Just got my BFP after six bloody long months of trying. Thrilled but a bit weirded out! Anyone in the same boat?

Thank you. I’m 11 weeks today have booked a private scan so my partner can come. We had a loss last year where the baby wasn’t developing and it took 5 scans over 7 weeks to fully determine that the baby had stopped developing so just really freaking out. I had bleeding from day 1 last time and nothing this time so I am hoping everything is fine but can’t help dreading it at the moment we’re in blissful denial where as tomorrow it could all be taken away from us again. It could all be perfect as well and that would be great and mean I can start enjoying pregnancy it’s just very hard to let my mind go to the positive xx

@Dspx oh sorry you've been through such a rough time. Is your appointment early so you don't have to wait all day tomorrow. I'm sure you'll come away with a lovely pic to show us all. It's difficult not to worry but once you see your little bean I'm sure you'll feel much better

No not until 5 as we both have work all day hopefully if I keep busy it will go quick. I will make sure to update you tomorrow x

@Hopefulmummie glad you got home. But sorry to hear you have shoulder pain and are back in hospital. Really hope you don’t have a tube rupture, you’ve been through so much already. Let us know how you are going.

@Dspx good luck with scan. I think if you’ve had a lost it must be very scary. I really hope all is good with your little one

To all, found out my identical twin is pregnant, she’s 4 weeks behind me. It’s completely mad! She started trying on sept 2017 and had 2 MC. I started trying in jan 2019 and this is my first pregnancy. What are the chances! She’s very nervous due to past history but she’s also crazy excited. We can’t get over it. My brother will be shocked when we tell him as we are 37, I think he’d given up on being an uncle!

@Dspx good luck today. I hope the time flies by and the next ten hours doesn't feel like 24!

@Dragon82 AMAZING! Clearly it’s meant to be! Being so close you could easily end up with them being born on the same day!!! Perhaps I’m getting over excited though

Finally have my booking appointment at 5pm today. Over the phone. . I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow.

I'm 9w tomorrow too....wooo....still amazed.

I had my MW call yesterday and it felt so real. I mentioned to her I'm still in disbelief (and also anxious all the time), she said it's very common and to feel that way and that she recently spoke to someone who despite the +ve HPT still didn't believe she was pregnant......reminded me of you @onekidnoclue!! 😄

Had some odd pains yesterday across my whole belly but really couldn't figure if it was ligament pain or just overeating! Shame on me.

Do any of you ladies have the pregnancy+ app it's on iPhone. I love it

@WhoUsedMyName I have Flo and Emma diary. I love seeing the pictures of what the baby looks like. I can't believe they look like babies now not fishes. But so so small.

Emma's dairy gets you the gift bags from boots, they are still doing them. I picked up my pregnancy one already .

Oh lovely are they the bounty bags I think maybe the same kind of apps. I know it's so lovely my DH is like do u realise that's not actually your baby 🤣

@Dragon82 that's amazing about your twin being pregnant

So I've ended up being admitted to hospital again :( I went for my scan this morning which showed the pregnancy has got slightly bigger than last week so they told me I would more than likely require surgery as methotrexate injection hadn't worked.

Then they were asking me did I want to try another dose of methotrexate or go for surgery which is a big decision to make.
In the end my blood results came back and showed that pregnancy levels have actually went down
Methotrexate affects the liver and tests have shown mine has got worse so they don't want to have to give me it unless it's necessary.
I'm being kept in overnight to have more tests done tomorrow and if levels go down again hopefully I will be allowed home and no more treatment

@Hopefulmummie I’m sorry to hear that surgery is still a possibility. You must be so fed up with hospital now. Ectopic pregnancy is very tough, especially been asked to consider a decision like that. I really hope that the first shot of medicine takes affect and you don’t need any further treatment

I brought myself a 9ft pillow it's just came and j can't wait to sleep with it! I also feel if I'm not in the mood it creates a great barrier

Good suggestion for the Emma's diary @opelbow - I hadn't heard of these sample packs but look useful!

Had my appointment for bloods with midwife today and booking in app is Monday. Sickness is taking over my life and I'm struggling to feel positive when every move I make or anything I eat makes me gag or be sick... I'm hoping there is better days to come once I hit the 12 week mark.

9 weeks today and booked another scan for 27th so My DH can come too x

@angelascott the sickness sounds dire. Apart it peaks at week 9 so I hope this is the worst bit for you and it starts to look up soon. X
