Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

That’s great @Opelbow I got mine for 9th and it says in bold you must come alone which I thought added an air of excitement.

Hi ladies, I have my 12 week scan on Thursday and am getting nervous and excited. We haven't booked a private one so DH won't be coming with me What is it like? Anyone still also coping with fatigue and nausea?

@Seeker2020 good luck at your scan let us know how it goes. I Dont have mine until the 9th July - my partner won't be able to go with me either 😞
I have terrible terrible nausea - most smells make me want to vomit , I am currently sat upstairs because I cannot bare the smell of what my OH is eating for his lunch lol.

Yeah terrible nausea and sickness now... Smells make me gag, looking at foods make me gag, watching food being made makes me gag, opening my eyes makes me gag and dairy products are currently making me be sick... everything has to be bland and tasteless and crap for me to keep it down 😭😭 the joys of pregnancy

@PollyOaks yep all the time and the feel sick if I eat feel sick if I don’t is also really fun xx

@Dspx it's driving me insane lol poor hubby keeps making me things to eat and I waste them after a couple of bites lol

Worrying myself today... I’m 8+4 today and I really don’t feel pregnant anymore 😢 my appetite is coming back and apart from feeling shattered nothing else

@Tink2020 I totally understand. I’ve been yoyoing between feeling like shit and panic that I no longer feel shit. In my expert medical opinion hormones are just total fuckers and this is supposed to be practice stress for liking after a newborn.
Do you have a date for a scan? Would you consider an early one?

It’s not until the 21st of July... we are considering a private one in the next couple of weeks as our local hospital isn’t budging on allowing partners. I’m already classed as a high risk pregnancy so don’t want my first scan alone x

12 week scan soon. I don't think DH can come, but I'm going to ring and check. I just feel really nervous and worried so we've both taken the full day off and will go together. Even if he can't come in he can sit in the car and wait.
I'm 11+4 and so close to being able to tell people. I'm looking forward to not having to hide it. One of my friends noticed I wasn't my usual self, so it'll be good to be able to tell everyone.
I'm very fed up of feeling so exhausted all the time. I keep doing too much and overdoing it and paying later in the day or the next day. I feel really guilty, and I don't think my DH really understands. He seems to think if it's not morning sickness then I'm ok, and it's hard to explain how debilitating the exhaustion is. I used to go to the gym 3-4 times a week to do spin. I think twice about going upstairs at the moment.

@burdog I totally understand the exhaustion. I was so active before and a definite morning person. I've actually wondered if I'd developed an condition like ME as I cannot believe how wrecked and debilitated I am and all the napping in the world doesn't help. Pregnancy can be tough! But worth it and this will be short lived

@footprintsintheslow is totally right @burdog. The exhaustion is brutal. It does get better.
Tbh I think the tiredness from broken sleep with a newborn is kind of easier to deal with as sleep will cure it. This exhaustion is permanent. I could sleep for days and still feel whacked.

@Tink2020 it’s so tough doing this solo. Though I’m trying to tell myself to go in expose worst and if it’s good news then I get double as I get told and I get to tell DH. it’s bloody hard though. Makes me feel much more like it’s my responsibility

My battiness has reached a new level. Having a conversation with DH while making tea. Spoonful of sugar out the bowl and then I just threw it in the bin instead of putting it in the mug. I had to walk across the kitchen to do this. Mug was right next to me. He’s completely convinced this is proof I’m unhinged, tbh I’m starting to think I’ve cracked up too!

I'm getting tired of being tired.

Hopefully some us will pass the 12 weeks soon and give the rest of us hope it will get better.

I had a Thai green curry last night. Oh the indigestion.

I'm OK, keep randomly throwing up which is great 🤔🤔...
I'm tired and also loosing the plot more than ever... Didn't realise there was anything else in the pot to loose 🙈😂.
Had my booking in app this morning and midwife seems happy that things are as they should be... Got to have diabetes test later in pregnancy tho due to my mum being diabetic.
