Ooh @penny92 I like the sound of this!! Just pretend to drink - that might just work 😆

LittleBeanie · 30/07/2020 07:26

@penny92 and @glastogal - I have been drinking the cercero 0% gin from Lidl and actually really enjoying it! I thought I would be sneaky and bring it to my DH's family bbq alongside some other alcoholic gins as we were in charge of the gin bar. About an hour in had one of the cousins asking me if it was non-alcoholic, so think I was rumbled 🤣

penny92 · 30/07/2020 07:34

@LittleBeanie Ooh I will have to get my hands on that one. Funny about the cousin spotting it!!

I'm hoping that I can just pop into my bag and surreptitiously pour my "booze" then add the tonic and no one notices! I'll let you know how it goes though.

Good luck @glastogal !

Anyone else have any symptoms going on? My boobs are killing me.. they are so sore!! And gone up a cup size too already I reckon. I tested again today as it was 48hrs after my first test. To me it looks ever so slightly darker but not much. Trying not to panic..

whiteolive · 30/07/2020 09:15

@Farfaraway1 boobs are still sore too. After yesterday’s stabbing cramp episode I spent most of the evening in bed, had an awful dream about not being pregnant so woke up and did another cheap test which was the strongest line I’ve had so far (18 DPO) . I wouldn’t read too much into your lines not being much more darker. From 10DPO to 16DPO mine were all lighter than I’d expect them to be.

It can take 48-72 hours for HCG to double in the first 4 weeks. Your dark line will come 🤞🏻

My boobs are sore too. I'm also very gassy which is charming!

@whiteolive I'm not quite ready to join the fb group - I think I'll wait until after 12 weeks or so. But I'm still a member of my group from dd and it has been so lovely to keep in touch so I'll definitely join at some point! (All being well 🤞)

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:28

Thanks for the lovely reassuring words @whiteolive you’re right of course, I’ve spent probably about an hour just staring at my tests - crazy really isn’t it! Blush I have an appointment with my GP tomorrow so I guess will be good to try and figure out dates (this pregnancy has come straight after a D&C). She’ll send me for bloods to so that will help with the dating.
I would LOVE to join the fb group - one question though.. no one can see that you’ve joined the group right? Like it won’t come up as a suggested group for your friends to join because you’re in it? I’ve had that happen before but don’t know if it was a secret/private group or not..

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:30

@whiteolive sorry to hear about your horrible dream as well Sad they can be so vivid and disturbing can’t they. Pleased you got a strong line on the stick afterwards though! Smile

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:31

@PeachesAndHoney the gas is awful isn’t it! I don’t remember it being this bad with my other two!! I embracing it as a good sign though Smile

penny92 · 30/07/2020 09:35

@Farfaraway1 I've got sore boobs, nipples to be specific - and still got some dull cramping.

I did a cheapy test again today and it looked slightly lighter than yesterday which is making me panic a bit. Confused Going to leave it till after the weekend and then see where I'm at. Just need to resist the urge to POAS!

BB2021 · 30/07/2020 09:39

@farfaraway1
Yes! Plenty of symptoms here... headache, indigestion, fatigue, clumsiness, the occasional hot flush!

Have any of you shared your good news in real life yet? I'll be telling my mum on Saturday, I can't wait!

KO045 · 30/07/2020 09:41

@Farfaraway1im the same - sore, up a cup size already but its the worst at night, i cant get comfy with them being so sore and heavy - i dread to think what size i'll end up in a few months if this is me 7 and a bit weeks in!

also just feeling really sick in the mornings but not physically being sick which i think id prefer to try and get rid of it

2020wish · 30/07/2020 09:46

My nipples feel like inverted razor blades. My boobs feel like bricks, indigestion, insomnia but extreme tiredness, sore legs and thighs, hot flushes, not much appetite apart from first thing in the morning, needing to pee 24/7 and slight nausea and not even 6 weeks yet lol but I welcome it all

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:46

@BB2021 yes I feel like I’ve got a baby rain happening already! I was a little ditsy at work today (it’s Thursday night here) and this morning I was running round the house trying to find my eldest’s school uniform only to find he was already wearing it and I’d been walking past him Grin
I fly to visit my sister in a couple of weeks time so I’ll be telling her then Smile

@penny92 definitely step away from the tests for a few days.. I’m sure you will be rewarded when you test after the weekend!

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:48

@2020wish I know what you mean - I dry retched in the toilet today - that actually made me happy Confused going cray cray!

2020wish · 30/07/2020 09:52

@Farfaraway1 that mental image of u nearly being sick then smiling to urself got me laughing lol

Farfaraway1 · 30/07/2020 09:57

@2020wish Grin hehe

KO045 · 30/07/2020 10:07

@2020wish im the same, its exhausting especially when your trying to keep a low profile until its ok to tell people. we were visiting the in laws at the weekend and i basically spent most of the days lying on my bed trying to get comfy because i was just so tired.

chrissagcat · 30/07/2020 13:08

Going away this weekend and really nervous as with lots of family - think I'll be busted for not having a drink! Not ready to tell at all

whiteolive · 30/07/2020 13:43

@Farfaraway1 sending good vibes for your GP appointment tomorrow. Hopefully the bloods will give you some reassurance, they are going to be more accurate than these obsessive sticks!! Lol - No it won’t come up as suggested, it’s completely private 😊

@PeachesAndHoney be lovely to see you join after the 12 week mark! Being gassy isn’t great, glad OH is working away this week 😂

KO045 · 30/07/2020 13:52

@chrissagcat fingers crossed they arent paying too much attention. we're away too - it'll be in beer gardens that'll get me but im tempted to say to the staff to bring me non alcoholic stuff or i'm going to tell them my IBS is playing up so im not risking it. hope it goes ok though :) x

PeachesAndHoney · 30/07/2020 16:19

Is anyone else really ratty? I don't remember it last time but today it's like I've got a really bad case of PMS and everything is pissing me off!

mammii · 30/07/2020 19:21

Yes!! @PeachesAndHoney

I've been so so ratty and irritable today. Probably not helped by my sleep thieving 7 month old 😂 but still! I do just feel very irritable. Hope this passes for us soon! X

Workingmama1 · 30/07/2020 21:13

Saying hi and hoping I can stick around with you ladies, BPF yesterday, confirmed with a digital today and due 7th April. I already have a 19 month old daughter, had a MMC in April followed by a CP in May so excited but nervous too!

penny92 · 30/07/2020 21:16

Hi @Workingmama1 👋🏻

Also, yes to feeling ratty. I think my partner would agree too! I've also had sore eyes and a mouth ulcer which apparently can be to do with a change in hormones.
