Just wondering ladies, where is your little one usually positioned?
Mine is always on my right side, hardly ever feel it on my left side 🤔
Previous times I've had right/left
Feels odd it's always right now.

Char41zam · 06/11/2020 15:04

@saf mine is the right side yesterday they said her head was down and back and bum over the right she is always kicking either down or to the right!

elfran · 06/11/2020 17:26

Mine moves around but I'd say I normally feel him/her on the lower left section of my bump. Having said that I just felt a movement in the upper right as I typed, so they're obviously quite mobile in there! 😆

babydust2412 · 06/11/2020 19:52

My boy moves like crazy, I feel him everywhere 😂 had a few period like aches so not sure if that could be braxton hicks starting or just round ligament pain? X

@babydust2412 I think it's more ligament pain....i sometimes get it, dull achy pains, and feels sore. Awe you got a proper little wriggler in there 😍

Muriel84 · 07/11/2020 08:31

@Safxxx thanks so much for advice! Been looking at swaddling blankets, going to try one for sure.

My bump is very left sided but I feel kicks all over too, maybe mainly on the right. Mines a real wriggler too... seems even more so the last three days. Even my partner managed to catch a good 5 mins of dancing! X x x

Stef92 · 07/11/2020 15:37

I've been to the maternity unit this morning as baby stopped moving like he had been so they wanted me in for observation. They hooked me up to the machine and you could hear him wriggling whilst they were trying to find his heartbeat. Everything was fine with him though - he's got into a awkward position that I couldn't feel because of my anterior placenta

Safxxx · 07/11/2020 16:15

@Stef92 Oh what a relief.... I'm glad your baby is fine, must have been scary! It's a good thing you got checked as better safe then sorry. Xx

pampero · 07/11/2020 16:18

@Saf mines a right sider too, rarely feel them on the left, always seems to be moving there or low down in the middle! Seems like they're having a right party at times.

@Stef92 you definitely did the right thing going in & glad to hear all is OK 😊

Sleeping bags swaddles, sleepsuit, romper, babygro....so many terms, so many decisions 🤣 (& plenty of Google!)

Stef92 · 07/11/2020 16:38

I cried so much, it was such a relief to hear his heart beat, maternity unit was empty so I got seen straightaway and they made me feel like I was no trouble. Hes moved a bit since I've got home as well.

We've bought a Moses basket as the only place we have for him is the foot of our bed. My aunt has knitted us lots of blankets but don't know if we are going to get sleep bag things, don't really know much about them

Char41zam · 07/11/2020 16:58

@Stef92 glad bubba is well xx

Safxxx · 07/11/2020 19:28

@pampero yeah same...maybe as time goes on they will move to left too 😍

@Stef92 Awe bless you 😘 Hopefuly little one never scares you like that again. Xx

babydust2412 · 07/11/2020 20:18

@Stef92 so glad baby is okay 💙 such a relief after that little scare ❤️ hopefully it doesn't happen again xx

Always better to be cautious - glad all is ok

Lucybbb · 08/11/2020 11:43

Hi all, I'm due in Feb too. Over the past week I've had a stitch-like sensation under my left ribs when I'm sitting down, I'm happy that's it's a normal symptom of pregnancy but I just wondered if anyone else was experiencing this?!

Char41zam · 08/11/2020 12:04

@Lucybbb I have a stitch in my side sometimes I think it’s where the baby is sitting, my new symptom this week is a burning shooting pain in my left boob and it’s so so painful! Never had that before 😕

Safxxx · 08/11/2020 12:52

@Lucybbb Not a stitch but quite uncomfortable in them areas, I believe as the uterus is expanding and going further up, it's compressing on the other organs specialy the stomach.... since yesterday I'm feeling so out of breath... more then usual...feel like I'm not getting enough air...specialy after I've eaten it's worse... I was fanning mysèlf after breakfast tday as I felt so suffocated....
Anyone else feels like this??

Lucybbb · 08/11/2020 12:54

@char41zam
There's something new every week isn't there! I used to get that kind of pain in one of my breasts when I wasn't pregnant, but haven't had it during pregnancy. Makes me think it's hormone related?

Char41zam · 08/11/2020 12:57

Yeah I think it’s milk related, very painful! @Safxxx I am definitely more out of breathe now xx

pampero · 08/11/2020 13:58

@Safxxx not had the breathlessness after eating of late but definitely finding i need to sit more upright for longer after a meal otherwise the heartburn /indigestion kicks in a treat!

Muriel84 · 08/11/2020 18:08

@Safxxx I have this... everything is so squashed in my tum. If I eat a big tea I feel like I can’t breathe when I go to bed and lie down. Have to prop myself up. I’m struggling with food for a few days now. Feel constantly full during the day. Have then gotten so hungry by the evening I am full of hanger, eat and then awful heartburn comes back! I guess it’s not going to get any easier... 😣 x x x

Safxxx · 08/11/2020 18:36

@Muriel84 Nope the last timester is all about these symptoms and more 🙄

Lucybbb · 08/11/2020 21:11

Yes I'm definitely having to prop myself up after eating!

IamC · 08/11/2020 22:53

Anyone else struggling at bedtime? I cannot get comfortable. Side sleeping gives me horrendous backache, even with the giant body pillow as support. Wish I could sleep on my back....
