So I just caught up on a weeks worth of posts! I'm currently 6+2. I'm getting bad nausea and finding eating little and often helps that. Im also feeling light headed, extremely fatigued and lazy. I've had toothache for almost 2 weeks, I visited the dentist to be told it's my 3rd case of Pericoronitis so the wisdom teeth are coming out! Who knows how long that will all take with covid. This heat is doing my head in, I'll be glad when its winter and I can get cosy on the sofa with a blanket and wax melts ha!

I'm still taking tests each morning and today I believe I experienced the hook effect! Never heard of it before today!

My line progression looks exactly the same as yesterday whilst all the others looked much darker, does that indicate a problem?

@Serethiel I had to look up the hook effect! Interesting stuff. I hope you don't have to wait long with your wisdom teeth but also urgh - I'm sorry you're going through it right now!

@ohsotrying I don't think that means a problem at all, they are only going to get so dark so they can't keep progressing at the same rate as in the early early days. Worry not!!

Hi, new here. I'm cycle day 36 and 4 days late with 4 negative tests. If positive I'd be due middle to end of April. I'll post my negative test incase anyone can see differently

I've just joined up to this site as I believe I have got a very unexpected BFP!
First response and clearblue both showing positive.
Scared, shocked, unsure what to think or where to turn! X

After 7 months of symptom spotting and worrying at every little thing, in July we just dtd ALL THE TIME over the fertile window. These last few weeks I have get no twinges, no sore boobs, nothing. Had some v heavy spotting starting last weds I was so sad. my sister said to me that she's had a dream the night before that I was pregnant (she doesn't know we have been trying). Took a test Thursday afternoon and low and behold a BFP! Spotting continued til Saturday. Test Sunday - again a BFP.

Excited but also know it's a reeeeally long time to 15th April...!

@stitchandangel congratulations! I also don't really know what to do or where to turn. I've been checking the NHS website for ideas about dates of tests, food I can/not eat, also looking at some websites for some maternity clothes to see what's out there.

I’m a lurker but haven’t posted yet. I’m due April 13th and I’ll be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

I’ve been having cramping on my lower left side kind of at the top of my leg and mostly after I’ve been walking about. It goes when I sit down for a bit. It doesn’t hurt just I just notice it - more so if I’ve done a lot of walking! I’ve had no bleeding at all. Do you think it could be an ectopic or just standard stretching etc?

Hi @jlm1008 it's most likely normal stretching, especially if you've not had any bleeding. I'd monitor for a few days and if ita still there and one sided then speak to your epu. I had the same since last Thursday (I'm 5+4) and spoke to epu today, I had to be referred by my gp but went in for a scan and everything was in the right place!

@JLM1008 I've been having the same.. when I was late on my period (before I found out I was pregnant last week) I went for a walk and was having a pulling, stitch like cramp in my left side and I knew at that point that I could be pregnant because I had the same thing when I was pregnant with my DD and she was fine. I've had cramping a bit so far in this pregnancy and although I had it a lot in my pregnancy with DD I still worry but It can be completely normal to have cramps as your body starts to stretch and change ready for the baby to grow so try not to worry. I would only worry if you started to bleed and the pain was more painful.

Thank you @Workingmama1 and @clueless987 I really appreciate your comments and it does put my mind at ease. I’ll keep an eye on it and if it gets worse I’ll get in touch with my midwife. I’ve had 2 healthy pregnancies before this one (albeit 9 and 7 years ago!) but I’ve forgotten how it all feels! And dr google always goes straight to ectopic or miscarriage! It’s so stressful.

@JLM1008 I just came on the thread to post a similar question! I'm 5+2 and yesterday I started to get a twinge on my right side. It isn't constant or particularly strong but at this particular moment, I'm getting a twinge every few minutes. Like you say, Google always sends you to ectopic! This is my first pregnancy after a long journey to get here so I'm probably over analysing everything! It's nice to see some reassurance from others.

Jumping on here a little late as I was originally due at the end of March. After an early scan detecting no baby, some bleeding, another scan detecting no baby and then definitely a little bean with a heartbeat! my due date has shifted to April 3rd.

Hello! Tested a strong positive this morning on a FRER, expected it to be negative as it's only the first expected day of my period. Will ring the GP tomorrow now Hubby knows. Wow was it hard today to keep my excitement to myself!

I got my bfp last Friday and was shocked as to how soon it happened after ttc lol!
Only symptoms so far are a sharp pain every now and then in like my tailbone (I think?) Has anyone else had this?

5+6 weeks today and it's the first day I've felt a bit nauseous, but then works stressing me out today so I don't know whether it's just a bunch of things making symptoms feel heightened if you know what I mean. I keep checking to make sure I'm not bleeding, because I keep feeling a nervous/dread feeling in the pit of my stomach..

Anyone else suffering with migraines? Not sure if it’s the heat or a symptom or both! Not very nice though!

@clueless987 I'm 5+3 and feel the same. Not enjoying the sickness but I'd only be worrying if it went away! Crackers/ biscuits are helping (well, not helping the waistline!)

I'm a little earlier in the game compared to some of you I think. Last period started 7th July so I'm only in wk4 so no symptoms other than sore boobs which have lessened today. I'm worried it was a false positive now....but the line was strong and it's still there 24 hrs later? I've got no more tests left so just ordered some to check tomorrow. Things is in my excitement I've gone and already registered with the midwifery team! 😆.. It'll be embarrassing if it is a false positive! But it's the first one I've ever had... I've had irregular periods and thwn a scan saying I was slightly PCOS so did the Fast800 diet and lost half a stone and voila!....Hope it's genuine, it's not faint in any way...(and are the emoticons disabled now?)
