? I know that EPU won't see you before 6 weeks as there's nothing to see, so if you're not 7 weeks yet even though you are sure of your dates, conception to implantation etc can all take varying lengths which can alter the weeks when you get your dating scan (my sister is due a week earlier than her original date), so you may still be right on the cusp of being able to see anything. Fingers crossed the EPU will pick something up when you go

Buffbeag · 15/10/2020 13:09

@mrswilso I will be keeping lucky thoughts for you that it will be ok x

Anyone else find that their symptoms lessened a little bit when they hit 10 weeks?

Fruitloops34 · 15/10/2020 13:19

@Buffbeag

Oh I wish, I’m 11+1 and still feel crap.
I’m not too bad during the day, but come 4-5pm the nausea and the sickness starts. Then to top it off, yesterday I had a migraine that lasted alllllll day and today I’ve got that migraine hangover that you get.

My plus of today though is that I managed to eat a roll and sausage and jam donut. Honestly see after eating nothing but toast for weeks it was so nice to have flavour in my mouth.

barbiemummy20 · 15/10/2020 13:34

I feel rather sprightly today which is a bonus, my wee one and hubby were out today and I had bloods apt so treated myself to a panini and soup in the local bistro, was bliss! I have my 12 week scan on 27th Oct all very exciting! Feels so real now that I have had booking apt and bloods and they gave me the ready steady baby book so will have fun browsing that! I am 10+6 and honestly it feels like time has slowed down it's murder but now thinking I am 1/4 of the way there 😂

Buffbeag · 15/10/2020 13:35

@Fruitloops34 I am finding that during the day I tend to be feeling a bit better. Still a bit nauseous at night and in the morning but not nearly as bad as I was a couple of weeks ago.

I would still say I am not eating properly though. Bread is about all I can properly eat just now 🙄

rosegoldivy · 15/10/2020 15:36

Has anyone else completely went off everything food wise?

I'm not in mood for anything. Don't want anything. But I need something. Defo not something hot. But I don't want a sandwich. Or any if the 385 other suggestions DH had made.

I even went to the shop earlier coz I wanted juice but didn't know what juice I wanted so I ended up with about 5 diff things. Turns out it was apple juice that I didn't know I needed 😂

Last time I had distinct cravings for melon and pineapple this time I'm turning my nose up at everything
