Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

I’m now thinking of names. I’ve lost it! Was totally convinced this morning that I wasn’t pregnant and now I’m debating Allegra or Elizabeth. DH will hate both so debate is just in my head Blush

Thanks @MissHoney85, that's helpful, will check it out.

My nausea has disappeared now, just bloating and awful heart burn towards the evening. So will try not to eat after 7pm today and see how I go.

Allegra sounds lovely @Onekidnoclue. No matter how much I try I still end up browsing something baby related!

Monday's my nhs scan and just counting down the days to it!

Anyone have really bad headaches, I'm 9+6 and both today and yesterday the headaches are behind my eyes. Could be because of heat, trying to drink plenty of water to ease them rather than taking paracetamol.

Anyone know if the forehead sticks are OK in pregnancy x

WhoUsedMyName · 24/06/2020 20:32

I've been having constant headaches too SadI have been taking paracetamol but I'm not sure it's helping

Onekidnoclue · 24/06/2020 21:29

I think the forehead sticks are fine but I’m not an expert.

Am currently in a&e as had a load of bleeding Sad. They want to scan to confirm miscarriage.

@Onekidnoclue oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that. Everything crossed for you.

Onekidnoclue · 24/06/2020 21:40

Thanks. The amount of blood lost makes me pretty sure I’ve miscarriaged, I’m sad but just so glad it didn’t happen in public or even worse in the office.

@onekidnoclue keeping my fingers crossed for positive news x rest up and let us know how you get on x

Dia12 · 24/06/2020 22:34

Oh no, I'm so sorry you're going through this @onekidnoclue - stay hopeful, you've read all the stories of women who have bled heavily but baby is just fine.
lots of luck, fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Lauraha85 · 24/06/2020 22:42

@Onekidnoclue oh no 😢 let's us know how you get on, I have all fingers and toes crossed for a positive outcome for you

Onekidnoclue · 25/06/2020 00:45

Thanks. A&e was pointless. Five hours to be told they’ll refer me for a scan. Probably Friday or Monday. Most likely a miscarriage so nothing to be done.

Aww @Onekidnoclue sending lots of positive vibes and love your way. Thinking of you xx

Lauraha85 · 25/06/2020 07:00

@Onekidnoclue that's ridiculous making you wait til next week. Rest well and I hope everything turns out well for you 💗

WhoUsedMyName · 25/06/2020 08:12

@Onekidnoclue it's not very helpful in a&e when pregnancy is concerned, the amount of people that go there with similar situations they should have a sonographer working in a&e it's not fair. Have you had a scan yet sorry I can't remember who has and who hasn't on here. But on mine there was a large implantation bleed and I was told if this came out it would be quite shocking because it was large x

Dragon82 · 25/06/2020 08:20

@Onekidnoclue I’m so sorry to hear that. When I had my spotting I called early diagnostic unit (early pregnancy unit) and they had me in same day for a scan. If you can face it, maybe call your midwife and see if they can see you sooner? I hope you’re not having a MC xxx

My twin had 1 MMC (11weeks) and 1MC (7weeks). I stayed with her for the first MMC. codeine, paracetamol, sitting in a bath with bath salts was how she got through it. Watch out for fainting, she fainted at top of stairs during night cos she went to loo. Gave me and her hubby a right scare. Sending lots of love and positive vibes. I really hope you aren’t having a MC, ty to get as much rest as possible although I know you have a little one so I guess that makes it more complex to stay in bed all day xxx

Seeker2020 · 25/06/2020 08:41

So sorry @Onekidnoclue Flowers

Onekidnoclue · 25/06/2020 12:27

I freaked out and called the EPU in tears. They’ve scanned me now and THERES A BABY WITH A HEARTBEAT!!!! Im in shock. The sonographer told me there was a baby and I said “where?”
They think I lost a twin.

OP posts:
Onekidnoclue · 25/06/2020 12:28

I think I was so sure it was a MC as it wasn’t just blood. There were large ‘tissue’ lumps too.

Bit smaller than expected but it was there! 💪💪💪

Dia12 · 25/06/2020 13:03

Oh how lovely to hear @onekidnoclue, so pleased for you.
Good job you called EPU, a&e should have really sent you there anyway. Anyway, enjoy the lovely news and the lovely weather.
