I also have DSD so this will be number 5 in our house. Completely unplanned and definitely our last one but we are over the moon.

Heartburn is absolute murder today. I'm on beta blockers for a delightful heart condition, I was given special tablets to stop heartburn because my beta blockers gave it to me. But it's managed to get straight through them and still affect me today 😫 not cool.

@Nervousnewcomer 👋I think we are 4+3... (in the 5th week) but it is confusing! I'm not great today, I've been tired with sore boobs for the last couple of weeks, but it's the first day of feeling really rough... how are you?

Can I join?! I found out I was pregnant the other day, very scared as I have a 10 month old and this was a suprise to say the least. I assume I'm around 5 weeks which means I should be due around 8th of April. Is anyone here having an early scan? when I was pregnant with DD I had so many early scans but I don't know what's happening with scans now with covid. What's everyone else's experience been if anyone's had one yet? Thank you

@lizzzyy That makes sense so me! Aww same with the sore boobs and tiredness. Had my first wave of nausea today too which surprised me as I thought that might start in a couple of weeks.

@clueless987 I'm going to pay to have an early scan. There's twins in my family and I'd rather know sooner if it's twins for me

I have booked an early scan but on a really silly day (we have plans) and I've left a message asking if I can change it but not heard anything back. It's annoying. So do I miss the big bbq and attend the scan or kiss goodbye to my deposit? I'm such an idiot 🙈

Ooh twins @supersonicginandtonic how would you feel about that? The thought terrifies me but I'm sure we would cope.. eventually!

@Nervousnewcomer - yeah the nausea is a killer and I definitely thought it would start later!

@supersonicginandtonic - twins would be so exciting! You're right, better to know early on and do what you can to prepare.

I'm in Ireland and here they offer early scans at 8 weeks so I've booked in for the end of Aug 😊

Just read through most of the thread as I hadn't before..
@supersonicginandtonic twins would be lovely! I always said I wanted twins but my DD is like the equivalent of having twins, she's full of energy all day long. Knowing my luck I'll have twins this time around 🙈
I think I will book in an early scan maybe for a week or so when I'm over 6 weeks as I'm very impatient. Does anyone know if partners are allowed in to the appointments? I would hate to have a scan on my own.

Hope you're all okay.

Had my appointment letter come through this morning for my first midwifery appointment/scan. 23rd September. ☺️ I did have a separate letter though stating that you're still unable to bring partners to the appointment, however this may change by that date! Hope it does anyway.

@Juicelucee that's my birthday ☺️ how exciting for you.
I've got my first midwife appointment on 18th August then they send you for a scan.

In reply to the twins comments, my dad is a twin and my brother has twins. I'd be happy either way x

Is anybody else feeling really tired during the day but then is very restless throughout the night?

@supersonicginandtonic me!! I could sleep all day but then I struggle to get to sleep and then wake up countless times then awake really early! 😴

@supersonicginandtonic me! I could take several naps during the day but I ride it out, then bed time comes and I'm tossing and turning all night.

I haven't been sleeping properly since I discovered I was pregnant last weekend x

Hey ladies 👋🏻 I just got a BFP, is it all right if I join? My due date is April 20th.

I'm feeling a bit cautious about joining so soon after finding out as it's only been 4 weeks since my period, so very early. I've been TTC my first for 6 months now. On my first month trying, I had a BFP around the same time but it faded over a few days then I bled so crossing my fingers that it's not another chemical 🤞

Need some support during these early weeks as I have no idea what I'm doing 😆
