How is everyone doing today?

I have next to no appetite and have to force myself to eat something most days so I can take Pregnacare. Been really thirsty though so have been taking in loads of fluids so maybe that's making me not feel hungry? Last week when it was a bit warmer I was eating so many fruit ice lollies and drinks with ice too.

Also started getting stomach twinges lately - yesterday I sneezed and I was in so much pain but think it's just the muscles starting to stretch a little?

It's also starting to hit me about being pregnant during this coronavirus malarkey. Already feel like there is absolutely nowhere to go apart from shops and restaurants, and apparently pregnancy yoga etc offered by local NHS is unlikely to be restarted anytime soon. Can't get a face to face GP appointment etc. It's all getting to me a little bit :(

Hi @romaniac123 I've got mild cramping/uncomfortable feelings down by my uterus which is just making me feel mega anxious! We booked in an 8 week scan for 29 August so counting down the days... time seems to be going so slowly, I've not even had my BFP for a week and it feels like months!

Hello 👋 got my bfp today, second baby. DS is 16 months old so gonna have 2 under 2 but I am embracing the madness 🤩

I've just taken a test this evening and it's still faint so I'm a tentative in this group 🤞🏽 but this will be my second baby! Have a 7 month old baby girl currently 💗

Hello, can I join? Just had a BFP today, very early. Approximately due Apr 17 but I'm 40 and already feeling hugely anxious about the increased miscarriage rate, especially since I'm already overweight and not been the best at being healthy and active over lockdown. Are there any others on here of a similar age? Thanks

Hi @romaniac123 I’m also very anxious about Covid-19, I’m a dental nurse and I really don’t want to be at work I wish I could hibernate! It’s such an anxious time anyway let alone with covid-19 😬 Finding it hard to relax...

I still haven't really felt excited I'm afraid! I'm an anxious person by nature and so I'm just taking each day as it comes and hoping for the best. Having early scan at 6.5 weeks and will see how things are by then. However I was the same with my DD and was in early 30s then so maybe it's just me being a worrier! It is a shame not to feel more joy, but I almost don't want to let my guard down.

Late to the party this evening but thought I'd check in, seeming as I'm wide awake and cannot get to sleep for the fourth night on the trot!

I too keep getting the odd twinge and cramping, I keep trying to ignore the cramps as I've seen multiple posts, saying that it's apparently normal? No bleeding or spotting luckily, just slightly yellow discharge when I wipe..

I'm still feeling really anxious about everything opposed to being excited, worrying about everything you can think of! Whether our house is big enough, how our fur baby will take to the human baby when they arrive, how will we survive financially once I'm on mat leave etc.

My best friend who I've told just keeps reassuring me that everyone always finds a way to make it work and there's never a 'right time'.

Fingers crossed I can actually get some sleep tonight, hope you are all okay x

@Juicelucee you'll be just fine honey! It's daunting, I'm presuming your first? With my first I had the same panics and stresses but she is now 7 months, I got broody literally weeks after she was born so I came off the pill in may 🙈🙈 and here I am preggo with no2! Just found out last night. You always find a way 💗

I'm not sure if anybody on this thread would like to but when I was previously pregnant with my first I made friends with a few girls from this site and we had a WhatsApp group in place, we still talk to this day! I've made an email if anybody would like to send me their number to make a WhatsApp group to all keep in touch and support eachother over the months to come then feel free to email me 💗 completely understand if not though everybody is different.

That's a nice idea @pineapplejuice20 ! I did NCT with my first and met some lovely friends but they've all been pretty open with the fact they're not thinking of DC2 anytime soon so I don't think I'll have many people to chat to about all things baby.

Struggling with hot flushes today - can’t stop sweating and overheating! Also lots of wet discharge- already had to change my underwear once! Keep panicking and thinking it’s my period! Obviously it won’t be as I’m pregnant haha!

Also woke up feeling sick today but subsided once I’d eaten. It still hasn’t sunk in yet. Told my mum and sister yesterday and they’re over the moon!

Ladies, how are you all coping with the nausea? Really struggling this week, nothing seems to be shifting it. Also does anyone else normally sleep on their front and is trying to sleep in a different position now before any bumps appear but having difficulty getting a decent sleep. Iv tried propping myself up with a spare pillow at my back but DH says im super restless
